Zakynthos Convertible Car Hire

Once you’re mobile, you’re all set to go native. There is way more to do and see than what you would just find in town so your Zakynthos convertible car hire will be a major boost because with the top down you have unfettered views of the sweeping vistas that are laid out before you. From beautiful white beaches with azure waters, up steep cliffs inland where you will find a verdant plain (in winter) overflowing with olive groves and wooded areas, having wheels will give you the convenient freedom to do it all, at a pace and time that suits you. Shipwreck Beach and Smuggler’s Cove located on the western side of the island is reputed to have the clearest waters in all of Greece. Cape Skinari to the north offers the Blue Caves which can be visited in a glass-bottomed boat. Note that some attractions may only be accessible by boat so you’ll need to park your car and take to the water. Keri Caves off to the southwest are snorkelling and scuba territory. Porto Limionas offers more cliffs and caves with swimming waters close by. The Zakynthos National Marine Park in Laganas Bay has gorgeous stretches of beach to explore. None of this would be possible without your convertible rental.

With the dry conditions in the summer, keep in mind that wildfires can burn, which can affect visibility as you drive, and may affect air quality which could be difficult in an open convertible car. Check with your hotel to see if there are any warnings for heat waves and possible fires.

You might also run into some heavy traffic during your stay so keep that in mind. Zakynthos Town has tourist attractions aplenty, and this may have a knock-on effect on parking availability and traffic. Check with your hotel to see if they provide parking for your Zakynthos convertible rental, and if there is a surcharge for this.
