10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was great, we had the "best of the best" room. Service was superb.
Cons: Nothing specific to the hotel. Although the weather wasn't great so we didn't have the best view of the mountains.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Loved this hotel. The staff was amazing.
Cons: The spa and hotel staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is very good Service is excellent!! They gave us a room to luggage and take a shower after check out
10.0 Excellent
Pros: location, service, cleaneness and very good breakfest
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is amazing they take care of everything you need absolutely magnificent. The room was very good very clean and gorgeous view to the mountains.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. We arrived at 4am and David, the manager helped us get several hours of sleep even though our room wasn't ready. We eventually got a room upgrade in the morning, which was very clean and pampering. When we left on our way to the night bus, they allowed us to take showers, and even sent us off with 2 sandwiches so we don't get hungry on our comute. I cannot stress this enough - it's an excellent hotel!
Cons: NOTHING
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, in particular David the hotel manager. Location is central. Breakfast was superb
Cons: Note that family rooms do not have a view. Wasn't clear to me when I booked.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel with very helpful, friendly staff who treated us to a free room upgrade and complimentary bottle of local wine. The room itself was large and very comfortable and breakfast was good. It's well located in the town, just a 2 minute walk from the station for the funicular up to the cable car. They found us an excellent, English speaking local guide too for the trekking and sightseeing in the area.
Cons: The only negative - and to be fair it's something the hotel can do nothing about - was that when we stayed there (September 2019) there was a construction site directly opposite which began work at 6 AM. I will say, that's not as big a problem as you might imagine, as Sapa is a place for activities that typically have you up and out of bed early anyway.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great friendly and helpful staff, good location, they upgraded our rooms, took care of a late check out, very clean rooms and nice designed.
Cons: Breakfast could have more choices.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Managed to check in our room straight away 6 hours earlier than check in time. Greeted with local coffee and complimentary juice and pastry on arrival day. Breakfast delicious, great choice of food. Room had amazing view of the mountains and very clean. Staff could not be more attentive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Pros: The best host ever! Literally ran for us when we had a problem with the bus. Cleen and comfortable room, very cute daughters. The location is also absolutely amazing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, decent breakfast, nice laundry service (smells great!) but more than anything - everything said about Ms. Ha is absolutely correct - she is so far the most kind, attentive, helpful and caring person we have met in all of Vietnam. She truly wanted us to feel at home and enjoy sapa as much as possible! Thank you again Ms. Ha!
Cons: construction noises outside of the hotel. But this is a problem pretty much in all of sapa... The mattresses are pretty hard/stiff for our taste.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really nice. They kept our luggage while we were trekking. Really good breakfast from menu as your wish They give nice cup of coffee after check in
Cons: There was noise from the construction site nearby. There is no lift so we had to climb with out luggage to the 5th floor. The floor could be more clean. Room is pretty small but enough for a couple. Water flow was weak.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing! The location is great, the staff was so kind and nice and helped us anytime and the breakfast was very good!
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very very nice and helpful, they also made sandwiches for us for the road. The breakfast was very nice, you get a menu to order from.
Cons: We ordered a room with mountain view and instead we got a window facing a hotel with big neon sign. There was some mountain view behind it but it didn't look like the picture at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean, in a great location with great food. Most of all, was the customer service. Not just with us but we witnessed great customer service with other customers. She went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and to satisfy everyone’s needs. 10/10 will recommend to friends too.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. 9.2 Excellent
Pros: The property was nicely secluded which made it a great getaway. The view from the huts were amazing, overlooking the rice terraces. If you want a big bathtub with a great view of the mountain and field, get the suite with Mountain View. If you want to be directly over the terraces, get the bungalow. Food was tasty and nicely presented. The owners and staffs working there were extremely friendly. I’ll definitely stay here if I visit Sa Pa again.
Cons: The moment it gets dark, you’ll be greeted with some bugs in the hut. The staff will set up a bed netting in advance to keep them away, but this is something you need to be prepared for.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The fabulous view of the H’Mong Valley and the hospitality at this hotel are its main selling points. It is a bit outside of Sapa town, but that is part of its charm. The family that runs the hotel is lovely and so accommodating. They make their hotel feel like a home!
Cons: The rooms did not have closets or pegs for hanging clothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This place is beautiful and the owners really take care to create an ECO RETREAT. It is a fairly far trek out of Sapa town on an unfinished road, so I recommend using a local taxi and having patience. We came here after an attempt of a homestay that didn't go so smoothly, and it was a wonderful change. The food (much of which was from their own garden on the property) was some of the best that we enjoyed in Vietnam. The bungalow was just beautiful, and while there were many things to do, it was so peaceful just to sit on the balcony and enjoy the breeze. I wish we had stayed for more than one night!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly, observant and on their toes and provided telly good service. The homemade mango jam was excellent. The complimentary breakfast was really good, served fresh and made to order with a choice of several courses.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A million stars little retreat escape. Khanh and Hie husband and wife run the most beautiful Homestay in Sapa. So romantic, myself and my boyfriend Rowan we had an incredible time. The bungalows are absolutely beautiful, beautiful large bath tank, amazing views, super romantic, excellent food and the presentation is WOW, so much attention to detail, excellent service, excellent costumer service. Everything is just PERFECT. We had a wonderful herbal bath as well, with the special herbs and it felt really good for your skin and mind. I nearly left in tears. Also they are animal lovers and made this place even more special how they look after their beautiful dogs and puppies. We will be back. I can recommend this place with all my heart. Thank you so much for having us. Beatrice & Rowan
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The bungalow was really cosy and clean, with a stunning view. Food is really good too and the owners are very helpful. We had a great time!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners ensured amazing hospitality. They took extra effort to ensure that we are comfortable and where always willing to support. Food was great. Kids enjoyed playing with the puppies at the property as well as the space to play around. The view from the rooms was amazing and every fixture and seating were thoughtfully planned
Cons: Not any.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was absolutely spectacular! Our bungalow was beautiful. The food was amazing! We didn’t eat anywhere else. But the staff was the best part.... warm and welcoming!
Cons: Everything was perfect ... perhaps even better when the bumpy road is completely fixed.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here for 4 nights and we were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff were lovely, very polite, friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. We loved the food, there was nothing processed, it was all freshly prepared in the kitchen using local fresh produce. Breakfast was really good too, you could order as many different items from the menu as you wanted, the coffee was also very nice. The beds were comfortable and at night they would arrange the mosquito nets and fill the room with a fragrance of your choice. All in all we loved this place and we would definitely return.
Cons: The rooms were a little small with not much room to hang your clothes but don't let this minor detail put you off!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is so wonderful, good food, good view. U can just stay there whole day long to enjoy the tranquility of the environment. Not forgetting those adorable doggies. A sure must go for dog lovers
Cons: Maybe the light in the toilet can be brighter would be better as I prefer bright toilet.

7.5 Good
Pros: The location is nice and beautiful but most of the harvest was already done by the time we were there (mid september), so we were not able to enjoy the picturesque rice terraces. Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and nice.
Cons: The hotel is located an hour from Sa Pa town and the ride is extremely bumpy and uncomfortable which will make you tired. It was very hot there even though it is a mountainous region and the air conditioner only barely works. night time is ok however the day can get somewhat uncomfortable. For the amount of money they charge, we would expect stronger air conditioning. There is no wifi in the rooms. Overall we felt that the hotel was over priced for what they offer and there were much nicer hotels in Sa Pa town itself for much less money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the breakfast was amazing with loads to choose from, & exceptionally attentive & friendly staff, in beautiful surroundings with spectacular views
Cons: it was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Unique experience. The property offers great rooms, equipped and clean. The views from the balcony are absulutly wonderfull. The whole stay was great- from the infinty pool to the spa facility which is highly recommended too!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has a beautiful view. The infinity pool has amazing view. I love it ❤️. Recommend for who love to take a photo, you will have more photo to post on IG or Fb
Cons: The restaurant has a less menu. If have more shuttle bus to/from Sapa schedule, i will be better.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: the landscape, the situation, the relaxing aura... everything is perfect
Cons: we had a problem, someone stoled money from our room, and obviously it was imposible to get the money returned back... that was the worst experience at the hotel, but we know that these things sometimes happen
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breathtaking views all around you, amazing infinity pool, delicious breakfast and nice, spacious and clean rooms. The staff was also really helpful and kind and our overall experience was great!
Cons: Nothing really.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous location and beautiful short drive from Sapa! Owner was very friendly and helped me plan out an itinerary. She speaks good English and gave a little history about the region. The beds were super comfortable and the food was also amazing. What a beautiful view from the front porch and balcony! I only regret not staying longer.
7.9 Good
Pros: If you just want to stay there and rest, it's a really nice and peaceful place. In fact, you can even hear the sound of a stream behind the house when sleeping. In addition, from the house, you can see a breath-taking view of mountains and rice terraces. Furthermore, the employees were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Its location is quite far from Sapa (9km) and the road connected the 2 places is really bumpy and dusty, which makes it a pain to travel back and forth. In addition, you have to pay 75k each person to have access to the villages from the town, which is completely nonsense to me. The food prepared by the host was tasty but kind of pricy.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful stay. They kindly organized our transportation to and from the bus station and to our next stop. Generally the staff was simply wonderful and helped us with everything. The view is amazing and the waterfall is in walking distance.
Cons: Sadly there were a lot of ants on the wall of our bedroom and the bathroom floor was oftentimes a bit dirty but both these things didn’t really bother us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was really nice and helpful. Provided all the information about trekking paths, things worth visiting and even gave us all details about buses schedule for next destinations. Location is truly awesome, gives you real experience of Sapa region. Totaly worth going all the way from Sapa. Place is peaceful and quite with beautifull scenery.

Pros: Really nice view! Excelent staff.
Cons: There’s only one toilet but it’s always clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and helpfull People. Realy calm and beautiful area and the food was great. The price is cheap and the place is very clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Most friendly and helpful hosts so far. Lovely house with awesome views. Great little community around as well.
Cons: some of the plumbing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really delicious breakfast included in the highly affordable room rate. Friendly staff who's very helpful in getting taxis for us to go back into Sapa Town. Absolutely breathtaking nature and very quiet environment away from the backpacker-ish areas in the Sapa village.
Cons: No food options nearby except to order slightly overpriced (but very delicious!) food with the hostel. The room rate is really low to offset the costs of food though.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I was treated as part of the family. The nice of the owner, who was around all the time, spoke good English. She helped to arrange a lot of things for me. The room was clean, the bed met my expectations.
Cons: It is far from the city. A taxi driver asks me to pay 24$ to drive me to the place. I have rented a motorcycle to drive there myself for just 6$ a day. By the way, the roads are bad. The roads and the taxi driver have nothing to do with the place! Just mentioning it, to give a complete picture.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Literally everything else
Cons: Its quite remote in location Not many food choices

4.6 Okay
Pros: The garden very well take care by owner family. Their dogs very friendly, volunteer to be tour guide when walking around their garden.breakfast yummy.
Cons: Some offer not value for the money. Room not clean enough.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location! A couple of km out of town or a few minutes in a taxi (we used Grab a lot). It’s nice and quiet a big contrast from Sapa town, which is very noisy and busy. The room was big with a comfortable bed and a great view over the beautiful garden. Mr Nam was very helpful and made our stay perfect. Breakfast was something to look forward to cooked by Mr Nam’s mum and dad. We also had a meal there on the first night which consisted of about four courses I will highly recommend this place! We will be back next year!!
Cons: Everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Its location, staff and the food...all perfect! Recommend the place very much!
Cons: Nothing i can mention.
7.5 Good
Pros: We loved our stay at Sapa Garden Bed and Breakfast. It felt like a more upscale homestay than a hotel. The grounds were beautiful and the owner’s wife cooks amazing food for you upon request. It was very quiet there and I felt it was a retreat from being busy in Sapa town! The owner and his wife don’t speak any English, but their son Nam is there in the evening and can organize anything. He also responds to emails promptly. We hailed our own cabs using the grab app, which made getting on and off the property easy since we couldn’t communicate with the owners to get us a taxi. I recommend having your phone unlocked and getting a cheap cell service from viettel during your stay for purposes like this.
Cons: Although we enjoyed our stay, I would have appreciated standard toiletries in the room like shampoo/conditioner/body wash. We only found a small wrapped bar of soap. We typically stay in 4 star hotels, and although everything else was 4 star, I felt we should receive those same amenities since this is a nicer place to stay. Also, WiFi password being posted in the room would have been helpful. I just asked for it and then it was provided. Lastly, we chose this bed and breakfast because it was outside of the main part of Sapa town. It was my misunderstanding, but I thought it would be in the country rather than still feeling a little bit in town. Once you are on their property it is very secluded however. Those are minor details that didn’t hinder our experience. Other than that, our stay was perfect! I highly recommend it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property set in extensive landscaped gardens,it was a great place to stay with children, just outside the main town of Sapa. The rooms were well equipped and very comfortable. There was also a very nice common seating area.Breakfasts and dinners were home cooked and delicious.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fantastic, people, location, food. Beautiful room and facilities. Loved the meals cooked by the owners mother.
Cons: We didn't like leaving
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was perfect , my boyfriend love it.

Pros: Very beautiful, tranquil and serene place. Mr. Nam Hong is very helpful and kind, helped a lots with our trip in Sa Pa. He gave useful tips, suggestions and guidance about places to visit. During our stay, the family are very caring~ the breakfast is very generous and tasty :D
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was exactly what we saw on booking.com, clean, atmosphere was amazing, the owners were very accommodating and nice, breakfast was great. Overall wonderful experience we will be recommending this place to anyone visiting Sa Pa.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like, the place was beautiful and the owners were lovely!
7.5 Good
Pros: nice house and kind family, where you can stay outside in beautiful garden, and feel like you are part of the family
Cons: quite far from town : need a taxi whatever you want to do (or quite a walk...) The owner is very nice, but not the best in town to organize your tours or transfers.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very well situated to the centre of town ... just a five minute walk. Equally close to the station that you use to get to the cablecar. Plenty of restaurants near it. The hotel gives a perfect view of the mountains. I chose a city facing room, but if a mountain facing one isn’t too much more, maybe book it. The breakfast room and the balcony off it also give breathtaking views. It’s a cool modern hotel.
Cons: Nothing not to like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The lady on reception Orchid was so helpful, she arranged a private guide for a hike for us and also helped with the bus booking and a taxi to the bus station.

Pros: Location is amazing in the nature and rice fields Staff is very nice
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is perfect (much better than in Sapa village), nice view, staff very kind and supportive. Highlight our Hmong guide Su, she rules!
Cons: Rooms should be cleaned and very important, better isolated. When arrived after dinner, some bugs in our room, even we claimed because we saw 3 crickets. We got a room change, which us ok, but the point is that with better facilities it shouldn’t happen.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I will be back next year for sure! Thank you for taking care of me :)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location in Ta Van village - nice clean rooms - I enjoyed the view over the rice fields from my room’s window - nice common facilities, large communal space. Restaurant was very good and well- priced. Buffet breakfast (on some days only) was amazing. Some little attentions like fresh towels on our third night or complimentary fruit plater on some evenings made the difference. Very enjoyable stay - suitable for families
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The attention was very nice and they are very friendly. Also, the food is really tasty. On the other hand, I forgot my bag with my passport, credit card and some money at the restaurant Nhà Hàng Liên Tôn, these can be contacted with Tavan Ecologic Homestay, and they with us to return it to me to Hanoi by a bus . We are very grateful for this, we have been able to continue with our trip.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helped us book a bus back to Hanoi! The restaurant on site was good and affordable. Location was great, just a short walk to anywhere you’d want to be!
Cons: Breakfast was average, not many western options. Wifi was very inconsistent and there were noise issues with construction going on in the adjacent property
7.1 Good
Pros: The room with balcony at 7 floor is great! Great balcony, great view, very comfortable.
Cons: In order to reach the hotel you have to go upstairs in the street almost 3 floors. The staff help you with luggage but it is a mess as you arrive at the same time as a lot of people in a transfer provided by the hotel from Lao Cai. Besides on arrival, you must remain in a floor where cleaning is significantly not enough. Also you have a charge of 3% when paying with credit card, which it is not specified when you book on booking.com. But the worst for me was that the prices the hotel gives for services as taxis and tickets are almost double you get on the street.
4.2 Okay
Pros: It just takes 5 minutes walking to the center of city.
Cons: The restroom and the floor was so dirty. It did not have hot water to shower. I told them help me clean my room but they did not until I complained them again. The servise was bad.
7.9 Good
Pros: if u can give us room with balcony next time . ...::))

Cons: I booked online and was transferred to another hotel because their system was not updated in real time. The hotel where we were transferred had a terrible breakfast and was much cheaper compared to what I paid via hotels.com
7.0 Good
Pros: Very good location in the city centre. Room was old, but clean. Good breakfast. Possibility to rent a motorbike.
Cons: Older room, not so nice view through the window.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location, excellent statffs, good breakfadt
Cons: No security to reach rooms by EV(1~8th via reception at 5thfl) from out side
4.8 Okay
Pros: This hotel does a fairly decent job of managing individuals and groups beginning and ending tours in the area.
Cons: Breakfast was not very good. Bed was uncomfortable. Construction noise early morning to late evening but this is Sapa in general right now. Close to the center of town is about the only highlight. Many other choices in the area. This hotel is good for one night only to get your bearings in Sapa and move on to another place
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: The room was dirty, they didn’t clean it up before our arrival. The bed was unconfortable. There were insects inside the room
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The location... And that's it!
Cons: To be honest there wasn't nothing apart from the location that we liked. Let's start with the cleanliness, everything was so dirty and worn. The bathtub was dirty and there was mold on a dirty sticker sticked on the wall of the bathtub, the bed sheets were so dirty that we had to ask the staff to change them several times, all of them were stained. The towels were stained as well. We asked for an early check-in, but the room they gave us didn't have a proper window, which was completely different from the online pictures. We had to change rooms, meaning we had to wait for several hours more. The water pressure was also an issue. The breakfast was poor and there weren't many options for westerners. It was a really bad experience, after one night there we had to change to a different hotel room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: As we did not mentioned that we will arrive very early in the morning (06:30 AM) we very very much surprised to get already our room (early check-in) without any surcharge.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and willing to go the extra mile.
Cons: the muddy road track up the hotel was a big minus which was different from the pictures online. We booked the family suite which had 2 rooms n realized one of the room did not have air-conditioning or fan. It would be good to install one or indicate it in advance .

Pros: The staff is very friendly. They can show you how to move and everything when visiting here. Room is clean and quiet. Fully meet the needs of customers. I will recommend to my friends and relatives.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All I can say was perfectly amazing. It was a memorable experienced. I stayed here for just one night. When I arrived at this hotel the staff welcomed was very friendly. Ice lemon tea for the the welcome drinks. That was incredibly touching. It’s so refreshing. The dorm room was very clean and guess what it was really new. I’ve heard from Diem (host) that all the things are new. I’m so lucky that I’m the first backpacker stayed in this dorm room. The most highlight during my stay was the breakfast. Thanks to the couple named Rex&Rose for the simplest but healthily delicious breakfast. I will recommend this place to all my friends.
Cons: Nothing all was perfect!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Diem and her staff are wonderful hosts. Since we arrived there (early check-in), we were warmly welcome with local rose hot tea and breakfast. Diem know everything and it's easy to get information and guided from her. She helped to prepare us bottle of hot tea for going to Fansipan. Just wow! Even we stayed at Cat Cat Hotel for only 1 night before going to Ta Van village, it is an amazing experience for our first time at Sapa. The location is just perfect! Right in the heart of the town. Just 2min walking to the Sun Plaza for Fansipan ride and 15min walking to Cat Cat Village. The town and street is not much favourite, crowded and noisy but the atmosphere here is very friendly, warm and so fresh. There is open cement staircase to go to each room, so it is a bit unique hotel that has open view in heart of the town. In a clear day (luckily we have), there is great moutain view in the floor 3 and floor 4 bacony you would like to check and take photos. The room is very clean and well facilitated. The staff is much helpful in room service we need. The food is also good. Beside breakfast included, I also have fine dinner and drink there as there is a bar restaurant in 1st floor. Last but not least but worth to mention that Diem and her staff is well English speaking and friendly to chat. :)
Cons: Nothing! Everything was amazing and exceeded my expectations.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff is really friendly and helpful! They fixed all our minor problems very quickly and helped us with bus tickets
Cons: Had some problems with the hot water
7.9 Good
Pros: The space of the room and the balcony area was nice!
Cons: The bed and pillow were a bit hard. Was a bit warm at night too as electricity got cut off and there’s no small window for the wind/ cold air to come in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Can’t recommend this place enough - Rex and the staff were so helpful with everything - we had issues with our motorbikes when we arrived and they organised mechanics spoke great English they did our washing very quickly and just very helpful with everything would rate higher than 10 if I could!
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast is payable separately. The location should go up a lot of stairs. There is no good memory. I did not choose well. But you must choose carefully.
Cons: There is no good memory. Not recommended The reason is, firstly, I can not sleep because of the sound of the motor pump. Secondly, it's so painful to lie down in bed because of the smell of moisture and mildew. So I switched to the next room but couldn't sleep because of the same environment. So I had to go to another hotel to pay my accommodation. I don't seem to manage the room. I hope you will not suffer the same damage as me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: - Super friendly and helpful staff. Giving tips on where to visit, eat, drink etc. - Clean, big rooms. - Free toiletries and water. - Really good location, away from the main square but close to bars and restaurants. - Really decent food and portions for very good price. - Cute cat
Cons: - Bins in the room and bathroom could have been changed during our 3 night stay. - Mattress was pretty hard - Wifi was quite poor. Extremely temperamental.

Staff very caring and lovely offering ginger tea and garlic wine when I was unwell, so nice of the lovely lady. Speak very good English too!
Cons: The property was a little old,but for us this added to the charm. Staff forgot to clean our room after first night, but cleaned it as soon as they were informed so wasn’t a problem really.would still recommend staying here!!
7.1 Good
Pros: The view from the balcony is lovely. The staff was helpful. The hot shower was great after a day of trekking. The location is very convenient. The breakfast was tasty.
Cons: The smell comimg from the bathroom was awful. The rooms are a bit outdated and could use some renovations.

Pros: Great views. Staff were helpful.
Cons: We decided to splash out a little for the Cat Cat View Hotel's views and we took the VIP suite, which had the best view of all. The view was indeed great but the room seemed a little dingy for the price and nothing special.

6.3 Good
Pros: The beds were very comfortable. The people at the desk were nice, but a definite language barrier was there.
Cons: Breakfast was pretty lousy. It is on such a busy, broken down, narrow street that the minute you step out, you're in danger of being hit by a car, bus or motorbike. Sapa, in general, is where everything sad about mass tourism comes to life. The infrastructure is horrible. Beneath beautiful views are pipes dumping raw sewage into construction zones. Honking horns and crowded streets await you. There is no sidewalk and every type of motor vehicle comes inches from you while honking it's horn. And construction zones are EVERYWHERE. However, the surrounding areas of countryside around Sapa are beautiful. It is possible to find a restaurant with a gorgeous view and if you can look past the town to the incredible views, it's ok. Hotels that are understaffed and not complete are open everywhere. Rent a motorbike and get out of the city!!
6.7 Good
Pros: View was amazing with the balcony view. Aside from that it was very basic. But the bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Cleanliness wasn’t great and staff came into our room a few times without knocking which was a bit unsettling. Language barrier didn’t help cuz they couldn’t properly explain why they came in so we were confused.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Mountain view and location
Cons: Not clean and communication difficult

Cons: Really amazing stay, very nice view, cool room, very quiet and the staff was super amazing and helpful they help me with everything I need which really made me feel at home. I would always go there if going to Sapa
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view is stunning, the staff is super helpful and cute. I was sick and they made me ginger tea! The breakfast is really good too
Cons: If you mind noise, there’s a bar in front of the hotel; the music stops around 00h
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff was enthusiastic and very friendly. Great view and very close to everything.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Awesome breakfast, great location with a beutiful view
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Really enjoyed my stay here! The staff was lovely and the breakfast was good. Most days there was a small buffet but staff was accommodating when it was not available. The view over the mountains from the balcony was stunning! The room was pretty clean and only a little small- better for one person than two, perhaps. A really great location for trekking as it was on the road out to many villages. Lots of nice restaurants and cafes on the road as well. I’d recommend this hotel over ones that are in the center of Sapa town. Still close to everything, but a bit more quiet with amazing views.
Cons: The karaoke club across the street was at times quite loud- but this never lasted far into the night and I got used to it quickly.

Pros: Clean spacious room with kind staff. Nice air conditioning.
Cons: BREAKFAST: worst juice ever. Towels were cheap and only one was provided.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location is quite good beside that need to walk up the slope, and the hotel is comfortable to stay
Cons: The staff not really friendly. I ask for the opinion to get a transport service to the bus station, advise to take taxi ard 30k. I book from grab, the Grab driver raise up the price, ask me to pay for 50k, the rate quote by grab was 20-22k. I am shock how can the grab driver just Double up the price. I ask the staff is that normal, she told me that is normal, if she call a cab run meter the price will be ard 50k, at first she told me 30k, what the... end up I insist to ask her book me a taxi charged by meter, the cab fare end up is 23k. The price is double, I knew mayb u will think that 23k VND is not a lot, but the staff not telling the truth, just perfunctory answer. This make me feel upset
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms with good views. Ladies at reception very friendly and efficient. Nice breakfast
Cons: Arrived early morning with overnight sleeper bus and only person at reception an exceptionally rude youngster. Because of a mud slide which destroyed the road the hotel cannot be accessed by car. Be prepared to climb a lot of steps and ask a member of staff to carry your luggage up and down. The hotel failed to mention the issue of accessibility during the booking process.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Despite the noise, comfortable bed. Big clean room & bathroom. Great view. Friendly staff. Good location.
Cons: The bed would get noisy when you move.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Room was large and extremely comfortable. Location close to some great restaurants and centre of town. Staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast fine. Shower and bathroom good. Able to leave bags after early train and bus arrival from Hanoi. Would strongly recommend Le Petit Gecko restaurant near steps from main street.
Cons: I would definitely book and stay there again. However, their access road is out of operation (through no fault of the hotel's) so you have to walk up around 100 stairs from the main road to access the hotel. So if you are unfit, injured, etc, give them a ring and they will send a motor bike down for you and your luggage. But you have to navigate the stairs each time if you are walking around town. We were fine with it (59 yr olds) but just something for others and their physical condition to consider. Also, no elevator in the hotel so again, if unfit or injured get a room on level 4 or 6 (less stairs), but you will miss out on the best views across Sapa. We had room 801 (Deluxe Double) and best view of any room (701 would have a reasonable view as well)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very helpfull lady behind the reception. Always willing to give us some advise. We got upgraded since we are travelling with our daughter. The room had plenty of space to play in. Fruit at the breakfast was so lovely. Great location in Sapa town. Close to restaurants but not too busy when you step out of the hotel.
Cons: Only a few staff members spoke good English. The rest seemed to have trouble to understand even bodylanguage. Staff using their phone is very common in Vietnam but I just really think it's not professional at all... There are roadworks next to the hotel so the taxi couldn't stop in front of the place. We had to carry our luggage. To go to the centre you need to walk some steep stairs. I kind of liked it as excercise. Breakfast options were ok. But the fried egg tasted too greasy for my taste.
7.1 Good
Pros: The staff was really nice and the beds were soft:)
Cons: There was a lot of noice due to the construction side next to ot. The workers stopped at 23.00 and started again at 5.00. The rooms Look nicer on the pictures.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: the view from the room.
Cons: when we stay at hotel next to hotel was construction...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: In Vietnam, I have stayed in over 50 hotels in the last five years and most have pleasant staff but the staff at the Elite went an extra mile. The room was big and the extra king size bed was very comfortable. An fireplace was a nice extra.
Cons: The bath room was very narrow, no more than one meter. This made going to toilet very difficult and entering and existing the shower very cumbersome.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location - superb! Staff, facilities, cleanliness - could NOT have asked for more... THE VIEW - STUNNING! We ended up staying longer than we had initially booked!
Cons: The road was under construction when we were there, so we had to take the stairs from the main street up - it was only a problem when we first arrived and we had to carry all our luggage up after an 8 hour bus, other than that it was fine!

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was big
Cons: There are too many constructions near the hotel and also the hotel is also working on expansion, so it noisy. Sapa was cold when i was there, temp dip below 6 degree C at night. The aircon heater was not large enough to heat up the room, also the old heater in room are not working, so the room was too cold. Also they don't provide portable heaters for the room. The room was too cold. I wonder what will be like if we visit the place in Dec and Jan it will be even colder and the room will be freezing. The hotel manager should consider better heating for the room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are spacious and better than expected. Staffs are friendly and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had a wonderful experience at Bamboo Sapa Hotel. All the staff was really friendly and helped us and recomended us a very nice route around the villages and waterfalls around sapa. The hotel is perfect, the room was amazing with perfect views of the mountain, everything very clean. Perfect stay in Sapa.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were helpful and assisted me with a bus booking and taxi to the bus station when my previous plans went awry.
Cons: I stayed at the original Bamboo Hotel Sa Pa and was disconcerted that the old charming hotel has been replaced by a new edifice. Breakfast was in an interior room instead of on the terrace, overlooking the valley and mountains, like before. It's still under construction, so when finished things might change.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable, good employee
Cons: The air conditioner not cold, its very hot at night
4.2 Okay
Pros: the view from the swimming pool and the room was great.
Cons: The service from all staff, they take action of every request very slowly even just a simple request and hard to communicate with, maybe it’s because of the language barrier. More importantly, whenever you settle the bill with the hotel carefully recheck your charge as it happened to me twice, they over charge the bill. Plus, the errors that happened to me countless times. Not a big problem but small things that should not happen from a hotel whose work professionally. All in all, those errors have wasted my time and ruin my trip to go to Fansipan, I need to cancel it otherwise I won't have enough time to settle the bill with the hotel.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: I did not like much as I was mislead regarding major topic: 1.elivator was under maintenance all long our stay 2.the hotel is under reconstruction /expansion - very noisy from early morning to the night 3.old magnetic keys to the room.. More than once we had to climb to the fourth floor.. And then back to reception to change the key 4.the pictures that are presented as the facilities.. Not updated. For example.. The nice balcony viewing the mountain.. Is not relevant as it is under construction Etc..
Cons: See above
5.4 Okay
Pros: There is a heater on bed prepared.
Cons: 1. Staff miscalculated the rate. 2. Some staff can't speak English, we almost missed the train and flight to Da nang because she didn't book the minibus for us to go to the train station. 3. The water in the hotel suddenly stopped while I was using water. They said 1 hour fixed. 4. Rather expensive comparing with other hotels because you have huge room and was the most expensive hotel we chose for our trip, but you charged us for the extra bed for the child, while other smaller hotel didn't!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, comfortable room, excellent view and very professional staff.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Rooms size
Cons: When we arrived we were told that the elivator is under maintenance for all our stay(our roomscwere at floor 4}. The hotel is under an expansion project, it was very noisy all long the day from early morning to the night. In one of the days when we returned afternoon from our tour, we could not enter the room-there was electric break (only at this hotel.. All around business had electricity power}. This power problem last for an hour. The pictures I could see in Booking regarding this hotel were misleading. For example.. The big balcony viewing the mountains is not existing as it is under reconstruction.

7.1 Good
Pros: Lovely views and good location.
Cons: Everyone is allowed to wear shoes inside so everything gets dirty quickly, especially the bathrooms. It would be great if the hostel provided indoor slippers like other hostels in Vietnam.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Friendly staf. Good location.
Cons: We booked the hostel on a saturday night. Apperently locals from all villages come to sapa to party on saturday. We booked a mixed dorm, unlucky for us there were 5 very unapproriate old Vietnamese guys with us in there. (We are tree young european girls and they made comments and made pictures of our legs because we were wearing shorts) We were very uncomfortable. But we got that this is one of the disadvantages of booking a mixed dorm room. Afterwards we noticed that our bunk beds didnt have a matres. Only a blanked that should serve as a matras. After asking the reception, the lovely lady from the hostel moved us to a prived room. Which had mold on the walls, pee on the toiletseat, no mirror, really bad matrasses, loud music in the morning and kids screeming. The breakfast was present but very minimal (egg, Bread , butter & paté) not really what is advertised on booking. Although, the staff was nice & helpfull, we were happy to get out and definelty would not recommend.
7.9 Good
Pros: Central location. Good size room, and the bed had an electric blanket which is a great addition. The shower has really hot water and good water pressure. Mrs Moon who run the place is very pleasant and gratious, and really helpful. The Breakfast was nice as well.
Cons: The matress in the room was too old. You can really feel the springs as you lay on it, which made it hard for us to get a good night sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great service, yummy breakfast, excellent facilities!
5.0 Okay
Pros: The few good things: location, easy to get around Sapa town from here. Breakfast ok. Only one night here so we dealt with these issues, if more nights I would've asked to be moved.
Cons: For $25USD per night we were expecting much better. It was so noisy not only from outside the hotel but also inside. We were on the 1st floor, the "quiet zone" but this is also above the bar and reception downstairs. The noise carries through the large stairway beside it, at all hours of the day and night. Our room was attached to the rooftop balcony thing, which other rooms could also access. Our windows and door that connected to this didn't lock properly and made me feel quite paranoid about people getting into our room. This room doesn't have aircon and the staff member said we could open our windows to cool down- as mentioned before, it was an open rooftop with other people also having access, no thank you! The curtains were gross and dirty with spiders in them. There was a sizeable hole in the wall. Beds were not comfortable and the pillows were more decoration than for sleeping. At least two of the lights weren't working, one didn't even have a light bulb in it. Staff: move your quiet rooms away from all the noise! Make sure windows and doors lock. Repair damage to the rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cheap bed dorm but comfortable with good breakfast, friendly staff. I will come back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel in center of Sapa walking street Cau May, private room mountain view & bed dormitory, tour & ticket organizers. Friendly staff, comfortable stay, good home cooking food at economical price... Recommend.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: We chose this hostel through booking because of the location close to the hostel. However the address was wrong, it is not close at all to the bus station. People working there offer us the taxi but I couldn t say they are especially nice or anything else. The room has moistures. No locker for the bathroom.

Cons: Beds were not comfortable but it was heated.

Pros: Don't understand the bad press on this hotel. They had big beds, hot showers, comfortable atmosphere and friendly workers. No it's not European cleanliness but it's not in Europe so.....
Cons: The hotel itself could do with a scrub.

Pros: Good value for money, the staff were helpful and friendly, nice views and location
Cons: The room and bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Big comfortable beds. Hot showers. Nice quiet area. Friendly staff.
Cons: Place needs a bit of dusting. Little bit of a walk out of town.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Had it booked for 2 nights and only stayed the first night as I arrived at 3am. Moved to another hostel which said it was a luxury hotel 15 years ago. I don’t think they’ve redecorated since. Dated and needs a good clean.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: There was electricity.
Cons: Breakfast, cleaning, upkeep, stale cigarette smell, MISSING glass in window, cold water, need I go on?
4.6 Okay
Pros: large size bed, location not bad and I liked the table pool. maybe place good for 1-2 nights if you are on low budget.
Cons: when I arrived my bed was used, dirty, so I asked for new sheets (also not very clean) they changed it. matress really soft, sponge one, not comfy, room not clean especially under the beds, behind them and bathrooms very dirty. Found a coackroach in the room. Staff at the reception speak not very good english. Lockers in the room doesn't have keys, and you can't put your own padlock , so they are completely useless. I understand place is cheap.. but a little bit cleaning is just a must!

Pros: Staff are nice, comfort bed. When i asked for help, they were willing to satisfy my requests. The first room has some smells and they changed for me the new one. Thank you
5.8 Okay
Pros: Our room was large with a large window. The bed was really big & comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Staff were polite & pretty friendly. Location was really good for us. We enjoyed the pool table and some beers one evening.
Cons: There was a very big tree blocking the entire 'mountain view'. We had laundry done here and it was very wet when we got it back, although the staff did put it back in the dryer. The worst thing here was that it was very dirty, and looked as though the room had not been properly cleaned in years. There was an old used toothbrush left in the bathroom. We also had an unwelcome visit from a cockroach one night. One of the grimiest places we've stayed unfortunately, and we're not that fussy.
