its clean, right in the middle of the town center, staff are really friendly although they dont speak english, and has fast free wireless internet connection... prices are very cheap.
i think an English speaking staff would make it perfect ....

Friendly staff and great central location. Nice comfortable room and breakfast ok with cake. A visit up to the Basilica is reccomended,fantastic views from there and even better if you venture up the Dome.
Some street noise may be heard if you have a room at the front.

The location was definitely the best part of this hotel - it is a quick walk from the train station (which is in a lovely part of town itself) and located within the bounds of the medieval center of town. There are lots of sights, museums, and restaurants in the area. It's about a 20-minute walk to Praia Norte, but it's an easy walk so we didn't mind. The table service during breakfast was also very nice - felt like being waited on in a restaurant!
We left the window open overnight and the street cleaners woke us up - not the hotel's fault, but just something to be mindful of if your room overlooks the straight as ours did.
