Pros: What a welcome we got and what wonderful hosts! We spent two weeks in Japan and the stay in this traditional house was the highlight of our trip. Never before have we been so well treated and kindly welcomed as by these hosts. Our daughters were thrilled and are still talking about the lovely lady running the hotel. If we were to come back we would definitely stay with them again - such a friendly family!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best place i’ve ever been. The owner is so friendly that she makes you feel like home :) big thanks for everything
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing stay. The nicest hosts we have experienced so far - they were extremely nice and helpful. The small hot bath was a pleasure after a day’s skiing. Definitely recommend
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything about it. The host was amazing and so lovely. She was always happy and kind. The property is perfect. Close to everything and just a show hop to the mountain. Bus station is close by if come by bus. The in house food delicious. Onsen is hot and clean. The rooms are big and clean. The ski room is perfect has a work bench and a big heated drying room.
Cons: Nothing. It was perfect. Will be back soon.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts went above and beyond, and gave an authentic Japanese experience without making us feel like complete Gaijin. I would love to go back there!!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Home away from home . Place is great and the host was the best we have had on 3 month trip so far. Went out of her way to make us feel at home .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality and kindness of Nao and Kazu was overwhelming wonderful. We had a lovely stay and would be happy to return again. I really like how there’s an onsen in the bathroom. I used it several nights and it was great. The guest house is central to town and close to the shuttle bus to the ski lifts. My favorite part of the stay were the hosts. When I came, I was a stranger. When I left, I felt like family. Thank you Nao and Kazu for a wonderful experience and holiday. We will miss you dearly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nao is very kind and helpful! We love to stay with you so much

Pros: The hosts were so cheerful and helpful during our stay. The Riyokan was immaculate and very comfortable. The spa was very relaxing. It was a short walk to all amenities in town.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely spot with a nice-sized room. The hotel itself is located in the downtown core near the shops/restaurants/onsens. Very friendly/helpful staff. Would happily stay here again!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: GREAT breakfast!! Semi buffet with fresh mandarins and apples every day. VERY attentive and helpful staff. Actually the hostess, i think. Thank you, Kaori. GREAT location between the main street and the gondola base station. One of the free public onsen is next door. Super convenient. A free drink corner w hot choc n tea n coffee next to the fireplace at the hotel lobby. A CLEAN, HOT bath inside the property. It's not hot spring water but it's just soooo nice to have it available when u don't want to go out to the onsen after skiing. I noticed that the floor mat outside the shower was changed every day. It shows their attention to detail when it comes to hygiene. An UNEXPECTED useful, local souvenir from the hostess when we checked out.
Cons: Slept on only one futon for two nights. It gave me a backache. Then stacked up one more on the next two nights. Feeling much better. My roommate didn't have the problem though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great , but most of all it was the generosity of the host . She and her husband went out of their way to make our stay so memorable
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: 1. The staffs are very kind and friendly 2. Offer discount lift ticket and rental coupon 3. Location is perfect, close to bus terminal and ski lift.
Cons: 1. No lift , need to carry the luggage to the room ( but you can ask staffs for help) 2. Only two toilets for each floors and no private sink in the room. Toilet is always crowed especially in the morning, need to wait for a while. 3. Share bath is small , good for one or two people at the same time only. (we choose pay onsen for the last two nights, that’s perfect) 4. Western breakfast is very simple, we prefer Japanese breakfast more.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Incredible service and advice from family owners. 20 meters from great free public onsen. Straight 5-10 min walk up to Nagasaka lift area, and straight easy 5 min walk down to main market street. Traditional and western food available for breakfast. Spotlessly clean amenities. Free tea/coffee in lobby lounge with fireplace. Perfect WiFi throughout, even on top 3rd level furthest from hotel office. Mother-owner speaks serviceable English, son owner speaks good English. Very authentic Ryokan experience with tatami mat flooring and sleeping on bedding you can make and position yourself. Safe in room. View of the mountain from upper levels. Despite the flaws (see below) there is something charming, bewitching and authentic about Nozawa and this hotel. It feels like a home and I know I would be welcomed back there. I feel I would be able to slip right back in like putting on some comfy slippers and get stuck quickly into the wonderful skiing.
Cons: A little dated, clearly an older building, perhaps from 60’s-80’s. No bathrooms in rooms, and no showers in the entire building. However, they do have their own small onsen, and there is an INCREDIBLE free public onsen just 20 metres away on the corner. The surrounding area is not the most exclusive part of town, but also it is not not the bar/music area. It’s in between both extremes in its vibe. Like most of Nozawa, most nearby buildings look to have had repairs and upgrades done DIY over several decades, so the cosmetic appeal of the area and most of the town in fact is lacking. This town is certainly not as pretty as Salzburg for example! This hotel I would give 7/10 for its cosmetic appearance compared to many other hotels in town. There certainly are other more modern and architecturally hip properties in Nozawa than Utopia, but would they make me feel as welcome, and would they provide such wonderful service for the price? This hotel is wonderful value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner is so helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean and tidy. Short stroll to the ski field. We had a pleasant stay at Utopia and will definitely be back when we visit Nozawa Onsen and ski resort!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic hosts, great food (breakfast alternating between Japanese & Western each morning was great), fantastic dinner if you opt for it, location perfect distance between main road with most of the restaurants and the Ski Gondala and hire. Really couldn't fault it and would stay there again in a heart beat.
Cons: Being picky but having a couch or something similar in the room would have been great. The traditional floor matts and cushions were good for the first couple of days but when we got sore from skiing a couch to relax in would have been perfect.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The service was great, so was the food, and the facilities were very clean.
Cons: The bath was a bit small and in need of renovation.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here for five nights for our first trip to the snow in Japan. The location was great, only a five minute walk to the gondola every morning and a 30 second walk to the main street. The hotel gives a discount for lift passes (which you can buy through them), and it also has a drying room which was useful. The onsen in the hotel was also great! The husband and wife who run Utopia were so incredibly welcoming and helpful, always going out of their way to help us and everyone else. Their hospitality and kindness was one of the reasons we loved the place so much! The beds are traditional Japanese futon, and whilst not being the most comfortable in the world, it is traditional Japanese bedding, and we were open to experiencing this whilst in Japan. If staying here, have dinner one night and order sukiyaki - it was honestly one of the most delicious meals we had in Japan! We loved staying at Utopia and will definitely be back with friends in the future!
Cons: Nothing, it was all amazing!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved our stay!Friendly hosts, great location, comfortable and clean. Will definitely be back.

Pros: The rooms were spacious and colorful. We were provided with veery cute onsen bags when we arrived. The location is about as central as you can get. The women at the front desk were also extremely nice.
Cons: I could have lived without the breakfast, which you had to prepare yourself from items they supplied.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Central location Helpful(and English speaking) staff It was very quiet when we were there and we had an onsen to ourselves The onsen was very relaxing The beds were very comfortable Breakfast was in the form of bread, yoghurt fruit and jam which you made as you wanted in your large apartment
Cons: We couldn’t fault it

Pros: Location was fantastic! Clean, cute lodge with lovely breakfast :)
Cons: Shared bathroom
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so nice, the facilities were clean and overall enjoyable!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lodge Matsuya was in an excellent location just around the corner from restaurants and bars in the town. The gondola station and ski rental shop was about a 7-10 minute walk (uphill) but was manageable. If you use the ski shop recommended by the property, you not only get a 10% discount but you can also store your hire gear in their dry room which means you don't have to carry them up and down the hill to the hotel. You can also get a discount on lift passes if brought through the hotel. The staff were amazing at the hotel and everything was incredibly clean and tidy. We stayed in one of the western-style rooms and the beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was served between 7.30-8.30 which was quite a tight window but it was a good breakfast that set you up for the day. You can choose between a western or Japanese cooked breakfast. The shared bathroom was an onsen and there were clear instructions on how to use it and the etiquette to follow for first-timers. Soaking tired muscles in a hot onsen after a day on the slopes was amazing!
Cons: The rooms were quite cold, there was a gas heater provided which heated up the room in no time but also made the room smell of gas. It didn't really affect us though for the short amount of time we spent in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is Great
Cons: Nothing

7.9 Good
Pros: This inn is VERY close to the lift making it very convenient for skiing! Its about a 10 min walk from the main stretch of shops and restaurants. The owner was very welcoming and gave us a map of the city and a 10% discount to rent gear at a shop nearby. When we returned from a day out, the owner's wife brought us a small plate of sliced apples - and also sent apples with us when we checked out. Be aware: the bathrooms and showers are shared and the rooms are comfortable, but basic. The room we booked had tatami mats throughout and we slept on futons. (there are some western bed rooms available) This is a great small place to rest your head while you enjoy skiing and onsen.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Could walk to the main gondola in under a minute. The staff were so helpful and nice. Was very clean
Cons: Small pillows
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and high standard of cleanliness
Cons: The property was excellent
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Not buffet style which I'm more accustomed to. Breakfast was Japanese style (i.e. served with rice) and changed every single day. Overall I'd say it was very good considering the price.
7.1 Good
Pros: The location is absolutely brilliant. 2 mins walk from the main gondola.
Cons: Overpriced breakfast. All a bit disorganised, in terms of check in and out as well at the bathing and breakfast times.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hosts are great! The room was comfortable and everything was really nice. It's a budget option but I think it's one of the best. Beds on the tatami mat were super comfy.
Cons: You can only use the shower between 3:30pm and 9:30pm. As someone who has a morning shower I found this really frustrating!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owner picked us up from the bus station and helped to get to the hotel - they were very helpful and kind! Highly recommended! Room was heated very well compared to other hotels in Japan on winter.
Cons: Warmer onsen room (floor), but that is just how Japanese do onsen.. :)

Pros: Beautiful traditional Japanese accommodation with wonderful staff. Yukiko helped us with organising another futon bed for our room & we were very comfortable. It was a great location for skiing & also watching the incredible Fire Festival. The Breakfast provided was delicious & all staff are very friendly & helpful. They also included a transfer for us to the bus station with our luggage & transportation of our ski gear directly to the airport which is very much appreciated.

Pros: Hosts were very friendly and welcoming
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Professional and caring owners who went out of their way to ensure we had the best time
Cons: nothing
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: An experience to talk about.
Cons: It was much further away than I thought from ski facilities. Futons were too short for three guests who are over 180cm. No extra bedding was available. Breakfast were traditional, but not negotiable. If you didn't eat what some one else thought you wanted, you ate nothing. I
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was amazing and the ryokan is very close to the fire festival
Cons: It could have been nice to have a little common area to sit with friends who visited us
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great stay! Wonderful staff who are really friendly and accommodating. Comfortable rooms and a walk up the hill to many restaurants and the walking road. Great recommendations for rental and able to buy the lift passes from the ryokan.
Cons: On the map the place looks closer to the Yu road but the steepness of the walk makes it feel like much more of a distance and effort. Totally doable and we didn’t mind, but for people who don’t want to walk too far or get their heart rate up, this might be good to know.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A delightful ryokan, set in the village of Nozawa Onsen. Great onsen, friendly staff and very comfortable futons on tatami mats. Excellent Japanese style breakfasts that varied each day. Close to everything we needed in the town. We stayed with family and a group of friends. Rooms varied in size, but ours were large enough and comfortable.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel owner was our main point of contact, can't express how welcoming and knowledgeable he was about he local area and his willingness to share. My Japanese is far from the greatest but my partner took his advice and they had many a good chat. Above and beyond. ありがとうございます
4.0 Okay
Pros: The man who owns/runs this place is adorable. Such a nice gentlemen. It’s also only a 15 minute walk from the main gondola to get to Hikage slopes, and there’s a free shuttle bus right across the road. Also, delicious pizza next door! Honestly, the owner was the only redeemable quality of Kadowakikan. He is why I have kept this anonymous because I feel bad writing a bad review and I don’t want him to know it was us.
Cons: I knew that there was a shared bathroom, but there’s no actual bathroom. There’s toilets (that smell weird) on every floor, but the only shower/bath facility are the wash stations at the Onsen bath house downstairs (which also smelled weird). I didn’t like that my daily showers could only be while sitting on a small plastic bucket in a public bath house. There were stains on the carpeted area in our room, and every morning at 7.30am there is a breakfast announcement via the loudspeaker in each room, even if you didn’t make a reservation for breakfast you’ll still wake up to the announcement.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Traditional tatami rooms, home style hospitality, traditional bathroom/Onsen, breakfast.
Cons: This is our third trip to Japan and Kadowakikan is up there as one of our all time favourite places to stay for traditional Japanese hospitality
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were very cute. Quite a large space. The futon beds are very comfortable. And the small indoor balcony let’s you enjoy a great view. The breakfast was good. Quite western. They were able to cater for my gluten free needs. Location was good. The shuttle bus stop to go to the mountain was right out the front. And it was a short maybe 10 min walk to town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely traditional room with futon, kotatsu and mountain view. It’s a 10 minute walk to the town centre but right near a bus if you don’t want to walk. A few restaurants very close by. The owner is lovely and uses google translate app when communicating gets difficult He even came in at 7am the morning we left to drive us to the shuttle coach which was very appreciated as it was snowing hard. They provide yakata and there is a Onsen on site which was amazing after a day snowboarding I loved this place and was one of the best experiences of my trip to Japan
Cons: It was all good
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful traditional guest house. Friendliness and helpfulness of the host and his staff were exceptional. A delightful place to stay.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owner went above and beyond for any request and was extremely accommodating and welcoming. The drying room for snow gear was efficient and there is plenty of storage downstairs for your skis/boards. The room was a lovely traditional design with strong heating and comfortable beds. We were more than happy with the hotel and the proximity to the nearest chairlift made access convenient. Breakfast was delicious and was a great way to start the day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Yasuo was an excellent host. He went above and beyond to welcome us (met us at the bus stop when we arrived and made a quick dinner for us when the restaurants were closed). I’d come again in the future!

Pros: The staff is so kind, and the facilities are beautiful. The location is stunning.
Cons: The futon was very uncomfortable. We had stayed in two other ryokan during our month in Japan and had no issues, but here we had great difficulty getting comfortable.

In particular, I was very impressed with a gentleman staff, Shinichi mori san, who was very kindly and helpful during our stay. ryokan sakaya is wonderfully located and has a beautiful garden in the lobby. the owner is extremely speedy and responsive in answering email, and such a pleasure with perfect English. makes communication prior to arrival , a breeze.

Overview Reviews
When you stay at Wafu Pension MIYAZAWA in Nozawaonsen, you'll be near ski lifts, and a 4-minute walk from Nozawa Onsen Snow Resort and 6 minutes by foot from Kenmei-ji Temple.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Its a Ryokan; which is what I wanted. The room I chose used shared facilities which were fine. The staff speak sufficient English for a stay by non Japanese speakers. Situated halfway between the ski slope and the town is convenient. Note the building colour is actually light grey!
Cons: I weigh 66kg but even for me the toilet cubicles (note they are western style) were chotto chisana
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We had a fantastic stay at Pension Miyazawa! The staff were lovely, very accommodating and helpful with our early arrival, even getting our room ready for us at 1pm when we arrived at 11am. The location is fantastic, 5 minutes walk from the main Nagasaka Gondola (and a short skate/skin/walk up to the Hikage lift area and if the queue is long). Also 5 mins from the main street of town and fantastic (VERY HOT) public onsens. The lodge was cleaned daily, had a very warm and effective drying room for all our gear, and the brekky was fab - a choice of styles (japanese, western, pancakes, bread based etc). We had the Japanese choice and it was hearty, healthy and fresh. Near wonderful restaurants - if you stay here make sure you try Banpuku for great ramen and udon, which is just 50 metres downhill from the lodge on the right, marked with a little lantern and sign. It's super local, tiny and not even on Google Maps yet but was incredibly delicious and cheap. If you are thinking of staying in Nozawa Onsen pick this great locally run pension - the hospitality, food and service was wonderful!
Cons: The only SLIGHT inconvenience for some people could be accidentally walking past it - but then again, that's part of the charm! It was a tiny bit hard to find from the street, it's up a driveway around the corner from Pure Nagasaka. However, once found it was a perfect location between the lifts and main street of town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We've stayed in a number of places around nozawa onsen and the greater Nagano area for ski trips. The wafu Pension was by far our best stay. The location is ideal, the rooms and large clean and comfortable and the staff is wonderful. The ski Centric focus and facilities (dry room, ski locker) were a huge bonus. We look forward to visiting again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the kind of family-run place where you are taken care of. Our daughter was sick and the staff made her some broth and delivered it to us. Breakfast is delicious. The room with the loft was perfect for us. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
Cons: We couldn't find anything wrong with the place. It is a bit of a walk up the hill, but then you are closer to the slopes.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location and friendly helpful staff. Great value for money.
Cons: Nothing really,
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved the traditional Japanese breakfasts. The dinner we ordered was delicious and excellent value. The staff were really nice. I want to stay at Wafu Miyazawa again. Pro-tip: rent a yukata to chill in, and don't forget to use the on-site hot bath.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service was excellent and helpful

Pros: Friendly family and very kid friendly. Easy access to Hikage area.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Family run place, very cosy.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel in a great location. Ski in/out, rental place just next door. Easy to get in to the village and back - it is a decent uphill walk but our three kids managed it each day. Hotel staff were very friendly, breakfast was super. It’s a basic place (shared bathrooms) but very clean and the location in unbeatable!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly, the traditional Japanese breakfast was delicious and the location is great. On our last night, they let us drink red wine in the fire room and put on an English DVD they had on hand. It was a great personal experience.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Sweet and knowledgeable owners who made me feel valued and welcome.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was our 2nd time skiing at Nozawa and we couldn’t have been happier staying at lodge Hahnenkamm for 5 nights. We were picked up at the bus stop in the Lodge van (and also dropped off at the end of stay). The facilities were clean. There’s a drying room for ski gear and common space was large & comfortable, with a fireplace and music. The breakfasts were varied and different each of our 5 days. Our western bed was comfortable (not on the floor!) and the room was large and the in-lodge onsen was hot as ever and never had to wait to soak.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Great price. Meals were really good.
Cons: My old back needs s better mattress!
4.6 Okay
Pros: The location is excellent - ski in and ski out.
Cons: The room was horrible - cold, barren and tiny. Two bunk beds and one full size bed for our family. I felt like they had converted a closet into a room. The breakfast was also very bad, serving size tiny and poor quality. I have lived in Japan for 20 years and know a good Japanese breakfast. They do not offer the same service of other locations to help you get from town to the hotel after the You-road closes at 5:30pm. Other hotels have pick-up services. I was even willing to pay and the lady was very unhelpful. My son and I walked in a blizzard for 30 mins up a pitch black snow covered road to get back to the hotel. Very poor service.

Pros: Excellent location, away from main road and traffic yet very close to main street and gondolas. The sweetest, kindest and most helpful owners! Our flight was delayed by 1.5h so we weren't able to make it to hotel as arranged, Qantas didn't apologise but hotel owner understood and didn't charge us for the 1st night that we had to stay in Tokyo instead. When I asked for help with bus and train stops to our next destination (as they were in Japanese writing)6 nights later ( Yudanaka, Shibu Onsen), the lady owner kindly translated the stops to English and than felt that it was all to difficult and offered us a ride - unbelievable! We were so very grateful!!! Instead of traveling for hours we had hours to enjoy walking around Shibu Onsen until our check in time, really can't thank you enough, it was raining all day! The breakfast is outstanding, so many different ever changing dishes, a joy and a real treat to wake up to! Our room was so beautiful and so warm, very stylish Japanese which we very much wanted, generous room size, recommend this hotel warmly to all! You will not regret it!We can't wait to return! Thank You Kindly For Everything! It was such an amazing experience!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely host who was extremely helpful. Less than 10 min walk to lifts and only a few minutes walk to one of the public onsens. A nice japenese breakfast each morning (along with toast, cereal, coffee and juice). Also a beautifully presented property.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic food and super friendly and helpful owner. Second time staying here and just as good as I remembered! Food was even better than the first time! Make sure you try out the dinner. Owner is an amazing cook.

Pros: Satsuki san was a wonderful hostess for our visit, and the meals we enjoyed at the Inn were exceptional. Very clean and well laid out... a wonderful experience for the whole family.
7.5 Good
Pros: The bath and shared shower was very traditional
Cons: One day had a stink beetle in the room and had to remove it without killing it, which was alarming especially because it was on my sleeping 9 month old face!!! Otherwise, wonderful, just slightly long walk to Hikage area (where I had childcare booked) Her English level was just okay, enough to get by, but still very minimal/basic.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Onsen and the large sized room. Drop off at bus stop. Lovely staff. Great breakfast and dinner
Cons: Mattressses on floor were a little uncomfortable

7.9 Good
Pros: It was very centrally located. The onsen was nice, staff was very friendly.
Cons: It’s old and outdated. The heater in our room was very old and did not work properly, we were cold at night. It could use a touch of paint and some TLC
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was great. It gave a perfect feeling fof Japanese food. The location would be a 4 out of 5. It isnt in the middle of town, but close enough to every sites we wanted to go to. We were able to visit all 13 onsens and walking to the slopes wasnt too bad either.

7.1 Good
Pros: Location on piste
Cons: Cold eggs for breakfast every day. The western breakfasts are rubbish and you have to pay 200 yen to get milk not crema for your coffee Evening lodge meals also served cold. Shower pressure low. Not heated well compared with other places we have stayed in ski region
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location and service was amazing.
Cons: Need more acoustic control for the rooms
7.5 Good
Pros: The dinner at night was good value and tastes good. We stayed in the log house which was just above the onsen and that was really convenient. Onsen was quite decent. Relatively near to the main gondola, maybe 5 minutes walk.
Cons: It is very far from the main village and there is no transport available. It is a long walk, uphill and in the snow.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent in-house dinners. Friendly and helpful host/owner. The Lodge was on the slopes but the luggage was transported to and from the Lodge by over-snow vehicle from an associated lodge near the bus station in town. Good secure ski storage and heated boot room with easy access from slopes. Excellent in-house onsen. It is a bit of a walk back into town and the moving walkway shuts at 5:00pm but this didn't bother us as the in-house evening meals were excellent.
7.5 Good
Pros: Loved the Denby. Ski in ski out - great accommodation, gracious host. Extremely clean and helpful staff. Could not fault. Onsen on the premises often for own use. Delicious breakfast and authentic Japanese dinners. Ski drying room very warm so comfy boots every morning!
Cons: Nothing to add here
9.0 Excellent

Pros: Onsen was great
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was great for skiing! Right next to the slopes!
Cons: Accessibility to the nearby village was poor (but that’s because you will be so near the slopes so it is a trade off).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is right on the slope so it's true ski in ski out. The facilities at the lodge make for an excellent experience all round. The onsen was amazing after a long day on the hill and the food was delicious and varied. The team were very courteous while also providing privacy during our stay. We absolutely loved our time at Lodge Denbey in the picturesque Nozawaonsen. Thank you once again Tak and the team!
Cons: There's nothing we didn't like, we had an amazing stay on the slope at Lodge Denbey! Thank you to Tak and the team

Pros: The staff is so kind, and the facilities are beautiful. The location is stunning.
Cons: The futon was very uncomfortable. We had stayed in two other ryokan during our month in Japan and had no issues, but here we had great difficulty getting comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the owner Yuki Mori san and all the staff, who were very informative and gracious.
Cons: nothing

Pros: Staff is Great
