The jacuzzi in our suite along with the in floor lighting made the room very romantic, exactly what we were looking for during our honemoon. The staff were very, very friendly and accomodating. It was extremely clean, safe and well kept. The hotel had alot of history and class. We were extremely happy and would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to the Amalfi Coast.

Anytime you can use a free shuttle car from/to Amalfi downtown and private beach. We stayed a simple double room without terrace and there was one small window. You may not be satisfied with nice view from the room, but you can anytime go to terrace and see perfect view, don't worry.

Pros: The location of the hotel was great -right in the middle of town and an easy walk to the beach. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a nice terrace and a newly renovated bathroom. The ac also worked great (and was well worth the 10 Euro/day investment). The staff was very helpful in suggesting day trips and other things to do in the area. We had a car with us, but didn't need to use it during our 4-day stay as everything is accesible by bus or boat and it is impossible to find a parking space anyway. The breakfasts were simple, but good enough and were served on a delightful roof terrace. You are really getting value for money by staying here. Friends of ours recently stayed at a 4-star hotel on the water. Their hotel was fine, but they literally paid DOUBLE what we did! I don't think that's worth it for a sea view! We would definitely stay at Hotel Amalfi again.

Pros: We are amarried couple, who travelled with our two children aged 8 and 11. For us, the stay at Hotel Amalfi was very nice. We had a functional family room at the hotel, which is nicely situated; close to the sea - yet withdrawn from the most busy part of town. The hotel garden was very pleasant. Both children liked to sit there and read, pet the cat and discover the trees and flowers growing there. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking Amalfi and its surroundings was great! Furthermore, the staff was very helpful. The tour operator (bus + guide) they recommended for Pompeii-Vesuv was wonderful and made the trip a good experience for both childeren and grown-ups. The staff in general were very nice to children. An additional plus: The night watchman showed us where the light swithch of the roof terrace was so that my husband and I could there to read and write postcards after the kids had gone to bed.

The beach across the road, down 300 'easy' steps was just lovely and well worth a visit (it is possible to get a boat back to Amalfi if the steps back are too daunting).We eat in the hotel twice. The meals were cooked by mama and were simple but good. As a family run hotel, the service was very personal and wonderfuly helpful.

I would highly recommend the hotel for a relaxing, peaceful break and from which to explore wonderful Amalfi. It was recommended to me by a friend and Hotel Luna exceeded my expectations. Pros: We spent 14 nights in Hotel Bellevue so I believe we have a thorough understanding of staying at this hotel. The view from our room or from our bedroom is beautiful. Perhaps 100 feet out is the Mediterranean and looking to our left is a perfect view of the town. Our double tiered terrace is approximately 270 feet across. Bedroom and bathroom sizes very good clean modern and the host Thomas will help with anything.

Pros: The location can not be beat! You are literally one block up from the waterfront and directly behind the duomo. You can get anywhere either by foot, bus, or ferry! Tons of shoppping, restaurants, sites, beaches and other small towns within reach!
My room had a single bed, bath with a step in shower stall, sink, mirror and toilet, a small fridge, tv and armoire. Small but efficient.
The staff was very friendly and all the facilities were clean and organized.

Pros: We were made to feel very welcome and the staff could not have been more helpful. The hotel is very well located, close to town but to one edge of the harbour and is therefore peaceful and yet centrally placed. There is a lovely terrace looking out to the harbour for taking a relaxing breakfast in the sunshine. Thank you Hotel Aurora, we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back to see you again.

Pros: The personnel was incredibly nice and helpful, Hotel is not far away from being perfect, when compared to its price. Shuttle is very well organized if you do not need to return after 22:40. Otherwise not too far from Amalfi center but turning roads specific to countryside makes it longer. (hire the smallest car possible for this region) Hotel management is very friendly especially the guy watching the hotel at night is perfectly symphatic! Breakfast is a bit poor I have to say, but indeed all 3 star hotels are similar. Everything has a price. You may stay here instead of paying double even triple to Hotels near centre, and this way you may enjoy Amalfi not the Hotel.

Pros: Doria Amalfi is a nice and clean hotel. It has superb views and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The free shuttle service into the centre of Amalfi is also very helpful. We also had drinks across the road in their bar which is nice and newly decorated and also has fantastic views.I would recommend this hotel as the staff are lovely and very helpful it is clean and very well presented but I would recommend staying somewhere closer to town if you are only in Amalfi for 1 night.
