Pros: I was quoted one rate and the pickup counter tried to charge me another, along with a $30 airport drop off fee. Be careful when you choose the special value, If they promise a 5 passenger, 5 bag car, don't count on it. The person at the counter was not very helpful. Also, she failed to inform me of the requirement of having a reciept for gas if you drive less than 75 miles. I had to pull up my bank account on the phone to prove I fueled it up.

Pros: Unbeatable price, paid 60% of the first retained amount, the rate changed somewhere between the pick up and drop off of the car and it was adjusted to almost $400 less at the end.

Return at a different location
Pros: It would have been nice if they had provided a correct return location address instead of one that has not been used for over 2 YEARS!!!
I wasted precious time looking for a non-existent address. I would not rent from Dollar again because of this.
Cons: They provided the wrong address for the drop off at a different location.

Pros: The rate for the week we're great, no other site could beat them.
Cons: The pickup took far too long as there was only 1 representative working. The car itself was dirty on every seat, they should try to clean them thoroughly.

Pros: I only liked the agent at the Naples, FL airport that exchanged my poor running, two warning lights on car. She was wonderful.
Cons: I paid for my car at 3:00 pm and picked it up at 9:00 pm. When I turned the car on, the "maintenance required" light was on. The next morning the "engine hot" light came on. Both warning lights NEVER went off! I called a total of FOUR times over the next FIVE days before I got a replacement car. I WILL NEVER USE DOLLAR AGAIN!!
Cons: Poor signage with drop off - we entered the car return area and were left guessing what to do. Asked random people in the lot what we're supposed to do next - we were told to park anywhere and turn in keys and report mileage "inside the airport." In the airport once we found the Hertz desk, we waited in line only to find out we could have just put the keys on the desk - and mileage wasn't inquired about. Again, no signage about what steps to take.
