The property was lovely and rustic and located in one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. The staff was knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions or simply chat about the park.
Not having air conditioning was more of an issue than I thought it would be, but we were also there in the middle of August. The temperature did drop pretty low at night (60 degrees F) however after being out in the sun all day the mild breeze from the fan and open windows weren’t quite enough to keep us comfortably cool.
The location of this property is literally inside the park gates, right across from the visitor center. It overlooks the caldera, which is breathtaking.
The rooms are very basic and need updating. The shower is very small.
Location was great. There is a restaurant and bar on site which makes it convenient for when you are hungry or want a snack.
It is a very hot and humid summer and there is no air conditioning in the room
Staff was awesome, location right in Volcano National Park was awesome, food was excellent
No air conditioning made it tough at night to sleep. First floor crater view rooms have people standing in front of your room from sunrise to sunset and room #7 has a hill that EVERYONE stands on in front of your windows. Tough to take a shower before dinner!
I’m really comfortable stay at hotel !
In the room was really noisy and also outside tourists always stay infront of room windows . Tour Guide and take photos always .... I totally recommend hotel please stand don’t come inside etc . And also I ordered taxi from hotel to kona ! It was night mare !! W price than UBER !!
