It's barely a DoubleTree. Clean hotel, good location, excellent staff. Small rooms, slow and few elevators, linens and personal amenities below par.

The location is great. Staff were nice. Facilities were terrible. The wait for the elevator sometimes took as long as 15-20 minutes. The rooms are extremely small. The shower leaked water on the floor. Overall would not recommend

Elevators were extremely slow. Took 20 minutes just to get to my room. Rooms were small and not well maintained. Had several things broken or not working. Also the cleaning staff took my soap and didn’t refill, and also took my unopened Red Bull that I purchased and left on my desk. Overall this is an old hotel that’s not worthy of the 4 star rating. Definitely not DoubleTree caliber.

Cons (-) Elevators frequently never showed up, requiring walking down 19 flights each morning. Wifi cut out multiple times. No minibar/fridge for storing leftovers/drinks/snacks in room. Shower leaked water all over the bathroom and entryway floor. Would not stay here again.

Pros (+) Restaurant served excellent Italian food. Well lolcated. In FiDi...close to subways.
Cons (-) Only 3 elevators for a 44 story hotel. I stayed over Labor Day weekend and only 2 were working. They had no WiFi. Took 20 min to get to the lobby...or walk down 30 flights. This is an on going problem. FaceBook reviews complain about elevator. Problems for over 6 months.

Cons (-) Water was not working on two occasions. One of 3 elevators (in a 46 floor building) was not working causing 15-20 waits to go down/upstairs. Not a good thing when you are on the 26th floor.
