Pros: The service we got was fantastic. Lots of help and concern when we had money issues with a bank in the US. Really great advice about what to see in the area. Very low key and easy place to stay but they were always available to help if needed. Lovely breakfast choices. Clifden is a great base for exploring Connemara.

Pros: The pancakes are a must.The downstairs common room was conducive to socializing with other guests. The location was perfect for exploring town on foot and as a base to explore other towns. Owners were very pleasant and accommodating.Can walk on sidewalks to pubs within 2 mins. The rooms/bathrooms are updated, they obviously put money back into their home, it shows. I would definitely stay here again!

Pros: The location was excellent - a short stroll from the main streets but far enough away from the noise of the busy pubs and restaurants to get a good nights sleep. Good size rooms, clean and bright, great choice of breakfast in the morning, and a warm and very helpful host.......

Pros: The food (breakfast and dinner) and the view from the restaurant were sensational; liked the fact that a lot of ingredents used were organic and grown behind the hotel. The bar area and lounge were very comfortable and the owner was friendly, welcoming and ensured guests became involved in the evening's entertainment (rattling tambourines!)
