The staff tried to accommodate and adjust for obvious short cuts made by the owners. The owner needs to commit some money to make improvements. My family and I will not stay at this hotel again

Cons (-) Checked in after a long day of driving. Room was fine, but found dirty underwear next to the toilet in the bathroom. Staff were very apologetic when I told them the next morning, but it was still gross to have to deal with at 11:30pm.
Pros (+) Good value for a basic but older hotel. Plenty of parking. Reasonably quiet area but still close to amenities.
Cons (-) The breakfast room was very cramped. The toilet was finicky, needed to jostle the handle a few times to shut off water after flushing. Thin walls, good thing my neighbours were quiet.
