Pros:

The attendant provided us with a vehicle that was perfect for our trip.

Cons:

The vehicle had been used by UPS for a month and was very dirty, but I knew that when I accepted it. It was so much more appropriate for our needs than what we initially reserved.

People carrier

When I went to go pick up the seven seat van they didn’t have it. All they could offer me is a six seat Jeep. As I was driving it, I noticed how dirty it was. There was white sticky in the center console. I got about two miles away and the windshield wiper fluid light came on. I filled it up and the next day on the road the light came on again. It also would only spray out the passenger side. The man helping me at Enterprise was nice and did his best to help me when I picked up the car but it was a pretty bum deal overall.

The rental was switched from the airport to downtown. There was no transport to downtown and the office closed at the time of my landing.

At the counter it was great. I had to call customer service; however, and it was terrible. I had to repeat all my information to an automated service and then again twice to customer service. Please, please, please bring you customer care call centers back to the United States. I worked for Tmobile and Americans want to speak to Americans. I was so mad by the end of the call I don't know if I will rent with Budget again.

The price quoted to me was approximately $235 for a one day rental. When my credit card was charged, one day and less than 24 hours later, the total cost was $493.97. It makes me never want to use Budget nor Kayak for a car rental again.
