6.7 Good
Pros: Pool area, food, breakfast, free shuttle bus to the airport
Cons: Service, not even the manager seems to be nice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel. Great food. Ate exclusively at the hotel. All meals were excellent. Helpful staff. Yes - II'd stay there again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An amazing hotel from arriving to leaving . 5 star without a doubt . Everything just perfect
Cons: The restaurants were very pricey, If they lowered the prices , The guest would eat there more .
9.7 Excellent
Pros: the most beautiful resort in phu quoc
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location just ten minutes from the airport situated on the very long white sand of stretch of Long Beach. Rooms were modern and comfortable, stylish. The food really exceeded our expectations. The breakfast spread had a large variety of Western and Vietnamese, many healthy options and all very fresh. We ate at the Vietnamese and Indian restaurants and both were excellent and relatively good value for eating on property at a resort. Staff were helpful, and kind. Gave me basic first aid when I cut my hand. Upgraded our room to a villa as it was my husband's birthday. Little turn down touches also appreciated.
Cons: Villa is overall very comfortable and worth the upgrade however, the layout of the attached sitting room in the villa was not so comfortable so did not use it as much as we might. Could do a better job of communicating all that is available for guests - eg. bikes - and a proper concierge if people want to book outside activities.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and spacious rooms, well decorated. Attached Spa is well priced and executed. Pools and food service at the pool (including kid area) is very good. Kid’s club is great and available all day. Private beach. Breakfast has great selections. Italian and Indian restaurants are top quality. Complimentary airport pick up (15 min away). Live music at the bar.
Cons: Staff level of English is frustrating. For such international resort. I’d end up speaking with 3 different people before someone finally understood the request. WiFi is too slow - not acceptable at this level. They lost one of our luggage at the airport but then were able to retrieve it.
Cassia Cottage - Phu Quoc - Pool

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Complimentary bowl of ripe and tasty fruits in the cottage upon arrival. Fast check-in. Spacious cottage with lovely outdoor shower. Tasty breakfast, great selection: fruits, veggies, cold cuts, pastries, pho bo, french toast and eggs (fried, scrambled, poached, etc.) cooked by order. Nice cocktails, food at the hotel's Spice House restaurant was good. Lovely garden, lots of flowers. Ordered room service, food arrived quickly. Friendly staff. Sunset views from the beach. Laundry service (priced per item, but not very expensive), was ready the same day. WiFi everywhere, good signal. Everything we asked for was quickly provided (second blacked, fresh bathrobes, assistance with the safety deposit box). Killing mosquitoes before going to bed with the electrical "racket" was fun :) Cassia Cottage has a good vibe as it is not dominated by tourists from any particular contry. There are several restaurants near the hotel, they are touristy and the service is relaxed but the food was ok.
Cons: Disappointing beach: the hotel has a narrow strip of sand backed by the stone wall (which has a big pipe exit in it). Also, there were only 20 pairs of sunbeds on the hotel’s beach, most days it was impossible to find available sunbeds. One day there were no available sunbeds anywhere: neither on the beach, nor near the pool. There is a net in the sea, which is probably supposed to keep the garbage out, but it doesn’t really work – one day there were plastic bags in the water. Swimming near this net was unpleasant. Our stay was in high season (January) but the water in the sea was not clear at all, it was like swimming in a dirty river (with stinging plankton in the water). Pricey Spice House restaurant (we have same prices back home in Moscow, it felt strange to pay this much for Vietnamese food in Vietnam). Mosquitos made it impossible to stay outside after dark. Smoking neighbors in the next cottage made it impossible to sit on the terrace. To get from the cottages to the beach one has to go down several flights of stone stairs. Breakfast is over at 10:00. Complimentary cocktails were not tasty. Most staff’s English was so heavily accented that it made communication impossible. Small bathrobes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice location: many restaurant, mart and tour agency Friendly staff Nice infinity pool and private beach
Cons: Almost same breakfast during the stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is just perfect! The property is beautiful with lush gardens and right next to the beach. The room was spacious, modern and had a mosquito net that staff would install at the end of each afternoon. We greatly enjoyed staying around the pool and on the beach - everything is quiet and clean and loungers were new and comfortable. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful in organizing airport transfers. Free cocktails are served every afternoon and you can watch amazing sunsets on the beach in the hotel bar. The breakfast buffet is very elaborate. You can arrange diving and snorkeling trips in the diving outfit that is part of the hotel. You can have lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant and beach bar, but there are many restaurants within walking distance if you want some more options.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was really good, evening meal not so good. Malabar had no kids menu which was disappointing. Room was really spacious but the shower was a struggle to keep an even temperature. We stayed in the Beach House No.2 Overall a great stay and would recommend.
Cons: Definitely the quality of the evening meals needs improving. The menu is great but what is served is not of a good quality. The setting is so lovely at Cassia it's a shame to spoil it with poor quality evening food.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The resort is a delight of beautifully laid out cottages and gardens trees and water features and 3 swimming pools all next to the beach , food and bars very tasteful , the staff are friendly professional and make the visit fantastic. This place has got class

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely loved our time here. Perfectly relaxing- airport pickup waiting when we arrived, easy check in and bags taken to our room. The hotel property is beautiful. We were celebrating our anniversary and were given a gorgeous room which had been decorated and even a cake left for us! Room was always clean, no bugs except a few ants when we left some food out. Free water every day. Perfect being right next to the beach, even if it was busy it was still nice to spend the day there. Buffet breakfast was varied and good. Also easy to get room service at no extra charge in the evenings! Easy to rent a scooter from the hotel and explore for yourself and lots of great restaurants and spas nearby. Easy to organise tours from here too. We were so sad to leave!
Cons: Beach was beautiful but the area that belongs to the hotel is pretty small so got quite crowded with all the guests. Rows of sun loungers with dirty cushions all together with kids screaming everywhere wasnt the most relaxing. Also asked for some restaurant recommendations for our anniversary- only response was "ours" so worth doing your own research about places to eat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy access to beach Large rooms lovely gardens Friendly staff
Cons: Tourists not staying at resort Paying for and taking best sun beds on beach
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A great stay begins with the staff. Very accommodating and polite. Super clean. Of course, proximity to the beach is idea. Starting the day with a great breakfast is the way to my heart. Thank you.
Cons: Never ran into a concern.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was just a dream. The staff was always ready to help, very competent. I will definitely recomment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's literally right next to the private beach! My room was the closest one - only about 10 steps away from the beach. Perfect place to relax, got detached from cityscapes (but still with wifi). Their service was great and facilities were overall clean. It's gonna cost about $5~6 to go to night market and nearby area, but unless if you really want to go there, nearby restaurants also provide quality food, in a reasonable price.
Cons: The water temperature was not easily controllable. It was warm sometime, and right next moment it got extremely hot. Just be careful and you'll be fine... :)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Having stayed here 3 years ago, we came back to see that the place had changed a little. New first floor rooms have been created, so the hotel is now twice the size. However the rooms are great and spacious with direct access to the beach. Great breakfast buffet. Great service and very helpful staff. Great location for nearby restaurants (which have increased in numbers over the years). The sound of the ocean all day long is priceless.
Cons: The new owners have made the hotel into a resort kinda place with music on stage at night. This is in contrast to the piece and quietness of the place and the great location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room kept spotlessly clean in a great location. Lovely comfy bed. Great helpful staff
Cons: It would be good if sunbeds were given as priority to guests. Maybe other hotel users could rent them after 11.00 am as it was often hard to find beds in the shade. A light sensor for outdoor lights would be good at night. The lights tended to light up our room til early hours and when we had to leave for early flight the steps from our room were in complete darkness which was bit dangerous
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All was perfect! Nice hotel. Highly recommended
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is stunning and the staff are so friendly. Set in a lush garden with orchids, a pond and streams, on a lovely palm tree sandy beach with clean and warm waters.... what more do you want? We extended our stay a few days from the original checkout date because we loved it so much here. There is a very relaxed atmosphere throughout the day and a great chilled out band playing live music on the beach from sunset to 9pm. The beach is clean and has incredible sunsets. It’s away from the crowds and the busyness of the island. Perfect place to recharge. It’s close to some lovely bars and restaurants if you want to venture out in the evening, and you can also book some island tours from the hotel as well. Wish we could stay more!!!!

9.7 Excellent
Cons: Fantastic food and service. I couldn't fault this hotel. Brilliant kids club for the kids
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous Breakfast, lovely setting overlooking the pool and sea, huge variety with not the same bakery selection day after day. Kayaks and pool tables etc to amuse ourselves. Live music in the evening. DJ at the SKy360! Mia at The Sora and Umi resturant was lovely in explaining the dishes on the Menu and making suggestions that were perfect and looking after the one vegetarian member in the group. She also guided us on where to procure some local produce that our family found delicious.
Cons: No water provided by the poolside or beach unless you buy. Could do better to look after guests by the pool and beach. Also, the room service could do better to vacuum the sand from the rooms. The beds were not very comfy, a bit saggy/hard.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is a hotel where you come to relax for 100% and not be bothered by anything. Amazing, a bit expensive for me, stayed a day to experience and definitely would recommend for a person who can pay the stay with ease. Just amazing
Cons: The location is a bit far from the night market and the city, but it might be good for some other people.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful scenery. Accommodating staff. Food was fresh. Clean pools. Room was nicely decorated and clean. Quiet and relaxing, worth the money to spend a weekend here. We celebrated our one year anniversary and was given free cake, which was a nice touch.
Cons: Beach was nice but somewhat dirty, if you walk along the shore you will definitely see trash. I did not expect to see that at a 5 star resort. Actually saw some black/reddish water running from a stream into the ocean at the rock barrier. Wish I didn't have to see that. Food was not as good for my taste, but that's subjective.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: FAB! Everything was gorgeous. One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. Staff are very friendly. The hotel itself is a bit removed from the town but that didn't bother us. The room was stunning. The sun-loungers were so comfortable.
Cons: Food and drink is expensive, but in line with other 5 stars in Vietnam, so we expected it to be.

Pros: Perfect view from the villa. That its outside and inside are vietamese is good. It took 10sec to walk to beach.

Fantastic breakfast offering anything you could possibly want. Lovely to enjoy an evening cocktail overlooking the sea. Nice to be able to borrow bikes to explore the area. Water sports also available.

Pros: Perfect on the whole
Cons: Breakfast meditation music was sleep inducing as well as dated saxophonist playing 80s jams for dinner was painful to sit thru.

Pros: Pool is beautiful, building well decorated, good service, private beach was ideal
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A great hotel in a good location right on a lovely beach. The surrounding area has restaurants and cheap massage places which are great. The hotel itself is very comfortable and stylish. French colonial old style with modern touches. Phu Quoc main road and town is very busy and built up so it’s great to have the hotel as a haven.
Cons: All very small and easy to fix things. WiFi could be improved in my room. The beach tables need cleaning. The artwork in the room was beautiful but the bathroom was very sparse.
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff are courteous and always willing to help. The resort is quiet and suits those that want some privacy. It's a good location should you want to explore food and drink outside the resort. Beach is clean.

Green Bay Phu Quoc Resort & Spa - Phu Quoc - Building
7
9.2 Excellent (871 reviews)
S$ 163+
Overview Reviews
From the moment we first walked through an uninhabited tropical forest on Phu Quoc Island and discovered a pristine beach in a secluded coral bay boasting panoramic views across the Gulf of Thailand, we were inspired to create Green Bay Resort. We immediately had a vision of an eco-conscious, five-star boutique resort that nurtured the natural beauty of one of the secluded Vietnam beaches. Our goal was to develop a world class resort in Phu Quoc without disturbing the island’s enchanting, rustic aura. Our luxurious lodgings incorporate natural and sustainably-sourced materials while featuring all of the modern amenities that guests would expect from a superlative boutique holiday experience . Every day you will see a team of gardeners carefully maintaining the bucolic beauty throughout the resort. Each and every detail throughout our resort – from the serene setting of our spa through the restaurants and to the infinity pool bar that overlooks a pristine shoreline and the turquoise waters of a coral fringed-bay, guests will appreciate how Green Bay Resort strives to protect its most precious asset: the natural beauty of Phu Quoc Island.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, friendly staff, perfect retreat stay
Cons: Vietnamese restaurant, food quality
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was fantastic, great breakfast with a huge variety. The bungalow was really big with a great interior. Also, the two pools were fantastic. I can highly recommend to spend your vacation there and have dinner at the Vietnamese restaurant.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location, privacy and overall standard of the resort is exceptional. Hygiene and cleanliness throughout the resort was 6 star, they even take the beeches. The general manager and staff will very happily see to all your needs especially when you need there support.
Cons: The swimming pool with the ocean view villas should be heated, unfortunately we stayed on a couple of cloudy days which left the pool too cold. The superb outside luxury bath couldn’t be filled with hot water from the taps as it is supplied from a solar heated water tank. However this was resolved by the team with a hose pipe from a hot water connection.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in the ocean pavilion with a private pool. The room was really beautiful! Clean & spacious with nice views of the bay and the private pool was bigger than we expected! The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained and because all the rooms are villas or bungalows it retains that boutique feel. Breakfast selection was fantastic: egg station, pancakes, Vietnamese noodle soup, fresh croissants, a good fruit selection and cheeses. I also enjoyed the Vietnamese coffees each morning (they also offer cold drop coffee, American coffee, hot chocolate, tea & juice). Vietnamese food from Gio restaurant was enjoyable: particularly the lotus salad!
Cons: Insufficient information was provided at check in. For example, they offer a complimentary afternoon tea at 3pm each day which we only discovered by mistake! There is no map provided in the room, nor is there a spa menu. You have to walk (or catch a buggy) to the spa to see what treatments they offer. The hotel does provide room service but the menu is very restricted (and predominantly western food). The one time we ordered room service, it took 40minutes and was cold by the time it arrived. Unfortunately the staff would not provide cocktails to our room: only beer or wine. This was disappointing considering we’d booked the private pool villa with the intention of relaxing there all day!
7.0 Good
Pros: Beautiful resort, loved the bungalows and the design of whole place, including restaurants and pools etc. The beach was kept wonderfully clean and the entire hotel was very clean. The Duty Manager was very helpful, particularly offering a lift when we had to use the hospital on the island. It was really thoughtful and saved us a lot of stress.
Cons: We had issues with the food in the main restaurant, it seemed there was too much food to offer good quality and in fact we had to send food back one night as it was very undercooked, and on another occasion the food was cold. It’s such a shame because the Vietnamese restaurant is very good in comparison. In general, whilst the staff seem very eager to please, the level of service is just adequate rather than 4 star. There is no concierge, you cannot book taxis on the room account so remember to bring cash, despite offering a laundry service you have to call reception to specify use and the staff cannot assist with ongoing travel plans aside from the shuttle I.e. offering advice on transport off the island etc. We were advised that the spa was short staffed, so were only offered limited availability when booking, however when at the spa other guests appeared to be able to book treatments easily on the day.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location is idyllic, You wake up to birds singing and waves crashing on the rocks. The resort has a small child-friendly private beach, two pools and two restaurants.
Cons: Where to begin: We booked a beachfront bungalow with a double bed. Later we received an email stating this would depend on availability when we arrived. I sent two emails requesting the free transfer from the airport offered by the resort. After no response, I telephoned to confirm and was told transport would be waiting. This was not true. When we arrived at the resort they requested payment, using my mobile phone I demonstrated payment was taken several days before. At this point the man just wandered off, he never spoke to me again. Later we went to dinner and I ordered Seabass. They tried to serve a cheaper fish, I pointed this out and they replaced it. With the exception of breakfast, the quality of the food at the resort was poor. Internet quality was good when it worked, which it did not two of the four nights of our stay.
6.3 Good
Pros: Great location. Quiet. 30 min. From the city.
Cons: Climate control was a constant challenge. The AC was noisy and the system was difficult to control. A king-size bed is in fact 2 mattresses put together. Consequently, the two came apart. The bungalow provided minimum comfort and offered poor Wifi connectivity.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything.. The place is a dream!
Cons: Ongoing maintenance can be noisy but there is no avoiding that, I guess. Also, if you like to walk along long beaches, this is not the most accessible place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place and service. We love it! Highly recommend it!
Cons: All hood

Cons: There was limited food selection and variety during the breakfast buffet. If you are scared of insects and frogs, best to be aware.

Cons: BEACH BAR IPENS TO LATE!! Needs to be more service at the beach bar for guests as the always need to attend the bar for service. I would recommend staff to go around and ask guests if they would like to order drinks ect. The only down fall apart from this I will be returning again in april Wow!!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice villas, fantastic swimming pool and beach, good service, very professional staff, what else?!
Cons: Minor details: small fitness room, villa inside-lighting quite ‘cold’ could have more cosy/warm lightings. But those are details :)

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is good and close to cable car station. The villa is new and clean. Also there is a grocery store that you can buy fresh food to cook. Bicycle service and beach is super cool. Really love it.
Cons: I’ve booked a villa for 4 adults and 1 kid. The hotel just leaves two bedrooms open and locks 1 directly. Think it could better to notice the customer for choices about which ones to stay in.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast and view. There were some stairs which can be little hard for senior citizens. Good staff. Excellent room.
Cons: Too far from reception and climibing stairs to reach the villa.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The hotel is definitely not worth the price. The service needs many improvements to reach the standard of a five-star hotel. - There are two beaches - one of them is completely full of mosquitos. On our first day each of us got around 20-30 bites of mosquitos on all the body (I'm not joking). Nobody from the staff informed us there was such a mosquito invasion. - On our second day, they asked us if we wanted an upgrade to the "On the rock Villa". We accepted and we prepared everything to move to the new villa. Only after 4-5 hours they told us that the "On the rock Villa" was not available anymore. Things like this are definitely not acceptable in these kind of hotels. - No water pressure at the rooms at the first floor - Restaurants and Mini-Market have exorbitant prices for the Vietnamese standard. - After all our complaints, the only thing they offered us was an extra-night with a 10% discount. This is ridiculous. - After this experience, we booked another 5 star hotel (not in the same area of the island), which was not only a lot cheaper, but had a much better service.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent room facilities and fresh air from the hill and the ocean
Cons: A bit long to wait for buggy Had better have a Good asian restaurant with selected local foods
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We booked a 2 bedroom villa. And they opend all 3 rooms for us so it was so cozy and nice. the location was right in front of the mainpool and breakfast restraunt. We had a wonderful experience and really really hope to comeback soon. The mainpool is so amazing!
Cons: Incomvinient that there is no microwave. And the sink is too small to wash big pasta dishes which the resort offerd. The pot was small to cook a 3 bedroom villa guest. Maybe you can barely cook 3 portion of meal. If the kichten has more products to use it would be a 100% awsome place to spend your vacation.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Villa is beautiful and beach & property do not feel crowded
Cons: 1. No washer/dryer in the villa 2. Not enough dining facilities to accommodate all guests. 3. Beach is small
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like the design, the location and the architecture of the villages, the central pool is very beautiful. In short, everything is fine.
Cons: No see.

Pros: How the rooms are distributed around the pool. Clean room. The Restaurant (Lemongraass) in front was very nice! Also the receptionist was very kind and helpful.
Cons: Too close to the main road and hard to walk into town, although is very convenient and cheap to take a taxi. We missed not having the beach closer but its only around 7 mins walk, also once you get to the beach this is not as nice as in other part of the island. Its worth to rent a motorbike and go around.

Pros: Anna and her whole staff were amazing! She worked so hard to make our stay a pleasant one. She went above and beyond to meet our needs, even checking on my husband when he was not feeling well. The breakfast and restaurant food was always good, and the waiters were very attentive. Our family garden suite was very roomy and nicely decorated. The bed was comfy and air conditioning was great. Good water pressure and temp in the shower. The pool area and surrounding grounds were lovely.
Cons: Nothing...I am just disappointed that I forgot to take a photo of Anna before we left.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beutuful greeny and frendly staff
Cons: Everything was great, may be only that the room is a little bit dark, window is small!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The swimming pool was nice. We enjoyed swimming. The cleaning team did a great job. The atmosphere was good.
Cons: We stayed over the lunar new year holiday so the breakfast time felt very hectic. The staff were struggling to keep up with the guests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment we arrived we knew we would enjoy our stay. Anna is a lovely lady with lots of local knowledge. Along with our towels, pool towels are kindly provided in your room. The pool is lovely to spend the day at. There are a few restaurants close by & Passion bar is worth a visit. The beach is 5 minutes walk (Joe's bar have sunbeds for 100,000, 2 beds & umbrella)
Cons: We liked everything however do ask for a room away from the road!

Pros: all went very well, access to all shops / restaurants and bars was great. Very friendly service and would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Cons: Nothing - only minor is the noise from one bathroom to the next, ie next door - you can pretty well hear all that is going on when you're right next door.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in a few minutes by feet from maybe the best beach on Phu Quoc, it has two big and clean swimming pools and a very green territory. Breakfasts were great - tasty and with a good choice. If I'd come back to the same beach - I'll check this hotel's availability first.
Cons: Two-bungalow blocks has "joined" bathroom - they are separated by a wall not going up to the ceiling, so you will hear all the sounds from neighbors' one. Also shower water outlet is too easy to be blocked (by hair/dropped soap/etc) and in our case the hotel staff was unable to help us with this - so I had to clean it myself, then it was OK for a couple of days.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely quaint resort. Two lovely pools my only grumble is there really is no where near enough sun beds or comfy chairs around the pool. Really clean rooms, good breakfast and 5 mins from the lovely beach! Helpful pleasant staff and all round chilled vibe. Plenty of places that serve good food near by and well stocked shop opposite! You get free cycles here or for 150,000vmd for a motorbike. You will need mosquito spray here tho. Lovely place for a relaxing break!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool by the restaurant was wonderful.. but could have more lounge chairs. The happy hour cocktails were great! We rented a motorbike for the time here. Breakfast that was included and the service of the staff was very good!! Very clean property and friendly staff. Would recommend this property

Pros: Location, swimming pools and the support from the staff

Pros: Excellent service! Staff speak fluent English and are all swift and helpful. There are some restaurants just outside the hotel, so convenient.
Cons: There was an electricity stoppage for one time, but the staff repaired in just about ten minutes. It’s ok!

Pros: Good staff. Clean pool. Good enviroment. Not far from beach. Lots of restaurants outside
Cons: mosquito net are annoy. Breakfast simple but okay.

Pros: Everything was perfect - great location and beach
Cons: Nothing really
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is amazing! We came here for paradise and got exactly that. Our room was perfect - clean, a good size, two beds, really unique bathroom and was clean. The facilities on offer are top class - lovely pool area, it's own beach area, a good range of equipment to take out into the ocean, a great restaurant with lovely food, a good amount of sunbeds around the pool and at the beach. The staff make this resort - they are all so helpful and lovely, they literally can't do enough for you. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like - it was totally perfect for us.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location Private quiet beach with good sized pool Seaside villa stunning in side Food excellent Great service
Cons: The entrance was very under whelming this was the most expensive room we booked in Vietnam and we though we had the wrong hotel I guess they we’re going for a hidden in the trees look Facilities good once there but definitely no WOW factor on arrival
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The sunset was awesome and every staff was very kind. Also the room condition was neat and comfortable , and we got a free upgrade !! The meal, including breakfast, was delicious. Very enjoyed staying here ,, Happy and joyful time. Qlso they provide us a free taxi, that was also great though ,
Cons: Nothing everything was perfect. Except the location was a bit isolated, but whom want to rest in a peacefull area, it dosen't matter at all.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the quiet and private beach, clean and crystal clear water. The hotel is very nice and well maintained, this is a beautiful spot and the rooms are very nice. Great options of seafood stalls and restaurants a walking distance away. This is our favorite resort among the others.
Cons: Breakfast was so so as it is almost the same everyday with limited choices for Europeans and the cafe however you do better with a wider range of menu and better food quality!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent a week there and really enjoyed it. Very peaceful. Amazing staff. Comfortable bed and nice breakfast.
Cons: The only thing we didn’t care for is the restaurant food - breakfast was great but their lunch and dinner fare were mediocre.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The privacy, well kept garden, good meals with reasonable price, perfect small beach, etc...
Cons: It was a wonderful experience. I can bring out nothing negative.

Pros: Staff was really nice! Beach was beautiful and so were the rooms
Cons: Breakfast could be improved (and I’m easy to please usually)

9.4 Excellent
Pros: The food was wonderful and the staff incredible. The location is unbelievably beautiful.
Cons: This place doesn’t have a/c or a pool, but that’s part of the point and it’s unique beauty. It has the best beach so there’s no need for a pool and the eco cabins make it a very special experience, but in terms of comfort, this place isn’t for everyone. We loved it, but we weren’t looking more for a unique experience than for the lap of luxury.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting and gorgeous restaurants
Cons: We weren't able to get a table on the deck at sunset as they were fully booked--would advise booking in advance if you can
7.9 Good
Pros: The natural landscaping and genuine ecological emphasis was amazing. The restaurants were beautifully situated on the rocks next to the sea Staff generally lovely and helpful
Cons: No kettle in the room meant that all important morning cup of tea on the veranda was impossible due to the thermos flask being inadequate ( obvs only affecting UK guests!) Rooms small and dark although lovely open air bathrooms
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, amazing food and friendly staff, the sunsets were to die for Would definitely recommend
Cons: Our beachfront bungalow was a bit too small apart from bathroom
7.0 Good
Pros: The location is beautiful as is the hotel.
Cons: The communication with us about dinner reservations on the deck restaurant was so poor. We were not advised to make a booking for dinner so when we got back from our island trip the restaurant was fully booked for both sittings, and mainly, it seemed with non-resident guests. This was really such a disappointment as we had only two nights at the hotel. It really is something that the check-in staff should ask on arrival, or at least warn guests that with no reservations, not guaranteed.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I stayed at Mango Bay for 3 nights. The resort grounds are beautiful. The resort is very quiet and peaceful - perfect place to relax. The private beach was great; it was never too crowded. The hotel organizes lots of activities for guests (morning yoga, Taichi etc.). Both restaurants were great. The bungalow was well equipped: with all the normal things like a safe, but also with things like flash lights, bug spray, and mosquito nets which came in very handy as the bungalow is not entirely sealed off from the outside (eg there are no windows but rather wooden frames and the bathroom has a large opening to the outside). Overall I would definitely recommend mango bay to someone looking for a place to relax outside the city.
Cons: The resort is definitely in a quieter area so there aren’t too many restaurants or shops around. It is around a 15-20 min car ride to the center. The hotel does organize a shuttle to the center so it is just a car ride away.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff. Lovely unspoiled views Not for the livers of "manicured grounds" this is truly a resort that honors nature's beauty . Lovely restaurants.
Cons: Liked everything except rickety bicycles
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Not too crowded. Nice beach. Nice bungalows with outdoor bathroom. Wonderful staff. Very relaxing.

Pros: Parasiticide place
Cons: Everything was perfect

Pros: Loved the laid back, rustic character of this place. The resort restaurant was very good -- food and ambiance (deck right on the oceanfront).

Pros: Amazing place. Everything was great. The resort, staff, rooms was all exceptional and the beach and front area they have has to be one of the best on long beach.
Cons: I didn't like leaving

Pros: Beach front villa was amazing. Relaxed and comfortable, the service and facilities were excellent. Enjoyed the fabulous breakfast every morning. This was a sensational stay. Highly recommend a beach front villa. :-)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. Convenience location and good facility both for work and leisures
Cons: Yet to find one
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Big, comfy room, beautiful hotel gounds, clean beach, very big sea swimming area. I don’t know if the hotel was empty (judging by breakfast- rather not!) but it was never crowded and everyone could have their privacy. Good breakfast, nice restaurants within 5mins walk- I miss it already!
Cons: Can’t complain about anything!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: perfect location to everything. nice beach and pool. very polite staff although some of them can't speak English, but willing to help all the time.
Cons: the king size bed of ocean view room is actually two single beds putting together.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had accidentally booked a room with one big bed instead of two smaller. The staff was very nice and we got an extra bed in the room with no extra charge, and an offer to change room after two nights when they would have an available room with two beds. Very good breakfast. Great location by the beach and easy to grab a taxi to the city We stayed in the "beach zone", I think that was the name. We did yoga one morning wich was included in your stay, you also got one hour of free tennis. A very nice tenniscourt
Cons: The only bad I think was our neighbour that slammed the door very hard
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It is a perfect place to relax and have fun! It has a great location and the beach is nice. Lovely people works there. Great breakfast.
Cons: The shower could have been closer
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, breakfast, staff! The rooms are confortable. I would advise everybody!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was outstanding.
Cons: A bigger menu on the beach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a fantastic stay at Famiana Resort & Spa. Nice and clean room, large bathroom and a great view from our balcony. Staff members were smiling and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The hotel is located at the beach, which is beautiful and clean. I would also recommend the free yoga classes they offer every morning (except for weekends). The breakfast is very good, and there are many restaurants and small shops just outside of the hotel. If you are looking for a relaxing spot to spend your vacation, you won't regret choosing this one!
Cons: Beware of the traffic outside of the hotel area. There are no pavements or anything, but just watch your step and you'll be fine. It's nothing compared to Ho Chi Minh City :)

Pros: Everything! Beautiful beach, hammocks, completely chilled out for 5 days. Staff could not do enough for you. Great food in the restaurant and a 10 minute walk to the town if you want a chance of scene. Air conditioned, clean beautiful landscapes gardens and pick up and drop off at the airport. Such happy memories - Thankyou.
Cons: There’s a few mozzies so take your deet - but that’s hot humid countries for you.
6.7 Good
Pros: Eco, beautiful, you feel the spirit ! They surprised us on new year’s morning with red envelope
Cons: When we checked in, they were cleaning the room and left the plate with food leftovers outside. They were there for 2 days !!! When I woke up in the morning my toothbrush was covered with ants
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Airport pickup & drop off on time; beautiful landscape; friendly front desk girls; clean beach; nice drinks at the beach bar; solid chalet. Would definitely recommend to all my friends and be back if they improved the breakfast quality.
Cons: The breakfast is weak, lack of quality choices, would be great to add in few quality local selections. And also it's end quite early for a resort at 9:30am sharp. The service staff at the breakfast are not very friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a nice place! It is even looking much better than on the photos. The garden looks so good, the pool in the middle and you always got a great view on the palsm and the beach. Wohoo! The breakfast was good to very good. One of the best we had in Vietnam in 4 weeks. The Bungalow is equipped with traditional furniture which i found quite nice, my girlfriend did not like it that much, but it was no problem. The Bed is wider than long, which means its huge. I definitly have to mention the open bathroom, meaning you got a stone wall in the bathroom which to the top is open. the bathroom is practically outside located, but noone can look in. In front of the stone wall you got nice green plants and flowers. I loved it so much. Also it is cool that you can use the Kajaks on the beach for free, i used it for a little trip to the harbour uo north, which was just a 30 minute drive, and we went for some sundown kayaking too.
Cons: Little downside was that the bed consisted of 2 matresses and that the bathroom door was not very tight sealing. Behind it is and open bathroom, so we thought we get biten be mosquitos in the night, but that was not the case, or not more than usual. :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The resort is really great and it was above our expectations. Everyone work hard to make your stay really great and you feel like home thanks to the team at the reception, chef at the restaurant or breakfast, waiter smiling all the time , girl cleaning bungalows, gardeners, security and all leaded by very profesional managers The most beautiful view we have ever had , plenty of space on the beach and swimming pool . Privacy and quality of the bugalows - all of them surrounded by tropical garden.
Cons: Nothing for us, everything was perfect. Just one thing to take into consideration - the resort is on the hill so difficult for people with serious mobility problems.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything was perfect. clean, nice staff, beautiful environment

6.0 Good
Pros: Food was nice and could visit/ enjoy safari, vinpearlland easily.
Cons: The supervisor in nemo restaurant was rude and asked me if I came for the breakfast second time in this morning! She totally ruined my day! If she thinks I am suspicious, then she needs to check the entrance system internally first before she ask me! How unprofessional she was! Cannot believe she is supervisor in vinpearl resort. I complained this at my check out to the manager at the front desk. He handled this professionally, and tried to make my feeling better! I thank him for the caring attitude! The female supervisor who was working around 9:30ish on 23rd Jan, ruined my day and I have to share my experience on Korean SNS to prevent other korean travelers not to get this kind of bad experience!
7.0 Good
Pros: Very comfortable room and great facilities. Good selection of food. Nice pool and beach.
Cons: The hotel is so bad for the environment. A lot of unnecessary single-use bottles, no water dispensers and only give you small water bottles each time. No recycling bins. Constantly putting paper under the door with messages. Most staff are nice. One in the bar by the beach was very loud and extremely rude to us.
6.0 Good
Pros: The rooms and bathrooms are huge and nicely decorated. Pool area is super nice. Reception staff are very friendly. It's a nice place, but needs to make strides towards being more sustainable.
Cons: A hotel of this size can make a difference to the environment, but this one is full of plastic and has no obvious recycling facilities or eco policy. The only water available was in small plastic bottles that were subsequently thrown away in their thousands. There were eight small plastic bottles in the bathroom every day. We visited the nearby beaches and they were full of plastic, which is indicative of the attitude.
7.9 Good
Pros: The resort is very clean and well kept. The pool and the gym are amazing. The free tennis is a major plus. Going around the area is made very easy with the tuk tuk service and also the complimentary bus to the night market everyday at 15 and 17 is great! The rooms are wonderful and the bed is super cozy!
Cons: The buffet that is included in the all inclusive is not good. I would not suggest taking the all inclusive package except that due to the location of the resort far from any other restaurants or towns it is the only option.
7.0 Good
Pros: Quiet location good for relaxing
Cons: We ordered a double bed instead it was two single beds put together with a blanket used as a bed cover...! It was very far from the town and airport. It would have been great if there was a shuttle bus that takes and brings you from town even if you had to pay for it. The food was not great - room service is better value for money.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Pleasant surrounding with decent facilities
Cons: Staff were very polite but not co operative with our requests for vegetarian food requests
6.7 Good
Pros: Close to the land and safari. We’ll schedule for shuttle bus between the locations.
Cons: I’ve dropped mail to consult the airport pickup but didn’t get respond for over 1 month. Then I called the hotel to let them know my flight but was told to write mail again. But when I arrived the airport, there is still no reservation for me. And I was told to wait for another 30 min. The arrangement really need improvement. Also, when I arrive the hotel finally, it takes around 20 min to keep me waiting after getting my passport. And in the meantime, they are dealing cases with other customers. And told me that they cannot find my reservation. When I showed my booking record, they found it immediately. It was really disappointing before arriving the villa.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff, facilities and great swimming pool to relax.Safari is worth a visit.
Cons: We wish more vegetarian options for breakfast were available.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was really good and nice, personal try help you in every situation, personal servis more than they have to do! Really nice stay and thanks for everything! Honestly one of the best stay what I got ! Recommanded to all guest around the world !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Kiki, George and crew couldn’t be more accommodating.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Kiki, her husband George, and the rest of the staff are wonderful. George makes it a point to have a conversation with guests every day, telling stories and offering advice. The sand comes right up to the front steps of the three bungalows and provides a large area between the buildings and the waterline with chairs, tables, hammocks, and shade from the many palm trees. No need for shoes during your stay. The bungalows are relatively spacious (compared to hotel rooms), and would be even nicer if there was a way to get outside airflow at night so that the air conditioner is not needed. Room can be paid with credit card (with 2% fee), but any meals will need to be paid by cash. Be aware as there are no nearby ATMs. The menu in their little kitchen is quite extensive with mainly Vietnamese items, but also three flavors of spaghetti. On-demand water heater in the shower provides hot water, but it is low flow due to their well situation. Wifi was stable, but somewhat slow. But you are in the middle of nowhere, so any wifi is nice. Many of the guests that came and went during our week at Kiki's did various activities on the island during their days. We found that just puttering around Kiki's and watching the water was just fine - no need to run around all the time. The location is on the quiet side of the island. It is a bit of a drive (like 350,000 VND taxi each way) to get into the "big" city. Sun rises right outside the bungalow doors, but sets on the other side of the island. Quiet at night - essentially no traffic noises, just a rustle of wind and gentle waves.
Cons: Like most of Vietnam, there is litter everywhere - except at Kiki's. They clean their bit of paradise constantly, but the surrounding beaches and roadsides are covered in trash. Having a second operable window to enable air flow at night would keep the room more comfortable without turning on the air conditioner.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Really cool hosts, Nelson and Kiki (the couple that run the place) are super nice and friendly, really accomodating and welcoming, lots of good info too. Food is good and the location is excellent if you want to be away from all the hussle and bustle of the main town.
Cons: The only possible improvement I could see is maybe improving the beach area to the left and right by tidying it up and keeping it nice, although these areas may not belong to their villa in which case maybe it's out of their hands. Apart from that it's a cool place.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are clean The resort is well maintained The sea front is nice Warm welcome of Kiki and George
Cons: Location is too far away on short stay (1h30 round trip by scooter to go to must see places of the island) Dinner has to be served at 7pm with other guests which was more of a contraint for us looking for peace and serenity coming to that kind of secluded resort No beach though one could be arranged as the little sand space on the sea is full of trash Overall the stay is overpriced
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very beautiful and peaceful place. Silent, clean, good food, cute dogs - very good value for money. We had a lovely stay. The hosts are the most friendly people you will meet, and they have tons of great recommendations for Phu Quoc and Vietnam in general.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I absolutely loved the atmosphere and personal care that we all was treated with at Coconut Beach Resort. Its one of these places you hide in your heart as a preciouse memory. Sitting at night on the beach under the stars sharing meals with interesting travellers from all over the world.....what else could you wish? Kiki and George does really make this place unique allthough one should be aware that this brings nothing of the luxury that a lot of the new resorts offer. Special recommendation to request the Robinson House for those who wants to stay for more then some few nights. This is where you go to get away from it all :)
Cons: In general it is very sad to se the exploation and pollution of this island, although that has nothing to do specifically with Kiki Coconut Beach Resort. (!) They are struggling very hard to keep the area as clean as possible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I've been to Phu Quoc before and was under impressed because of the vast amount of construction and masses of people but this place is the perfect antidote. The hosts are super hospitable and the rooms and beach area are impeccable. The water is shallow and serves as a massive wonderfully warm bath! We stayed 3 nights and had such a peaceful and relaxing experience. We'll definitely be back! The hosts go out of their way to do their best for you, arranging transport, tours, and so on and the food is tasty and inexpensive. Even if you're not that experimental with food, you'll find something great to eat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very chilled resort, great bungalows, lots of space. Beach and sea is clean, nice for swimming and snorkelling. Fantastic food in restaurant set out over sea. Very helpful staff. This place is near paradise on earth. The resort is an oasis of tranquillity that seems to attract like minded travellers.
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There was not one thing we did not like about this little corner of paradise! In the fast paced development of Phu Quoc, that was a peaceful oasis for us to spend days looking at the sea lying in the hammocks under the palm trees or chat the evenings away with Kiki, George and their crew.. this was our last stay in Vietnam and we could not have wished for a more perfect end to the trip. An extra kind word for a great job of the cook who cooked us delicious meals every day. And indeed the review would not be full without adding a word of gratitude to Kiki and George who, within few days, have integrated us into their large family, offering a kind word, a joke or a whole treasury of knowledge about the island. Cannot wait to be back.

Pros: Amazing place and service. We love it! Highly recommend it!
Cons: All hood

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was great--a small, simple menu that's made-to-order so everything comes out fresh. The resort offers a bunch of nice little freebies: snorkeling gear, kayaks, suntan lotions/sprays, bicycles, a modest library, a daily shuttle to the main town area. Lunch and dinner aren't included, but the menu is nice and affordable, with rotating daily specials. The owners and staff are super friendly without being overbearing or nosy, and are very warm and accommodating. It really was the perfect place for us.
Cons: It's hard to find any real negatives about this place because we loved it. It's on a pretty quiet corner of the island, so if you really want a lot of different lunch/dinner options, you may have to travel a bit.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The resort is very well organised and thought through. It’s an ideal place for relaxing and spending time away from noisy parts of Phu Quoc. The restaurant is amazing and guests from other resorts were coming for lunches and dinners here.
Cons: The ants in our room, but not sure how much can be done here

9.0 Excellent
Pros: + Nice location, with beautiful and clean beach + Big room + There is always availability of beds on the beach (differently from many other resorts)
Cons: - Communication problems with the staff: apart from the reception, most of the hotel members have difficulty in speaking and understanding English (especially when you need to explain them that you do not eat spicy food...)
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic place, we had a beachfront bungalow which was exactly that and had a fantastic view! The whole place was super chilled and had an understated charm and style. Restaurant was great but the beachfront bar even better and after the first night we always ate there. Staff also great, always friendly and helpful. Having seen some of the other massively over-developed resorts on the island we really appreciated the quiet and relative isolation. We'd definitely go again!
Cons: Nothing really. If you're being really picky the bungalows were around 5 years old - but they were still better than almost everywhere else we stayed in 2 1/2 weeks in Vietnam.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just fantastic. Location, staff, food, room and beach... all of these are more than perfect. We would surely come back to this place. Thank you very much for making our holiday so special.
Cons: You can’t expect much from spa. But you don’t need it anyway. You have many more things to do here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in 2 rooms with our 3 year old - pool view and beach front for 5 nights. Both are great but beach front was just a bit better! All rooms had 2 doors which made it easy to come in with wet feet without wetting the room. Rooms were big and very comfortable. Balconies were great too. This resort is amazing for families with small children. The beach and pool are ideal for kids, and the sea is clean, clear, warm, and quite shallow. Facilities were very clean, staff were helpful and always present. There was food service at the pool, beach and room, though it could take some time sometimes. Quality of food was basically good, though a bit expensive (all relative though!). The portion sizes are big which makes up for the expense. We also loved the coffee and breakfast. Communication with the property was really easy. Staff spoke enough English and front desk was very responsive before and during our stay. Rental Scooters and free bicycles are available at the property. Yes, it is a little distance from the nearby town, about 1-1.5km, but frankly we found no reason to leave! All in all an amazing stay! We will definitely be back and will definitely recommend it!
Cons: A few suggestions only: 1) switch to refillable water bottles instead of providing more and more plastic bottles. 2) improve bedside lighting especially in the beachfront rooms. 3) Provide at least one luggage rack and also a foldable clothes dryer.
6.0 Good
Pros: The facilities are very nice and the location is nice, far from the huge hotels on east coast. The atmosphere is simply homey. The breakfast was not bad the food offer had nice variety. The staff was very nice but lacking the enthusiasm when solving any issue.
Cons: The room was contaminated with flies and it seems it does not bother anyone from the house keeping, so I have to complain every morning to get the room sprayed. And sadly nobody cared about cleaning dead flies after. As I found out it was rather specific issue of our room ( 122) then issue in whole complex. The in-room cutlery and glasses were pretty dirty. The dishes on lunch and dinner menu was not good. Many of originally savory dishes were very sweet( nasi goreng, tom yum, seafood and vegetables with oyster sauce, bolognese pasta) and the western dishes were often disgusting ( pizza and pasta). The service in the bar and restaurant was unnecessary slow .
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful beach fit for both swimming and snorkeling, no big waves so also kids friendly. Very friendly staff. Rooms always perfectly cleaned. Possibility to borrow (for free) bike or kayak and explore the surroundings. Trips organized to a nearby beach from time to time. Reasonable food and drink prices within the resort.
Cons: The food was sometimes unusual in case of the Western dishes (the Vietnamese dishes were delicious). There are not really nearby shops / restaurants outside the resort (but the Ganh Dau village is not that far when using the bike).

Pros: Loved the peace and beauty
