It had a very welcoming feel the minute we walked through the door ,so clean and fresh looking. The staff were so helpful the food hot and fresh .
The only thing I would say is the standard rooms are quite small so would ask for a larger room in future.
15 years since I'd paid a very brief visit to Scarborough and booked a 3 x night visit. Price, location and dedicated car park all drew me to your establishment and met all expectations.
The location is lovely and quiet, and there is plenty of free, unrestricted street parking if the car park is full. A taxi to town costs about £6. The staff are really friendly and I was very impressed with the leisure facilities (pool, jacuzzi and sauna) for a relatively small hotel. My room was a good size for a single, very comfortable, and the ensuite was sparkling clean. The bar is reasonably priced, and there's a nice outdoor terrace you can sit on to admire the sea view. The restaurant menu looked to have a lot of variety, there is also a games room where you can entertain yourselves.
Hoovering started a bit early for me, and there were a couple of lightbulbs out in my room, which I didn't mind, and could probably have been replaced had I asked.
over priced.pubes on edges of pool.used condom in bathroom.
Good location, pleasant friendly staff, and decent car parking in and around the hotel. The spa facilities looked very good, but we never actually used them.
The room was dated, and for the money I expected more facilities, and more space. We paid extra for a front facing double room, but the room we were given was a triple which contained an extra single bed, thus restricting the space. Also, there were no bedside tables, and no drawers in the room. We were also disappointed at breakfast to learn that there were no fresh berry fruits left, even though we went down at 8-45, and breakfast is served until 9-30. Surely they know how many guests will be having breakfast, so there is no reason to run out of anything.
