8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts are very friendly and helpful with beach chairs, towels, umbrellas and calling taxis! Only a few minutes to a nice beach and to the restaurants! We sometimes made a bad experience:Cafe del Mar ran out of coffee and bread when we wanted to eat breakfast, some restaurants were closed on January 1st! All restaurants are very very expensive!!!
Cons: It is very expensive!
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Steve and Niki are awesome people-- very warm, easygoing, and helpful. Be sure to rent one of their bikes and explore the areas outside of Esperanza.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a great time at The Vieques Guesthouse! Steve and Niki made sure we had everything we needed at all times, and helped us even after we had checked out. If they wouldn't have been booked we would have stayed there more nights. We definitely recommend staying here!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the Vieques Guest House. We were met by Niki, who showed us to our beautiful room overlooking the ocean. Our room was tastefully decorated with everything we needed. There was so many small details provided, luxurious towels, microwave, small refrigerator, AC, very comfortable memory mattress, hammock on the porch, continental breakfast, coffee, snorkeling gear etc...They recommended restaurants for us to try, and secured a taxi to the ferry terminal. This is a very special place, somewhere you can truly relax. We will look forward to our next visit, thank you!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous place on the south coast of the island . Sandy clean beach two minutes walk from the house, big waves and magnificent sunset . Usually no one person on the beach for all day! May be several people are on Sun beach and no one on Navio beach. Fabulous guesthouse concrete building with amazing soundproofing. Very quiet air conditioning. We never knew whether he worked or not until you look at him. Professionally equipped gym. Beach equipment is free and this is the good expensive equipment . Getting clean linen and towels every day when you come back from the beach is very nice. Breakfast was good . Owners of house Steve and Nikki are very very kind persons. We were not experts in spoken English but we had no lack of information. They always helped us with any transfers and booking tour. I wish I could visit this place again!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hosts! They are ready to help 24/7. Thank you so much for beach towels, chairs and good coffee. Room was always very clean. Towels're changed every day without request.
Cons: One personal issue I had during our vacation was a cry of roosters and dogs barking. But I think it's not a problem of this guesthouse but commom for Vieques in general.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and tidy. The best part is everyday cleaning and free beach chairs (& snorkel gears).
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Just an overnight stay, but located VERY close to one of the best beaches in SJ. Very nice pool with parking and great staff.
Cons: could hear airplane noises, but you will hear them in this area everywhere.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good host couple. Free snacks, coffee as breakfast, free beach supplies. Not far away are supermarkets and beaches. It's convenient to go to the seaside in the morning.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very clean.
Cons: The rooms had no clock, phone, or TV
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotels decor and style far exceeded my expectations. The room was beautiful, the patio and pool were lovely, and the malecon across the street was lovely. The air-conditioning in the room worked great, shower was awesome with great pressure and nice and hot if you wanted it. The hotels not on the beach, but if you have a car (which you should) you’ll be driving to them anyways. Breakfast was nice to have included, although it was small and simple. I loved the snack bar and ability to write your room number down. The entire staff was awesome and so helpful and friendly.
Cons: I loved everything, but if I had to be nit picky, I wish the beach towels were bigger and I wish the gate was electric. It was a pain to open and shut it every time I came and went in my car, especially since I was alone. But the staff would close it behind me if they were outside and saw me leaving. I wish breakfast was a little bigger.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Front desk! They are the great advisors for your trip and everything is perfect. Like you can enjoy the wine at 4:00 and have a sweet breakfast in the morning! They are not advertising but they are actually the best options in this island. Super cozy and safe.
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect Location. Amazing, helpful staff. Comfiest beds. Delicious breakfast. Couldn’t have asked for more! We will he back
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and staff were really helpful and accommodating. Right next to the beach and food/drink options. Room spacious and comfortable and we got upgraded to a room with a terrace which was really nice. Pool area is nice, and it was great to have beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and coolers for us to use while waiting for our room to be ready because we arrived before check in time.
Cons: Breakfast could be a little better and the rooftop could be a little nicer/better maintained/more inviting.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, welcoming, great complimentary breakfast. The host was very accommodating --give her a RAISE! ha......
Cons: Pool looked a little 'tired'......It would be helpful to put lights up around the perimeter & gravel paths. Wish the pool was open later. Overall, a wonderful and delightful stay
Bravo Beach Hotel - Vieques - Building

9.3 Excellent (105 reviews)
S$ 274+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Bravo Beach Hotel in Vieques (Isabel II), you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Vieques Ferry Terminal and Leeward Islands. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The view is great. From my room the large window directly show the ocean front. There are also two deep swimming pools; one of them seems to be 25m long and is of athletic standard! Plants around the building are nicely arranged which make technically a nice garden. The location is close to the town and the harbor. Neighborhood is all local people which gives us interesting experience of the local culture. They also provided beach chairs and floaters which made it very convenient for beach visits.
Cons: Room service was not good. They seemed to only make the bed. They did not refill the shampoo; nor did they clean the hairs in the bathroom. One day they even forgot to empty the trash bin.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean beautiful location. Good simple breakfast with delicious fresh fruit Very low key and quiet. Carl and Janna are great hosts
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, pool and accommodating owner.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great personal service, buildings with character, not a chain hotel
Cons: It was all good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hands down the staff was the best part. Chad was so friendly and helped us figure out where to go and what to do. The beds were comfortable and had things to do in walking distance. Chairs and coolers were available and it really came in handy. Parking was a breeze and the pool was large.
Cons: I was expecting more of a luxury stay instead of a local gem the pictures are nicer than things appear. While I was wrong and it was far from a luxury resort it was perfect for what we needed! It fit the area and a resort would have ruined the local way of life. Laid back relaxed and what you need.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great view from the room! Very close to ferry station.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Pool by the beach
Cons: Lots of ants by the breakfast table
Esperanza Inn - Vieques - Building
4
9.0 Excellent (280 reviews)
S$ 142+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Esperanza Inn in Vieques, you'll be near the beach, within a 10-minute drive of Bioluminescent Bay and Leeward Islands. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-out, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was homey and welcoming! Great little pool and pretty garden (with cool birds and iguanas), communal areas inside and out to relax, get breakfast, and hang out. Excellent location, just off the main drag in Esperanza. Convenient to walk to beaches, bio-bay pick-ups, and restaurants, but not next to the loudest areas at night. Friendly staff, and room was simple, but with everything you might need. Kitchen available to guests and breakfast included. We were offered an early check in (which was a bonus, since we got there on the early ferry). We found this the perfect place for us on this quick trip to Vieques.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Community area is open and airy and colorful and fun. The rooms are what one would imagine in Vieques: comfortable and warm. This is not a luxurious resort as Vieques is not about luxury or being catered to. Esperanza Inn matches the simplicity, joyful, and honest beauty of the island perfectly. The hosts are pleasant, helpful and have attractive spirits. Good vibes all around.
Cons: If you don’t like island noise—early morning roosters and late night Latin music in the streets, you may want to vacation elsewhere. I’ve been home for 24 hours and already miss the sounds of Esperanza
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice big room.
Cons: Very noisy farm animals
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lisa and J are great! They were very welcoming and the room/location were both excellent. They even accommodated us for a second night which we didn't expect could happen considering we only booked one night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, had everything u needed to enjoy beach life, walking distance to all the restaurants very centric - good value!
Cons: We pretty much got all we needed and wanted - maybe that we could not extend our stay - they were booked!
6.0 Good
Pros: cute, Comfy beds, Nice location, much quieter than main drag. chickens are cute
Cons: Lots of mosquitoes around common areas and in the room when a/c wasn’t on.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts are wonderful, and helpful. The room was great, and well stocked with plush new towels. The location right at the end of the malecon is convenient to everything, but quiet at night. The pool is clean and relaxing, and there is a great view from the roof. There is always ice in the freezer for your water bottles! If you are an animal lover like us, this will be the best room you will ever book. There are a number of rescued kitties on the property that will hang out with you or give you your space if desired. We also had the honor of meeting the local pig from up the street, and the occasional wandering horse.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: They even let us in before the check in time
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place in Esperanza! We loved our stay at villa coral. The room was super clean, the provided beach towels and a cooler, the entire staff was very kind and helpful. A bit of a walk (maybe 10 minutes uphill) from the malecón, but well worth it to have the breeze on the balcony (we loved sitting out there to drink coffee) and such wonderful lodging.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfy, the shower was nice, and the outdoor common space was a great spot to relax in the evening!
Cons: The pillows were a bit too firm for much liking
7.1 Good
Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and spent the time to take us through a map of the island and point out some of the best beaches and other points of interest. The room was a decent value.
Cons: Our room had tiny ants, which of course we realize may be due to a prior guest leaving food out and not the fault of the property. Also, the mattress was not especially supportive and comfortable. Just a heads up: there are stray dogs running around the island. Unfortunately, in the neighborhood near the hotel is an aggressive dog that we nicknamed Grumpy. Not the best experience, but we fended Grumpy off with sticks and rocks. We survived...was funny after the fact, but if you’re afraid of dogs, may be less fun. A little further away from the hotel, we were chased by about one dozen chihuahua sized dogs, which was pretty entertaining lol.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Home-like , comfort
Cons: Bathroom a little bit small. Internet weak
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location was not far from the main strip or any of our activities. The woman at the front desk was friendly. The room had a fridge.
Cons: The bed was horribly uncomfortable. The air conditioner made a high pitch humming sound. The pillows were flat. You could hear the noise from other rooms clearly. The sink leaked.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, very easy to get to the waterfront, grocery store, and restaurants. The room was cozy and comfortable. The view from the terrace was also nice. A plus was hanging out with Clara (cat), she came to the terrace to say hi.
Lazy Hostel - Vieques - Bedroom

8.5 Excellent (369 reviews)
S$ 39+
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Lazy Hostel in Vieques, you'll be on the Strip, a 5-minute drive from Bioluminescent Bay and 10 minutes from Vieques Ferry Terminal. Featured amenities include luggage storage, a library, and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was exactly what I pictured when we were researching a place to stay in Vieques. Classic hostel feel with friendly staff and an open common area that's great for meeting people if you please, and a special cordoned off area with the private rooms if you prefer the peace and quiet. The bar/restaurant is great, with friendly and helpful staff and an awesome location across the street from the beautiful blue water. If you're a cocktail person, do try their Painkiller, it was the best I had on the island! 10/10 would recommend for a lazy island beach vacation.
Cons: It tends to get a bit loud at night, with folks partying at the bar until about midnight on a typical night. However the front desk does supply free earplugs if the noise does bother you.
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff was excellent and very informative. Offered lots of advice and made transactions easy. The hostel was clean and had everything you needed. We arrived early and left late, it was nice to be able to leave our belongings in a safe place and use the public showers/restrooms.
Cons: My private room was stated to have a king bed, was definitely NOT a king bed but a double/full. So my 6 foot plus partner was a bit uncomfortable. Sheets were thin and towels scarce. The shower head was fixed in a way that water was directed out the door and could not be adjusted.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location was right on beach.
Cons: Noise!! Didn't realize they would party till 4 am! Didn't expect really quiet but it was like sleeping at a loud bar. Room could be improved by some soundproofing- bottom of door was open for noises to come in.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was nothing more than some coffee and bread !
Cons: While it is a hostel like setting, the maintenance of the place left a lot to be desired, especially the restrooms and showers.
7.0 Good
Pros: the location was great, just next to pick up locations for bio bay night tour. Walking distance to several restaurants, food trucks and bars. The staffs are friendly and the public areas are clean.
Cons: It was really really loud at night so if you weren't planning on staying up late, it's probably not the best place to stay. Vise versa, If you want a good time, it is a great place to stay at.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and helpful staff! Everything was clean and the whole operation was extremely well run, and at the same time, laid back.
Cons: I know it's a hostel, but wow, the rooms were tiny! It was difficult to store/access my backpack. However, the location and affordability renders it a small inconvenience. The idea is that you spend as little time indoors as possible, which is fine by me!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The main bar in town, is at the hostel on the beach.
Cons: Needs more loose women
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Air conditioning, hot water, coffee, cereal and toast in the morning.
Cons: A little noisy in the night and roosters wake you up early, but still a great experience.
7.1 Good
Pros: Good location
5.0 Okay
Pros: Very good location.
Cons: The POS was not working, I had to go to an nearby ATM to get some cash.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Simple and straightforward, it’s a good place to crash out for the night to recover from your adventures. Right by the oceanfront, it’s remarkably affordable.
Cons: They have breakfast, but no peanut butter.

Pros: Julie was an excellent host who provided us with transportation as well as great recommendations. She was super friendly and accommodating. The place itself was very cute and colorful! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Ian is a brilliant host and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hostel is in the main town of the island but it was low season so it was not very busy, which was nice. Ian even organised a bioluminescence tour for us with little or no fuss. The rooms are basic but has WiFi and aircon, and washing machine and dryer should you need it.
Cons: Nothing, it's a great place
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Near to everywhere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Eva is wonderful! She is very intelligent and fun to listen to as well as helpful and welcoming.
6.2 Good
Pros: Walking distance to ferry, pretty much saw nobody in the day/night we were there at the hostel. Location has character - you might feel sketchy about it due to the island. It's very lonely and dark.
Cons: Location was difficult to find, no visible signs or markings it's the name of the hostel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostel is near to everything. Super market, café, restaurants... Gina is the best owner i found so far. She is a very beautiful person, helping us in everything, she is definetely the best. The room was perfect with a confortable bed and air conditioning. The bathroom is clean with essential things you need. The best thing is the common area where relaxing with the 2 hammocks and where is possible meet other hosts. Just in case, the Ferry terminal is far 5 minutes by foot.
Cons: Improve your services like a breakfast, tours, taxi service to and from the airport.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very hospitable host and very helpful and knowledgeable about everything on the island.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostess is very nice and kind. We spend the new year with her. She tells us a lot of useful information on Vieques island, like how to rent a golf car.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a very good place to stay peacefully in a place a little remote like Vieques. Breakfast- fair. Need to be prepared for Taxi rides way early even for dinner etcetra. Renting car if possible will help.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: This woman made a mistake and did not properly take our reservation. She did not take ownership for her mistake and charged us even though were not able to go, due to her mistake. I feel robbed of my vacation and my bank account. I would avoid this place at all costs, as this is not an honest person.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved being removed from all the tourist areas. It is a very peaceful place to stay
Cons: Transportation can be tricky but all you need to do is to rent a scooter or car and you are fine
1.0 Poor
Pros: Beautiful property and well maintained. Pool is nice and breakfast is good.
Cons: The owner is just plain mean and we ended up leaving after just one night to go to another inn on the island. When we arrived there was no one at the inn. When she showed up half an hour later, she said she had gotten sick of waiting for us (it was 3pm). She yelled at my seven year old for "whining" and yelled at us for using the ac with the window open (it was stuck). The local driver and next innkeeper said people have been fleeing from her attitude continuously- they even call them "Great Escape refugees." The location is also a drive from any places to eat and there are no snacks available. Stay in Esperanza by the restaurants and beach instead.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great! A place to relax in a family atmosphere!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything love it. Truly a place to relax. Disconnect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is incredible! Gorgeous views and a very large pool with lounge area made our stay very comfortable. The staff was incredible. And the complimentary breakfast was great. We will definitely stay with them again!

Pros: I had to leave too early each day to have breakfast, hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet.
Cons: No tv

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The frendliness of the employees
Cons: I called to fix the fridge and they did not went to fixed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were awesome! !! The views were incredible. ..
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The property was very well kept and the staff was very attentive. The food at Sorce was excellent and the cafe provided less expensive options for breakfasts and snacks.
Cons: There were several events going on the weekend we were there so the pool drink/food service was slower. In the morning when housekeeping was making their rounds they constantly let the doors slam shut. One would think that the staff would recognize this and try to prevent this annoyance. All of the room doors slammed unless you stopped it and closed it gently, so sleeping in was very difficult. . If you're a light sleeper that wants to sleep in, you may have issues staying here. Room service also banged on our door around midnight to deliver food but they had the wrong room.

8.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful views from the cottage, lovely breakfasts of fresh bread and cheese, and extremely helpful staff.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly and accommodating. Willing to pick up at the ferry. Nice and eager to please. Breakfast was available but a bit on the small side. Still, not many places even offer breakfast. Overall a quiet secluded place.
Cons: Animals are everywhere. Horses, dogs, cats, lizards or geckos (in our room), and roosters crowing. It was a bit much when the wind carries the stench. Kelly and Julie are cool but their help isn't anything special. We waited 10 min. For the office worker to get off a personal call to check us in, then he said it was a person calling about a reservation. I don't think so. The location stinks. Getting there is a pain. It is up a steep hill. So if you don't have a car or scooter it is going to be tough to get anywhere once there. Parking is on the road.

Pros: El Blok is beatifully designed and very comfortable. The rooftop (with pool) is amazing and the location is great.

3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Good location to visit the island. The stuff was nice and helpful.
Cons: The room was smelling of humidity and the facility was much different than advertised. I understand this still can be the result of the hurricane but it should be advertised through the posting that for instance the pool is not available anymore. I'm all up for helping out places that are still under recovery as long as it is known before hand. The toilet was not attached to the ground. The water in the shower was getting barely warm and took minutes to get it
1.0 Poor
Pros: The view is nice, as long as you don't look at the actual hotel.
Cons: Do not stay here! I booked this before a number of bad reviews were listed for it the month prior to our stay and went off the photos mainly. The photos do not represent what this hotel actually is. The rooms are very run down. Mattresses are dirty and heavily stained, sheets have stains on them room and bathroom has mold growing on walls and ceiling. Pool does not work and has brown water sitting at the bottom. Doors only have a basic lock and are easy to open even when they are locked. AC smells and filter hasn't been cleaned in awhile. Tiles in bathrooms are broken and dirt shoved into the corners. We would have found somewhere else but they do not give money back. Stay away.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Location that’s it!
Cons: I’ve worked in the hotel industry for 20 years. The 3 top reasons ppl return to a property is location, cleanliness & service. The front desk clerk is exceptional & should be working in a better property. The Housekerper works really hard but can only do a minimum with the resources she is given. The property is extremely run down. They should shut down 5-10 rooms at a time for major repairs. There’s mold, plaster falling, terraces are dangerous, pool has been closed before Maria, the owner falsely advertises. Sheets, blankets, pillows are old & Raggy. The mattress needs changing, walls need plastering, painting badly. They provide no hand towels & the towels they do provide smell dirty. I was outraged. I tipped the Housekerper very generous so she can clean my room again. She hadn’t been tipped in weeks can you blame the guest? I blame the owners who just care about money & exploding the property. Slum lords the property should be taken away from him or her.

Pros: Honestly, we did not like anything
Cons: The owner of the hotel knocked at 12am and said cops were asking us to move our car. We were 3 couples staying there. So the boys went downstairs there were no cops, the owner and his friends had been drinking and they wanted the car moved so they could hang out at the spot. They threatened us and called us names like A**holes etc. They spoke in Spanish so theydidnt understand all of it. We felt very unsafe throughout the night. Room was dirty Stairs had roaches Room's floor and roof had cement patches Bathroom was stinking like it hasnt been cleaned for a year No hot water Bedsheets had stains

Pros: Great view from the room! Very close to ferry station.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Pool by the beach
Cons: Lots of ants by the breakfast table

Pros: Very good host couple. Free snacks, coffee as breakfast, free beach supplies. Not far away are supermarkets and beaches. It's convenient to go to the seaside in the morning.
