Lovely big room. Quiet. Great location. Price wasn't bad in comparison to other hotels. Nice breakfast. Appreciated having a coffee machine and ironing facilities in the room. Free warm cookie on arrival.
The mattress was not very comfortable. I could hear and feel all the springs every time I moved. I'm not a fan of feather pillows but there were no alternatives.
Very comfortable bed and quiet room. Staff were very friendly. Location was great and about a 10-15 minute walk to the city centre. It did the job as a base for our weekend in Bristol.
The furnishings (bathroom, wardrobe, blinds) were a bit worn and in need of some TLC. Breakfast did the job but we felt it was expensive for the price. We decided not to park at the hotel due to it costing £15 a day.
Service was extremely good. All staff exceptionally helpful and consistent across all staff, regardless of role.
Stair carpets are worn in places. Let’s down the overall look and standard.
Close to all the amenities, restaurants, bars etc. Close to the station but not close enough to feel like a layover hotel
Close to the train station. Check in was good and the day time staff are friendly and efficient
The event staff where rude. Particularly the man on the desk. The room smelt musty and the bedding did also. Room very small and the carpet was very stained. Bathroom had hair in it. Room is on the main road and the window was left open (I’m guessing because of the smell). Not worth the money.
