Pros: This is my second visit to Padma Bandung. Fantastic room and surrounding, I got upgraded room and they gave a welcoming babymoon dessert, which was a nice touch. Great service and staffs were all very friendly and accommodating. Amazing choice of food for breakfast. Would definitely come again in the future.

Pros: I book the room for 4 person (not the standard room for 2 person with extra bed or breakfast!), but when I check in in the room, all the toilettries, towels, water, slippers provided only for 2 person. We must call the reception 4 times to get our needs because they take more than 30 minutes to send to our room. We check in later about at 8.30 pm buat they don't recheck the room facilities although they have much time to recheck that. It's useless they use customer relations via messaging service to reconfirm my arrival, but they don't care the guest at all. it's not the Hilton standard that I hope find in this hotel. The only thing we enjoy the room is comfort bed & pillows. Breakfast & swimming pool are standard, nothing special.

Cons: the hotel was quite full on the weekend, we felt the breakfast time was a bit chaos, its difficult to get coffee, clean glass etc..... the pool is nice but there's no swimsuit policy applied, you can jump in wearing anything you want, smoking on the pool deck is allowed, imagine it during high occupancy time.... it really felt like swimming in the hostel'pool instead of 5stars hotel. we've visited several intercontinental hotel in other cities and/or countries before, but this one in Bandung's should pay attention in several discipline issues.

Cons: My first stay at Hotel Intercontinental, first impression good hotel. I got upgraded immediately without requesting room upgrade. I thought it was so nice. I got to the room and went for lunch at Damai restaurant. My friend ordered Lamb Curry and I had oxtail fried rice. We waited for more than 1 hour to have our meals. The oxtail fried rice was ok but then the Lamb Cuury tasted horrible. After finished lunch then we went back to the room and found the room was hot. The temperature was about 17 degrees already. Then I asked to change to another room, things look OK. Then my friend planned to have a dip in the bathtub then the knob fell off. I had to call the receptionist to repair it. My friend and I was unhappy by then. About 20.00 then my room was being knocked, the hotel gave us fruits to apologize for the inconvenience. That was nice

Cons: We've a secured a booking, looking for non smoking floor, separate room to have peace and quiet, unfortunately every nite we are still encountered very strong smell of smoking, but the window in front of our room in the hall helped. a bit with the over powering odour I would suggest to double check with us before our stay due to our problems with asthma hence can't be around in a smoking floor.

Pros: The receptionist was very friendly and helpful when I asked for an upgrade. And they did that very quickly. Breakfast selections were good. My only complaint was some of the apples weren’t fresh. Great location. Very comfy bed and very clean.

Cons: Egg making is separated by food display ready for consumption. So people when ordering and taking their egg may infect the food display with their ‘saliva spray’ or may touching the food with they have loose clothes ( woman ). It’s not your fault as it is a design flaw, but you may consider a solution.

Cons: The main issue is the noise. One side of the building is facing 3 mosques, so almost impossible to sleep after 5 am due to the early morning pray. The other side of the building is facing the train track so every 10 minutes you hear the train horn and also there is a Disco really close with techno music really loud until 4am so it's impossible to sleep at night. In the other hand I had a really good dinner at the restaurant the Singaporean crab was amazing

Cons: My previous visit was several years ago where this hotel was one of the best. So I had chose this hotel and found an old hotel which probably never been updated. The room, carpet, bed, odors were definitely unpleasant. Room size is big but the bed size and quality were no-no for me.
I didn't use any other facilities except the restaurant where we had a so-so breakfast.

Had some electrical issues with the room, one of the lights wasn’t able to be turned off, so the electrician had to come in and basically took off the entire lights. Pros: This is a historic hotel building and a great destination hotel. It is owned by the Indonesian central bank and they have kept it in beautiful condition. Cons: Open type bathroom (no wall between bathroom area and bedroom) is not suitable for staying with friends - not free to use bathroom. Shower is separated to closet - there's exhausted fan in the shower, but not in the closet area, which make the closet room is stinky after you use it. I stayed in the hotel for city big event, i.e. Bandung Marathon. I think the hotel gave low support for the event, as they did not give chance for late check out. I understood that it's hotel sole right to make the late check out decision, but during once a year city big event like this, hotel must flexible enough and support this event. I saw most of guests during my stay period were runners coming from out of city. As the hotel gave strict rule that people must check out by 12.30 - while the marathon finished by 12.00. Many of runners were not fast runner, when they finished by 12.00, they had to come back fast to hotel to check out. I've tried to talk about this to front office manager, but he did not want to understand. Disappointed.

But turned out they didn't prepare my room until 15:00++ i waster 1hr 30min just waiting at the lobby, the staff was not helpful at all when we follow them up asking when our room will be ready? They keep saying soon soon soon and give fake promises. In the end I choose to not leave the reception table until I got my room key and refuse to go back to lobby's sofa because they will just ignore me again if I did that. But one thing I am most disappointed is when the receptionist calls the room service department to follow up my room condition, she refer us like this "Tolong diusahain cepet ya, soalnya tamunya pengen banget masuk nih." And I was like, hey Miss, I waited for 1hr 30min++ when you should've finished preparing my room before 14.00, yet you refer me as "tamunya pengen banget masuk" while that's clearly my rights to check in at 14.00! Hotel facility wise is also terrible, not enough elevator for this big hotel so we walked down from 12th floor using emergency staircase because we hate to waste our time again just for this stupid hotel with poor management. Also they seems like not cleaning the air conditioner regularly because I was coughing in the middle of the night while sleeping but not coughing at all when I leave the room in the next morning.

Also, no iron or fridge available in the standard rooms!
