The room was huge with plenty of space of space to move around and pack. Location is amazingly close to old town square which is what I wanted for the Christmas markets. Checkin blonde lady was very very nice. I had emailed a few days before asking about easiest public transport to place since I have just injured my knee. Quick response but when I gave my name at arrival she had remembered me and worked with me on my injury (had to have 1 night top bunk but she moved me to a bottom bunk the other 3 nights, no extra charge), she even wrote a note for staff the next day. There is an elevator, small, but usually not busy.
The female dorm was completely separate from the bathrooms. You need to leave, cross a hall, and unlock a door to the common space/rooms. Then do it again when going back to room. This was extremely annoying for two reasons: (1) most of the time, the hall way light wouldn't go on. So middle of the night, you better bring your phone as a flashlight (once I forgot but luckily when I knocked there was someone in the kitchen that let me in; (2) female dorm got 4 keys with only one having anything on it to help on what door it goes to. Two of the keys are exactly the same. Sometimes I would have to try the same 3 keys twice until I got it. They could at least mark them in someway to make it clearer as the checkin woman told me sometimes she gets them confused too. Lastly, they lock reception door, even if there is someone (or TWO!) at the desk working. I already told you about the keys. Why the heck to they keep it locked when someone is there? Also, blood on mattresses. I'm a girl, I understand, but don't want to see it. Need to put sheets or something around the top mattresses so you can't see from the bottom.
Location, clean, friendly staff that were really helpful
Shared bathrooms, not many stayers to socialize with
No sink in bathroom
Everything was really good
The location is great, it is within the old town and just 5mins walk to the astromical clock. Alot of food options and mini mart around the area
