I booked the hotel for convenience of location, because it is close to friends' place that i was visiting. the neighborhood itself has nothing to see but it is relatively close to other beautiful areas like Chiswick.
I changed 3 rooms because something was wrong with the water supply. It may have been only at the time of my visit but it was very inconvenient. The room I ended up staying in did not have proper water supply and the shower head holder was broken. That said, the staff did their best to find a suitable room and they were very understanding, but this is what was available then.
Clean nice room.
Excelent breakfest and also hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and there is a kettle with tea or coffee in the room. Very good choice for this price
Staff very friendly though
The bed side drawers fell apart everytime I opened them. The shower was cold on arrival Friday night, though it was warm in the morning.
I chose this hotel because it was very closed to where I needed to go out. On checking the person was helpful and explained the different hours, conditions. However I was put off by having to go to a different site for breakfast the next day. I had to move room after checking in as the beds which seemed to be made up were actually disgusting when we opened them to lay on them. Bed sheets were freshly stained, hair and pubic hair all over the sheets, head board was stained everywhere as well as the bed side cabinet. The hotel was none smoking but someone in another room was smoking some drug so a strong smell was invading the hall and the full place. When addressed to the receptionist the only answer I had was "yes I know". So I did suggest that something should be done about it. Once in the other room, it seemed a little cleaner. However the bathroom was not very clean. There was lots of dust fluff on the floor. We ened up staying on the top floor and the velux blind could not be drawed down. so we sleep with nothing to block all the street lights. Over all I think the place can really do with respecting the very basic standards of staying in a hotel. comfort goes with cleanliness!!
The people serving the breakfast at the cafe were more helpful. I had a vegetarian breakfast which was ok with very good portion.
