Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's excellent central location, making it easy to access beaches, shopping, and restaurants. Many also appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. However, several reviews noted issues with noise, especially from outside and construction, as well as some concerns about cleanliness and the condition of amenities. While some guests enjoyed the pool and on-site activities, others felt the facilities and communal areas could use renovation or clearer signage. Overall, the positives centered on location and service, with some mixed feedback on other aspects.

Biggest complaint is noise. The rooms don't have thick enough walls and most sounds come through from room to room pretty clearly. Also, on the back side of the hotel, all balconies look out on parking but when opening the sliding door all you hear is the thunderous sound of numerous industrial sized air conditioners, so those balconies are useless. Staff was excellent. Location was excellent. Did...

This has been one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The hotel is clean, staff are friendly & helpful, and it’s walking distance to Waikiki Beach & lots of shopping. Highly recommend staying there, especially if its your first time going to Hawaii.

Staying in Waikiki is always noisy. There is street drama, traffic, and sirens - part of what makes it exciting. What I didn’t need was thin walls and neighbors with booming voices late into the night.

Pros (+) The bed and the view
Cons (-) Provide all listed amenities (robes and microwave were missing from our room). Fix the elevator (lines were long). Provide early check in when it is selected/requested on the app. Allow the digital key and provided room keys to work simultaneously.

Anonymous, Nov 2018
Cons (-) There’s an ongoing strike. Starts at 6am and ends at 10pm. No peace or tranquility at all. Can’t sleep with the constant drumming. They try to drown out the picket line drumming with loud Hawaiian music. Riducolous. Sheets had sand.

Pros (+) Location was good.
Cons (-) Rooms were much smaller than I expected. We stayed in the renovated stayed and the bathrooms were nice but even with just 2 people the room was very crowded. The staff weren’t very inviting. It seemed that they have special treatment to the groups more than the other guests. We were never acknowledged at the restaurant at the hotel or any other staff for that matter. We pretty much had to ask for ...

Pros (+) Location
Cons (-) This hotel is a rundown crappy hotel. I’m surprised Sheraton allow them to put their name on it. The rooms are worse than any motel 6 motel. The only thing good I can say is the housekeepers did a good job.
