Perfect location, easy acces to the city, easy transport from / to airport, fun and friendly staff. Great breakfast. Wonderful view of the train station. The hostel in itself is magical. Excellent blend of privacy and socializing.
Covid-19 ruined my trip. But the hostel did everything to maintain hygiene rules. Due to this, they had to cancel many evening activities which are normally planned in their super awesome lounge living room.
Amazing location, great staff, definitely worth the money. The bread they do at breakfast is so nice, and the fresh orange juice! They also have the machine that you can use for free during breakfast. It also had a cute indoor garden space next to the kitchen which I'd never seen a hostel do before. Very nice. It was a shame we were there when COVID-19 was around so we didn't experience the offers the hostel normally gives, or the city attractions. However, if I or any of my friends were to come to Porto, I would defiantly recommend this place. So cool!
exceptional service! beautiful location! thanks for the hospitality! will definitely return!
Excellent location very close to numerous attractions and metro/trains is very close by. Very tidy hostel with friendly and helpful staff. Despite being close to the train tracks I could only hear the trains from the toilets/ baths but not from the room. Comfortable bed and very good lockers. I liked the laid back ambiance of the hostel lounge and cafe, there was a hippie thing about it but was not unbearable.
I did had a pleasant stay however I did not had much luck with the room mates. One male sounded like a lawnmower all night while the female kept entering and leaving the room until the wee hours of the morning. It must be said that the hinges of the large doors need some oil and the bunk beds could do with a divider between them. As although there was a curtain on the side of the bed I still had a open area at the bottom of the bed where there was no much privacy and because the female left the light on most of the night it also illuminated my space. Again it was not the hostel fault, just had some bad luck with the room mates. That and in the morning I came across an hostile male in his fifties walking around in his boxer shorts using the toilet while alleviating himself quite loudly. He did not washed his hands afterwards and touched the door knob on the way out. There's no harm having some hygiene and good manners.
Situation was great. Staff was very helpful. The room was big and with a big window. It was really clean. The common zones were amazing. Bathroom and showers were very clean and comfortable. I'd come back again here for sure. Thank you!
The room we booked in booking had one bed for two people, but we found that our room had two individual beds instead. I think that this may cause confusion to people who want to book rooms through booking.
