Room was very large, it was actually more than a room as it had a private bedroom, two bathrooms, a kitchen with a stove and many cupboards and a dining area and a small living space with a TV and plenty of places to sit. The couch opened up to a bed for company. Food was outstanding, two happy hours, staff was great and helpful at all times. An upscale restaurant plus a more casual restaurant on the beach side. The beach for great for long walks and always clean with great sand to walk on. We had fun in the ocean while walking and swimming plus a large swimming pool. Would definitely go back but hard to get reservations as so busy, they are adding another tower of units like the one we had.
A lot of construction going on right now... But it was OK
Wifi worked. Happy Hr twice a day. Our breakfast was included. The pool side lounge chairs were plenty. Lots of places to set up for the day. Vendors don’t come onto the hotel grounds. 2 pools to choose from. Waiters are so friendly.
Unfortunately the air conditioner was too loud had to be shut off so I could sleep. The beds were a lot firmer than I’m used to so my sleeps we’re not comfortable but the room was clean. Didn’t get water every day just assumed we wld get 2 bottles a day. It we bought some. Still construction going on here at the Inn and right in front and down the Golden Zone for several blocks. Only walk on 1 side because the other side in torn up. Make the best of what you can, still better than working for 2 weeks.
The staff is great
The construction was a little inconvenient
Room interior was great. Spacious and clean.
Check in took FOREVER. I’ve never seen a hotel where the process took so long. Constant typing and looking at books and talking to each other and writing things down and form after form to fill out. Also, all the swimming pools and hot tubs were very low on water. Very strange that they couldn’t keep them filled up. Construction all over the place but nothing seemed like it was being worked on. Reviews from even a year ago refer to the same exact construction. Everything was roped off but we never saw anyone doing anything.
