Pros: We only stayed for a short amount of time but for the time that we were there, the staff were welcoming and very helpful. The hotel is located near the public beaches and is surrounded by a bunch of locally owned shops and restaurants. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in Cartagena.

Pros: The staff is outstanding and waiting to serve you as soon as you walk in with a smile. The rooms may be small but the space is well designated and the comfort level is excellent. The rooms are very quiet with good padding between them and you are given a refreshing drink when you walk into the hotel which was excellent

Pros: Right in front of the beach. Walking distance of several local restaurants. Not to far from Ciudad Amurallada where most of the niciest restaurants, site-seeing and nighlife happens. Great staff very friendly.

Cons: The beach wasn't relaxing at all. The vendors are extremely aggressive. They line up at your cabana and you can barely close your eyes for 30 seconds. They start massaging you and asking for money. We were there for 3 days and only went to the beach 1 day.. Stay in old town and enjoy the history and market where you go to vendors, not the other way around.

Pros: The grounds are beautiful. Guest relations is beyond and above expectation.
Cons: For 4 or 5 star hotel, I expected a formal dining restaurant; I expected the mini bar to be fully stocked. I expected quality service from the housekeeping staff...returning to my room and finding no toilet paper is unacceptable....having one glass in the bathroom for a room for 4 people is unacceptable. My one and only significant complaint is with customer service and being subjected to maintenance activity on a much too regular basis.

Pros: I particularly appreciated the courtesy and the generally warm and kind service staff. They were simply WONDERFUL! I, in fact want to write the management to express my appreciation and especially commend them on their staff especially those working the poolside restaurant-breakfast,lunch and dinner. When you ask for help in the front desk they treat you as you committed a crime when you are paying for the services the offer and do not accomplish.

Pros: The location was very convenient during my stay due to the hotel being right in the middle between old town Cartagena and the airport. Short taxi ride.
Cons: The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. The mattress is only 4 inches thick and the pillow was very hard. I woke up with a sore neck. Not recommended for a long stay. The parking situation is also a little weird. You take your car to the parking garage on an elevator (that’s fine). But then you have to come down on the same elevator, on foot with your suitcases through a back door into the reception to take the elevator to your floor. The back way was in parts tight due to pallets maybe being stored in the hall. Also through that hall is the back entrance to unfinished business offices. It was just a little bazaar.

Pros: Right across the beach which I loved. Next to a good cheap breakfast place towards the left. The shower was great and you can open the window from the room a little and can hear the waves. Everything is super modern and clean. The hotel isn’t far from the walled city. About 5 minutes in taxi. My husband even walked to the hotel from there. I stayed with my husband and one year old. We all loved it. Including the baby. You can see the beach from hallways as well and the staff is very nice and helpful and professional . I would definitely stay again. We stayed 3 nights. Also every time I asked for new towels they cAme right away

Pros: Nothing - we will never stay here or at an associated property again, and would strongly recommend anyone from staying here as well
Cons: Of the last 5 years of 1500+ nights in hotels, I have never encountered a worst place to stay in my life. This is unlike any other property with rules and processes carefully designed to make a guest's experience challenging. 1. Check-in only takes an hour at the front desk, accepting payment usually results in US banks blocking your card due to suspected fraud, and guests can count on another 30 min before room inspection can be complete and a key is obtained 2. Wifi is non-existant 3. There are strange restrictions around where you can move around the hotel as well taking your room towel out of the room (really?) 4. Exercising "discipline," redundant process, and rules requires a lot of monitoring and staff, and the hotel has impressively invested plenty of manpower in that area 5. Oh and don't dare leave your key in your room, it will only take several hours for the hotel to find a locksmith...one would have thought to keep duplicates right? 6. Though it is all-inclusive, the alcohol quality is bound to make you sick and the food is mostly uncooked. Be prepared to eat/drink outside for all 3 meals. I am surprised that the hotel is still up and running. We were a group of 8 who spent most of our time outside the rooms, but whatever moments were at the hotel, were not conducive to a convenient existence.
