2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: I was shocked at how bad this hotel was and am confused by the positive ratings. There was construction from 7:30am to 5pm that was very loud- no sleeping in. We were sold a tour that was terrible and way overpriced. Staff members tried to sell us side services. The AC did not work properly. The staff was not very friendly. Really bad experience. I will never stay at a Wyndham again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They had great emergency guide. I was really comfortable and happy with this hotel.
6.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was fine. Room was large and bed comfortable.
Cons: Staff were ok, but you could sense they really do not like westerners. It seemed like we were in deep China not Vietnam.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good view and good location .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room and the bathroom were exactly like the photos, very big, comfortable and clean. The room views are absolutely amazing! We stayed at New Year’s Eve and had dinner at the hotel, when we arrived at the dinner we were the only non-vietnamese people and the staff treated us incredibly well, it was heart touching how kind they all were to us. They chose for us the table with the Ha Long bay best views of the restaurant and they were all the time taking care of us. Thank you for making our New Year’s Eve dinner unforgettable!
Cons: The Ha Long bay boat tours the hotel offers are far too expensive in comparison to the tours you can book at any street agency and they offer the same. Same with transportation to other cities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an amazing property with fantastic views. The bed was incredible. The room service was delicious and the breakfast buffet was huge. I had a great stay.
Cons: The tour desk wasn't able to help me book a spa visit. I was a little disappointed. I was able to find a spa on my own so it worked out.

Pros: Staff were absolutely wonderful and professional, kind and nice. Such a joy. The resort was perfect and very clean, breakfast was exceptional! Loved the stay at this hotel.
Cons: I might seem a bit picky but the music that was played in the lobby and restaurant was a bit annoying, the same tunes all the time all over again.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely being on a private island, accessible by speedboat only and use of facial recognition added that little extra security.
Cons: Tables in dining room, although wiped often with spray, needed a good clean with some hot soapy waster, stains and splashes on every table we sat at
6.0 Good
Pros: Location, facilities and the food
Cons: Staff was completely unhelpful.Beginning wiyh their Terrible English. It was a big deal even to make a reservation with the credit card, which doesn't belong to the guest. Complimentary Dinner , which was promiced by the receptionist - never happened.

Rosa Cruise Halong - Ha Long - Bedroom

Overview Reviews
This vessel pulls anchor and sets sail from Ha Long for at least part of your stay. Featured amenities include express check-in, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing food, staff, accommodation and activities. Would definitely recommend, we got upgraded to Dora cruise and it was fabulous.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: I paid $150 USD compared to the other $310 offer I received for a solo traveler. I was over being around tourists at this point at the staff was awesome. They let me eat on the stern where they prepare the food and left me alone when for the most part. The crew were really amazing. Hung out with most via Google Translate and Minh the tour guide late night just shooting the s**t. Food was very good and bed was comfortable.
Cons: Nothing. Cruise was great for the price. I believe they offer a shuttle from Hanoi. Halong Bay is over priced for Vietnam, being over developed and has no good places to eat (I'm talking about 50,000 dong pho and com chien place too). Take the shuttle from Hanoi and don't bother with Halong Bay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We got upgraded to Dora cruise. Boat was lovely, comfy bed, good aircon, lovely bathroom. Lovely staff who were very accommodating. Loved the kayaking and the cave tour. All transfers for comfy and efficient, highlight of our trip to Vietnam would definitely do it again!
Cons: Nothing was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jinn, Teddy and Chu were amazing and made us feel super at home. Staff were all super helpful and accommodating. Lovely rooms, food , views and cocktails. Swimming in the bay is a memory to remember. Thanks!
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We received an upgrade to Doris Cruise,so our comments are not from Rosa Cruise: The ship is well maintained, the staff polite and helpful, the food was excellent and the transport hanoi-halongbay-hanoi worked well. It was an excellent experience and I would love to repeat it. Recommended!
Cons: We received an upgrade to Doris Cruise,so our comments are not from Rosa Cruise: Employees should let very clear what is included in the cruise price and what is extra. After the dinner they offered a after meal tee. No menu was presented, only asked. Once it was only tee (and during the breakfast these were included) we thought that it was free. When we finished the cruise, we were charged a high price for that tea. It was our mistake not asking about if it was free or not but if we had done that every time someone offered something to us would spoil the experience. This was disappointing but nothing that could eliminate the good impression from the cruise.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were upgraded last minute so my review is on Rosy Cruises but I can highly recommend that to everyone! The cruise was spectacular. The ship is really new and the rooms are beautiful, equipped with a private balcony and even a bathtub overlooking the Halong Bay. 4 meals were included and all of them were plenty and tasty. We did not participate in the programs but decided to enjoy the hot tub on the deck instead which was also great. The staff were super attentive and always took care of everything. We also booked their shuttle from/to Hanoi and everything went smooth and according to schedule. The check in was also hassle free. I would definitely book again with them!
Cons: It would be nice if the time spent on the boat could be a bit more!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing cruise and great staff! Fun activities and comfortable facilities. Would 100% come back to this cruise line!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We got an upgrade to their 5star cruise by name of Dora Cruise. A perfect cruise to spend a good time. Right from the time of pickup from hotel, our guide Tom was always smiling and ready with answers to any questions. ..The cruise cabin was very clean and convenient. We had booked connected family rooms for 4 of us. The facilities match with the pics and food choices are elaborate. we frankly weren't expecting such a lavish layout for lunch/ dinner as well as breakfast. Sunset party was also amazing. Kayaking was good fun! Visit to dark and light cave was also good. The cruise team was always smiling and helpful.
Cons: There is hardly any WiFi available on board... though they claimed that it is available at few places...I checked nearly everwhere...No connectivity!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Starting on the Guide sympathy and knowledge and continuing to the delicious food on board and the amazing room, all completed a wonderful experience on board.

Pros: beautifully clean, superb interior
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. Nice shower. Great buffet breakfast. And the staff was really greta to me. I was getting sick and it was bad weather and the staff treated me excellent even though I probably wasn't at my best.
Cons: Halong Bay in general. This is by means no reflection on the hotel, but Halong Bay is way over priced for Vietnam and it being over developed with no good food or nightlife, and I say that in comparison to Saigon or Hanoi or Nha Trang not to the US or other places. If you do get stuck here, Halong Plaza Hotel is a good hotel and a fair price to stay at.

Pros: I got free upgrade to the Excutive suite and definitely enjoyed the 80m2 room with the view to Bãi Cháy bridge and Sun wheel! The location was exceptional. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Pros: Beautiful hotel, with a great staff. They will golf cart you anywhere in the area. Great place to stay if doing the seaplane tour, or seaplane to and from Hanoi.
Cons: Far away from the pool and the pool was deserted and freezing cold. There was building all around you but the place was eerily deserted.

Pros: Everything great,especially the staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Since our trip was big and we were focusing only in relaxing and do activities such as tours and sightseing this hotel was one of our best choices. It was a great find and a place that combines relaxation, luxury and comfort. We booked this hotel 3 months before our trip and we were very excited from the photos and the fact that is near the pier of Halong Bay for our cruise. When we arrived the reality was even better. The welcoming was very warm and friendly from the staff. The room was on the 3rd floor and it was really luxurius and spacious. It had one of the biggest bed we have evr slept and very comfortable, we didnt want to get up. Very beautiful decoration with small table and comfy chair, with a desk, flat tv screen, great wardrobe with bathrobes and slippers and a perfect luxurius bathroom full of different amenities and hot water during all day. We felt amazed from everything. Every day there was free water, tea, coffee and sugar and the hotel is also eco friendly. The area around the hotel is quite and peaceful the perfect place to relax with some western restaurants and plenty local restaurants were we had great dinners with small amount of money. The outdoor of the hotel looked like a rich european neighborhood decorated with the local hanging lights. The hotel provided also free bicycles which we used them and had amazing rides around. Next to the hotel there plenty markets with large variety of products and souvenir market. The breakfast was beyond our expectations as it had whatever anyone can omagine and the quality was top. We couldnt choose what to eat and honestly I had the best omelette in my life. Wifi was very good and strong in all the areas. The hotel has a pool and a private beach around 2 km away were a golfcar takes you there upon your request. Unfortunately the weather was very cold and couldnt help for such activites but we didnt bother that much. The staff was very warm and friendly, kind and polite all the time and ready to help you i

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Halong Bay is beautiful but crowded. I imagine most of the cruises are quite similar, they go to the same places and the food on board is super good and there is loads of it. Pay attention to the customer reviews - some of the ships are more party boats than others. The Alisa Premier was not like that, and I'm sure Aphrodite isn't either. What was great to notice was that they didn't use any single use plastic on board to protect the environment.
Cons: Our original cruise with Aphrodite was cancelled just a few days before departure, so this review is about Alisa Premier cruise instead. The cancellation was handled quite well via Whatsapp and although unfortunate, it wasn't a disaster.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The service was fantastic from start to finish. Food was of fine dining standard. The tours and activities were very well organised by our main man Jacky. I have to make a special mention to our tour organiser Stella, who went above and beyond all expectations to ensure that we had a memorable experience. You can’t teach that kind of service because it comes straight from her heart. Well done team!!!
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Originally booked on the Aphrodite but upgraded to the Hera boat because numbers were down - and got one of the front suites. So a major upgrade which was a very nice surprise. Team we’re really friendly and accommodating - food was amazing and again the staff were very flexible. So if you’re going to Halong Bay I’d absolutely recommend Aphrodite Cruises. But it’s very touristy - no one really cruises - more just all the boats park up together and head off on the same activities. Next time I’d look at the less touristy alternatives which are emerging.
Cons: All good - the Hera was very comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great experience. Exceptional dining on board. Great personal customer service from crew. Very happy with our choice to use Aphrodite Cruise.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The feed you very well and are willing to cater to food restrictions. They bend over backwards to please you. The room are small and beautiful. This tour exceeded our expectations.
Cons: Communication on where our driver was to pick us up from the cruise ship
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing. They made my visit in Halong Bay so good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were upgraded to a wonderful suite with a fantastic forward facing terrace & spa bath! Bed was very comfortable. Onboard meals were just great. Brunch on day 2 was a highlight. Staff onboard were excellent & Stella in their booking centre was super helpful before, during & after our trip! My only regret was not booking a 2 night cruise
Cons: I would have liked to have cruised a little more around Ha Long Bay rather than going straight to the anchor area.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff really make the experience incredible. Nothing is too much to ask. They even upgraded our room as the boat was quieter during our stay! After a few months travelling around Asia, we have to say that the beds were like sleeping in a cloud - so soft! The food is amazing too. We really couldn't fault our time with Aphrodite. Book it - you won't regret it!
Cons: The only downside is how busy the stops are on the tours - but this isn't a fault of Aphrodite at all. I'd recommend booking the 2 nights option as other guests we met that did this said that their itinerary on day two was in much quieter locations.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice boat, nice staff. We payed 1/3 of the full price which I think it's what it's worth.
Cons: Diner is a little light, was still hungry after.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was staying during the coronavirus issues so ended up being bumped to a bigger cabin on board one of their other boats (the Athena ones so I unfortunately can't speak to the Signature cabins though the one i had was as true to the photos as the rest. The staff were for the most part exceptional on the journey. Felix our cruise manager was great and kept everyone apprised of plans as appropriate. The food was delicious and plentiful and all care was taken to provide you with an alternative if you were allergic to a dish. 95% of this journey was one of the best experiences of my life but... see below
Cons: I had one glaring major issue on this trip that really needs addressing by the company. I wouldn't mention it in the review but never really good a solid answer from anyone as to my concerns. During our shore excursion on day two one of the (somewhat rickety, they appear to hire locals with their own boats) shore boats started taking on water and sinking while we were at the cave. I'm fairly sure this happened while they were trying to rock it off the other boat in shallow water which they were doing while passengers were on board and nearly flipping it... At a certain point we were ordered off the boat and the guide told 'the young ones' that we'd have to Kayak back. This was an option I'd already been considering but it was a lengthy kayak trip and quite windy. In the end we weren't given a chance to put our bags on the second boat that was going back so the 6 of us who were kayaking had various phones/cameras/wallets etc with us in the Kayak. The second boat did not escort us but went back to the day boat in order to return and pick up kayakers after. There was no suggestion that if we wanted to we could stay at the cave and wait for the remaining boat to make two trips. More worryingly this was a crossing on a windy day and I'd been warned the currents could be very strong around some of the islands. 3 of our 6 people were very much novice kayakers, there is no way they should have been out in this area on a windy day with no support boat. Our guide didn't seem to be a particularly skilled kayaker either (he clearly didn't expect to be in one.) Had someone flipped I don't think we were getting them back in the kayak. In that situation at best we were likely trying to tow their kayak away from the rocks as they held on in the waves and hoped the boat would be back soon. At worst more of us would flip trying to help and then......
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Manager Thomas and his staff is very attentive and accommodating to all of us. The cruise ship is clean and comfortable.
Cons: The jacuzzi was not working
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful short trip (2 days, 1 night) which was enough to geht a beautiful overall view of the Ha Long Bay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Most notably we have to name our Tourguide Tommy who answerd every question and showed us how to do squid fishing in the evening. Other activities were kajaking through a fishing village, cooking class, visiting a cave with a beach infront of it and Tai Chi in the morning with the sunrise. The activities weren‘t that long and you could always decide whether you want to participate or not and there was still plenty of time to relax on the beautiful sundeck and enjoy the astonishing view. Our room and the complete boat was very clean. After we arrived on the boat we had a tasteful 3–course meal for lunch, for dinner we got a 4–course meal, and for breakfast we had a buffet and the crew freshly made omlettes or Pho. The food and ingredients were all of a very high quality. So we really had a great experience and can highly recommand the tour with the Signature Halong Cruise. Thank you very much for the crew to give us such a great time.

Pros: Wifi was very good, breakfast was very good. Bathroom was very big and clean. Sea view was nice to see.
Cons: Casino was small. There are 2 of them. Staff told one was for chinese (it’s quite offensive when such segregation happens in a hotel). Nearby places to eat are near sunworld (about 1-2km away) - 5 to 10 mins walk. You can always take a grab taxi (less than 5 mins on car).
7.0 Good
Pros: Overall the hotel was very nice, spacious. Breakfast was lovely and had all you needed. The pool was lovely and quiet, shame the sun was not out. Good size rooms, with extremely comfortable bed. Casino was a nice touch although 4 rooms seems a little excessive.
Cons: We had a big issue with communication, whilst the receptionists were very good. The other staff were difficult to speak with / understand. Many mis communications at the pool, even just asking for a towel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good. No complaint. Strongly recommended for family vacation and friends. An ideal hotel to stay for relax and friendly staff. Will come again for sure.
Cons: nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing, they helped us with everything we needed! We booked a tour through the hotel and were able to cancel with very short notice because of a medical emergency. The room was very clean and comfortable.
Cons: The location was not good, the hotel is far away from any store or restaurant. The hotels restaurant was disappointing. Wish there would have been an outdoor pool...
7.5 Good
Pros: If you're a non-Chinese, avoid this hotel as it caters mainly to the gambling vacation crowd from China as it's close to their borders from Halong Bay. Strange how they've put a board saying "No Vietnamese allowed" into their casino premises! There are hardly any F&B options within a radius of a kilometre from this hotel. There is absolutely no option for food at the hotel, if you're a vegetarian!! Also, there is a deposit of USD 50 during check-in, and be prepared to repeat yourself few times as the staff is completely non-English. But their attitude is alright as they want to help you.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room & staffs.
Cons: Breakfast variety, so many pork items which we do not like as we are tourist here & didn't get chicken/beef items or vegetables without pork.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff from the moment of our arrival were brilliant - extremely professional and welcoming. The rooms are massive with great views and the quality of the furnishings throughout are brilliant. The location is great if you’re looking for nice bars and good restaurants to eat at, a 5 min stroll away takes you to a newly built strip.
Cons: My only negative is the hotel restaurants. The pricing being a lot higher for food in comparison to restaurants nearby (that have beautiful views, amazing food etc). It’s a shame as discouraged us to eat there as there really isn’t anything extra special the restaurant offers to justify being expensive. The lack of customers eating there suggests we were not the only ones to think this.
6.7 Good
Cons: People are smoking everywhere even in elevators. Staff is not speaking english, i have found only one person, and he helped me alot. Others were just smiling and saying "sorry I cant understand you". Another thing is hotel is not trusting you at all.. you need to sign pappers for umbrella, they are checking its condition after the usage (in case of damage u have to pay), personal stopped me during my run in GYM in the middle of the process, as I need to sign somewhere with my room number.. They have a price for every Item in the room, and pricelist is present in the room Windows are very dirty
7.5 Good
Pros: The rooms were big and comfortable, and the sea view was nice too.
Cons: A bit further down the road from the night spot Sun World entertainment area. No free shuttle service to the above mentioned tourist spot and night market place nearby.

Cons: The unprofessional attitude of payment staff, they double booked guest’s payment but didn’t intentionally return it to the guest after they left the hotel, until the guest requested repeatedly and seriously.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good, we got the top cloor room with a sea view and that was amazing. Spacious rooms and very good service. The location of the hotel is very good, walking distance from sun world and street food might market.
Cons: Everything was great.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Noce view from the room on the 29th floor.
Cons: I dont like leaving poor reviews but I feel compelled to warn others. Now, it may have been just bad luck and a coincidence but our experience was poor,.from the messages which were done by people who had no idea how to massage. They also arrived late for the massage and finished early. Then there was the toilet that you had to flush twice. The gym was officially open but when we went to use it, it was clearly being used by staff as a staff room. We walked out. There were no tennis rackets available for the tennis court. The pool bar was closed even though it was during opening hours and breakfast was not great. When discussing the issue of the massage with staff they said that no managers were available as it was their day off! Remember this is supposed to be 5 star hotel for which we paid more than 3 times what other nearby hotels were charging. Anyway, you can do better than this place.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing food, hospitality, and just the right amount of activity and relaxation!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This cruise really is true luxury, the staff and decor of the ship are truly exceptional. Unfortunately our cruise was cut short due to the Coronavirus outbreak, meaning that all ships in Halong Bay had to be suspended but we managed a day on board at least, out of a 2 night stay. The staff were so accommodating and helpful as we tried to secure emergency accomodation. The food was amazing, the bedrooms were beautiful and the whole experience (apart from the outbreak of Coronavirus ruining our trip) could not be faulted.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were INCREDIBLE - professional, attention to detail, organized. The excursions were fun, they packed the schedule for the 2 days/1 night (basically 24 hours). Also, my room and balcony was SO clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!
Cons: The cruise finishes at 10:15am, but we didn’t leave until 12:15pm - this was planned, but unnecessary, since we could’ve been back to Hanoi by the time we left Halong Bay. Other than that, nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gôod food, great staffs and great wonder place to discover
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had an upgrade to the luxury room. Great room with view in the tub~ heaps activities on board to keep u excited.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect! Great food, very confortable room and nice staff!
Cons: Nothing!
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff were awesome. They had a spa on board which I checked out- it was great but the room was a bit cold. The rooms were small but clean and comfortable. We had one with a balcony which would be great in warmer weather but didn't really make the most of it as it was freezing. The food was delicious and I can't really fault it. There was also a happy hour with a range of cocktails available. We didn't partake in the kayaking, again because it was so cold. We would've visited the pearl farm but unfortunately was closed because of the new year and that's our fault for not checking. The tour of the caves was cool and the guide was really knowledgeable and sweet.
Cons: It was a lovely cruise but wouldn't strictly describe it as 'luxury'. There could have been more amenities in the room I.e minibar

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely rooms Great view Very spacious Clean bathroom Big breakfast buffet - worth the money!!!
Cons: There’s isn’t much around the hotel. If you want to see Halong Bay id recommend going on the cruise ship. Pool was very dirty too.
7.0 Good
Cons: Since the sea and the outdoor swimming pools are already cold there I choose this hotel just because it has the indoor swimming pool. But this swimming pool was so dirty that we couldn´t use it. You can´t open windows in your room to get some fresh air. The air was outside so fresh and cool but not in the hotel. You can get for this money better hotel in better location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: When I read the mixed reviews I expected this place to be run down but passable, but because we were attending the Ha Long Marathon, the location was perfect for us. However, this place turned out to be really nice, clean and the beds, eventhough on the firmer side were really comfortable. We got a complimentary breakfast as from the hotel becuse we were a large group and they even packed a breakfast to go for some of us that couldn’t make the breakfast hours. You can see some wear and tare in the hotel but it is a definite value for the money.
Cons: Everything was fine.
6.3 Good
Pros: Room was cleaned but very shabby run down
Cons: This place is very, very outdated. Needs a fresh look. Really run down. The pool is nasty dirty. The whole place looks deserted. Hotel in the middle of nowhere. Not one restaurant to find around. We ended up moving to another part of the city.
7.0 Good
Pros: We were on the 16th floor, which is the best for hole Vietnam, because you are faraway from the continuos horning from the street. Best view to the bay. Confortable beds, huge room (Communist style) and bathroom.
Cons: The room was clean , but carpet, walls , sofa everything at the rooms very dirty, old with stains from use everywhere , which is horrible. The bathroom looks good: shiny and clean, but when you have a closer look you see that is old and nothing works properly. The tabs is situated so close to the age that is impossible to wash your both hands at the same time. The kettle can't be connected with safety and the cable is too short. The staff DO NOT speak good English and it's impossible to understand. They are polite and that's it. Repair started during our stay at the 15th floor and they was so noisy that we couldn't stay at our room and that noise continues till 22:00 h. At the end we called several times reception to stop it. Breakfast- Asia oriented, not EU . One of the days we were just 5 guest and the Bearkfast was horrible , just noodles and bread. To much money per room for that quality.
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff were super friendly even though there weren’t many customers
Cons: We booked this hotel over the Plaza which was cheaper and included breakfast because it had an indoor pool. Unfortunately after checking in, we were informed that the pool was cold and not heated. We are so very disappointed. Although the plaza had an outdoor pool, the facilities were much better. I cannot recommend this hotel
6.7 Good
Pros: The view was excellent
Cons: It is an old Hotel, old carpets. Rooms has an old feel to it. The suite does not have a window to open for fresh air. The aircon could not be set to preferred temperature.

6.3 Good
Pros: We had a comfortable bed. Staff were attentive. Rooms were clean and there was plenty of food.
Cons: We weren’t given enough water. You had to pay quite a lot of drinks. No tea or coffee or snacks provided throughout the day. Our bathroom was not as clean as it should have been with hair around the place. The staff had very little idea of serving etiquette and we saw them littering. The cruise was not relaxing as it was jammed with activities. We had to completely check out of our room at 9am but didn’t leave the boat until 1pm. We had no chance o rest before the journey back to Hanoi. The boat was slightly aged and needs a refurb.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good food exceeded our expectations Good your guide
Cons: You cannot swim in the bay totally ruined it for us Soo hot and that was what we were expecting Blamed on new government rules !!!!
7.1 Good
Pros: The staff was friendly and our route in Ha Long Bay beautiful. We were served a good variety of Vietnamese food and had a fun kayaking experience.
Cons: We had to listen for hours on end to very loud rapp and Hip-Mop, Trance etc music obviously mainly enjoyed by the barman on deck. The guests were never asked whether they wanted to listen to this music or whether they’d rather listen to something different. Moreover, this lasted on New Year’s Eve despite the fact that out of more than 30 guests only about half a dozen stayed on deck - probably because of the inappropriate entertainment. This was a complete disappointment.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The boat was very nice. Staff were very accommodating. Enjoyed the Tai Chi
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our room (1 double and 1 single bed)four our family of 4, A/C and a small balcony with ful length windows to take in the view of the bay. The staff were lovely and Hai (our guide) was so friendly and helpful and was with us from the moment we were picked up from our accomodation in Hanoi from the moment we were dropped back off. The meals were great and there was so much! We dont eat pork and our son is vegatarian... they catered to our needs throughout our stay and made so much effort. Special attention was took for our children who recieved properly fitting life jackets which we really appreciated! Activities - - the kayaking was around an hour and was amazing (I went in a double kayak with my 9 year old). And my husband went with our 3 year old in a traditional Vietnamese boat that held about 6 people per boat. - There was a pearl farm stop on the way back from kayaking but thats not our thing so we just waited outside as it was really quick anyway. - Wine and fruit sunset party was really nice to get mix with the other guests and there were fruit juices for those that dont drink wine. - Squid fishing... again, wasn't our thing so we didn't participate in that activity. - Tai Chi morning class on the deck was really nice and our instructor was very enthusiastic. - Cave and beach trip was a really great trip! But you cannot swim in the sea (its some government rule)... paddling is allowed. - Cooking demonstration was great and hands on. Was perfect for the whole family and we made spring rolls. We dont eat pork so we had a separate veggie batch to make.
Cons: The only thing i can fault them on is I think water should be free. It was very expensive too... I think 2 dollars (around 45000 dong) for a small bottle of water which would really add up when it was so hot out and for a family. But we already heard about the drink prices so we brought our own water.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great trip - very busy as lots to do! Kayaking, visiting a cave, squid fishing, karaoke, tai chi. Lots to eat too. They gave us lunch when we arrived, drinks and nibbles, dinner, breakfast - so much to eat! There were vegetarians in our group and there were very accommodating. They cooked various veggie dishes. The beds were super comfy and the views were amazing. There was also plenty of space for everyone so not at all crowded.
Cons: Would like to have had a swim but there was no opportunity.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our guide, Lucky Hoi, was fantastic, he looked after us well, was informative & was genuinely caring towards all passengers, made this a great experience. Definitely recommend joining his cruise
7.5 Good
Pros: Super friendly staff on board. excellent breakfast / lunch & diner
Cons: booked a 3 day 2 night cruise. sadly got calcelled after the 1st night due to expected bad weather
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wooden cabins, felt quite luxurious and the food was very good.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Cruise staff were very helpful and friendly especially lucky who was our guide for the second day
Cons: There was too much food and a lot was wasted. Maybe concentrate on fewer but higher standard dishes

Cons: lounge quality

Pros: Viet and his crew. Great food and they ensured to get enough options for my wife who is a strict vegetarian. The rooms were squeaky clean and the attached balcony offered a breathtaking view of the bay. I will go back to Vietnam only for this.
Cons: Not much to not like on the cruise

Pros: One of the best experiences we had in Vietnam! The crew was amazing and it was the perfect way to see Ha Long Bay!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff, views
Cons: Drinks including water was overpriced
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were upgraded to Sealife Legend Cruise. Staff is excellent. They are very helpful and made us feel very welcomed. Room we had was very spacious with private Jacuzzi in the balcony overlooking Halong bay. Delicious, well presented food. Well organised trips to cave and kayaking. We really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely recommend this company.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We booked only two days before the journey and got contacted the day before the journey that they could upgrade us to vessel Sealife Legend, a five star vessel. The contact was via WhatsApp which was strange for me so I denied. Then they wrote that Huong Hai was on yearly inspection and they would upgrade us to the president suite on Sealife Legend. I did not believe it until we were in the presidents suite. The suite has officially 135 m2. Very comfortable bed, nice big bathroom with bathtub, shower, etc. the suite is on the front of the ship so you have your own terrace with a whirlpool which unfortunately did not work. The trip was very nice with enough time to relax, take pictures and enjoy the vessel. We went canooing which was nice, and swimming around the boat. Overall a very nice experience
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Ha and Viet were absolutely amazing. Such great energy and genuinely happy people. The entire staff was so respectful and polite. The rooms were also very clean and spacious. Would recommend to anyone looking to do an overnight cruise in Halong bay.
Cons: Nothing ! Wish we were there longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Viet and his team were incredibly wonderful and we had the best two days we could have imagined. The boat (rooms, restaurant, deck, etc.) were spacious and open. It was our first overnight boat tour and we were a bit worried the program might be 'too touristic' for us. It wasn't at all. All activities were great and totally up to you if you want to participate or not. In the end, we loved everything about this trip - it was all truly amazing.
Cons: Nothing!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The rooms and hospitality of the staff was unparalleled.
Cons: :-) the choice of cocktails / drinks should be more. The breakfast can have more items as well.

6.3 Good
Pros: Good location, close to seafood market and restaurants. Cleanliness. Air conditioner.
Cons: Stayed for few nights there and the buffet breakfast didn't change the menu at all. Have to eat the same breakfast for everyday. Staffs are not really friendly and take too long to check-in. We came at 3pm and usually the room should already be done by that time but the staffs told us to wait for them to check if the room is available. The swimming pool is nice but a little bit small. When there are more than 5 people in the pool it will be crowded.
