Hotels are meant to be accommodating, i stayed at two other hotels on trip on japan and they allowed me to check in early as the room was ready. I came off a on vernight bus with barely any sleep. I arrived at 9am and was not allowed to check in even though the room was ready, if i wanted to it would have cost me 3000 yen. Do you honestly have to get every bit of money out of your customers. We had tk wait out and sleep on the foyer while we waited till 4pm. No the most pleasant neighbourhood around either. The thing the holds the shower head was coming out of the wall and the wallpaper was ripped. There are much better hotels for the same price range.
Near station and pepper lunch
They made the room up daily
The room is a literal shoebox. It is so small. The room was so hot during the mornings and we were told they don’t have aircon by the staff.
Staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful, service was fantastic. Location very convenient - close to metro and a short walk to the main Shinjuku station. Easy to get to lots of Tokyo's main attractions as well as Shinjuku's popular bars and restaurants. Room included compliment amenities such as tea and toiletries which was nice.
Bathrooms and rooms very small - we could barely open our suitcases.
