Nice plscePros: Jean the hostess was wonderful, and there were a bunch of backpackers there with cool stories to share. Stayed up for hours chatting. The rooms are alright and the bathroom is on par for a hostel. Great location in the city 3 minutes from the metro and airport bus stops, and 2 minutes from a night marketCons: There was a slight odor in the building but that seems pretty typical for asia.
The pros & cons of Bunc HostelPros: Its like staying a 4 star hotel even at times the rates goes up like crazy. Its value for the money. Staffs are friendly but at times some are moody. Cons: The guest thinks they own the hostel. Very arrogant & high ego. They wont even wash their own dishes. Depending on cleaners to do for them. They create a lot wastage of food especially during breakfast & dinner. Dump it all in the sink which will clog up the flow.
Good value for money. You get what you pay for.Pros: The rooms are clean and the bathrooms as well. The beds are comfortable, too. The staff can comprehend English very well. The location is very good; accessible to train stations and malls. The breakfast is okay. It's enough since i am not a "breakfaster" but i like their coffee. There are actually lockers but they are hidden away.Cons: The maintenance crew for the bathrooms are rude as hell. They blasted the floor with water attempting to clean it when I was still brushing my teeth. I swear I could have snapped their heads off. As for the lockers, the staff did not inform us about their availability. I found it about it when i roamed around the vicinity. As for your roommates, it will depend. If you do not like body odor, hope that you do not get into a room with someone who has and be sure you don't have it, too.
