10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect and the hosts were very kind and friendly.
Cons: The size of room was too small. With our luggage, we had a small tiny area to move around.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very kind friendly host, clean room, enough toiletries, good Wi-Fi connection, nice welcoming tea and healthy breakfast, like living old korean style house, good location, Jeonju old city central, easy to find this Guest house next to "Donghak Revolution Memorial Hall".
Cons: It takes time to control temperature of floor heating. Smaller room than I expected.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was small but comfortable, clean and the hosts were helpful and kind, very friendly. The host helped me tell the taxi driver over the phone and helped me call a taxi when I left! Breakfast in the morning was simple but a nice touch and the floor mattress was really comfortable!
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hosts, very friendly, really good English and gave great tips on what to see and where to eat. Also gave us tea and snacks on top of breakfast during our stay and included a packed snack bag for when we left. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.
Cons: The mattress was a little thin on hard floor.
7.7 Good
Pros: Owner was nice. Gave fruit and hot tea. Also spent time to explain things that were around. Bathroom was modern. The best part of this place. Well heated in winter. Location was right in hanok village.
Cons: My room looked bigger in the photos. The single room is much smaller in person and know that the top floor is not big enough for a full grown adult to sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was very cozy. Traditional hanuk with modern fitting. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but hospitality of staff was amazing.
Cons: Nil
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were wonderful, they made the experience even more special. They were very helpful and wanted us to feel comfortable. The location is right in the middle of the Hanok village, yet it was very quiet at night to sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was extremely clean and cosy with an attached bathroom, absolutely perfect for a solo female traveller. For those travelling in the summer, air-conditioning is strong but there’s a small fan provided as well. The b&b is within the Jeonju Hanok Village, so it’s very centrally located (slept well, no noise at night). Had a breakfast of fruit, toast, and hot green tea in the morning. The hosts were very genial and lovely - they provided me with a map and restaurant recommendations, and gifted me with snacks and water before I left. Would highly recommend staying here!

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hongranmiduk in Jeonju, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Jeonju Hanok Village and Jeonju Korean Traditional Wine Museum. Featured amenities include express check-in and express check-out.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff was really nice. She introduced what we should try in the hanoak town, call taxi for us and speaks good English. It was clean and nice.
Cons: It was a littel bit smelly since it's wooden building.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located. Attractions are within walking distance. The host was so helpful in assisting us to find the way and to write messages to taxi driver / ticket counter in Korean. Great Hanok experience. Beautiful garden.
Cons: The bathroom is too small with now separation between the shower and other area. So after a shower, everything is wet.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay in this traditional house, very nice architecture and sleeping on futons was a 1st time for us ! Nice location, inside the hanok village and 10 mins walk from the sanctuary. Helpful staff and good breakfast in the morning.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: - we had some delay and there were no issues with the check-in - friendly service - beautiful hanok
Cons: - breakfast could have been Korean food, it was just toast and peanut butter, jam but better than nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The lady was very nice and helpful.
Cons: I expected more for breakfast. It was bread, jam, peanut butter, soy milk, coffee and tea.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good value for your money.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location was very good. The owner was very friendly and gave recommendations on places to go and restaurants to eat at. She also replied to text messages quickly and made sure the temperature in the room was comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast was below expectations as I thought there would be a place to sit down to eat. Instead, it was just a table with some bread and spreads. It tasted good but was a bit of a surprise.
Happiness Full Guesthouse - Jeonju - Building
3
9.1 Excellent (112 reviews)
S$ 58+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Happiness Full Guesthouse in Jeonju, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Jeonju Hanok Village and Gangam Calligraphy Museum. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The friendly host lady knows only a few words English, but communicates perfectly and is very helpful. >My room was a typical traditional Korean Hanok room, very small and simple and with a hard futon "bed", but with a modern toilet in the tiny bathroom..
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Cute little place, good location. Owner has minimal English but went out of her way to help us feel at home and find everything we needed. The place is impeccably clean and felt safe.
Cons: This was our first (and only) stay in a traditional Korean style room. The only negative thing I have to say is about the level of comfort that provides. I read this entailed “futon mattresses” that you roll out, which is fine by me. I’ve slept on a futon for years. That seemed to be a bit of an overstatement. The mattress in question is roughly the thickness of a nice bath towel folded twice. The pillow was a bag of rice, in a case. I’ve had better padding when I go camping in the woods. As far as I can tell, this is typical for the style of room this was, not any skimping on this particular place’s part. Just be clear on what you’re getting.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great. I loved the host. She even called me a taxi. Beautiful garden.
Cons: Nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It is a really nice guest house, although the host lady cannot speak English, but she was trying the best to help me out during my stay. It’s only about 10-15 mins drive after getting off the express bus terminal to the guesthouse. It’s located just in the Hanok village, and it’s quiet and convenient for me to travel around in the village. The village is really beautiful in autumn, which is full with golden and red leaves! The room is small but comfortable, the floor is warm and really can let you fall asleep in a few seconds! Last but not least, because I have to travel back to Cheonan on Sunday, but during the peak tourism season, the bus ticket nearly sold out at that morning and foreigners cannot buy the ticket in the app without Korean local card, the daughter of the host was really friendly to reserve the last ticket for me and even took me to the bus terminal to enter the card details and get the ticket for me ^_^ In a word, it’s worthy to stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location and amazing place. The room was so beautiful and the hospitality was sublime. It was comfortable and very traditional and that thanks to our host and was really kind! She explain to us everything, where to go, what to visit, where to eat: very recommended!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a wonderful little Hanok House located right next to Cheongyeong Gazebo. The host doesn’t speak English but she gives you a tourist map and marks the best places to see and eat. She’s a lovely woman!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It’s a very clean and comfortable traditional house. The 이모 (aunt) or host of the house make me feel homely..
Cons: Probably the mattress is too thin but it was fine
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I really liked the experience, it was a very nice cozy house. The host was also very friendly and tried her best to help you. I saw some reviews who said the room was on small size but in my opinion it's a great space. The location is also good. A little bit confusing to find tho.
Cons: If you have some problems with your back it may not be the best option to sleep on the ground.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Facilities and amenities were clean and nice.
Cons: I took a bus from the Jeonju bus terminal. It was a bit hard to find a hotel; you might save some time to grab a cab instead of trying to find it on your own. However, it was just a bit difficult to explain the location of the hotel to a taxi driver so I gave up.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean. Nice staff
Cons: Location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 1. Big, beautiful room 2. Big, comfortable bed 3. Big jacuzzi bath 4. Lots of free amenities 5. Well equipped room 6. Two computers and a giant TV 7. Free drinks and popcorn 8. Breakfast brought at the door 9. Lots of convenience shops around 10. 50 euros a night for all of this Great experience overall
Cons: Two cabbage & ham sandwiches, one cup of coffee and one cup of orange juice was all the breakfast for two people. Location was a bit remote, but still within the city, with great public transportation links.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean, comfortable place to stay.
Cons: The place is the easiest to locate, especially when you are new to the area.
7.1 Good
Pros: Lots of little extras, bathroom was nice but no spa bath Free premium coffee and popcorn in foyer Breakfast included although limited options and only served in room Staff didn’t speak English but made lots of effort with google translate and very helpful
Cons: No spa or hot tub as stated on facilities by booking.com I think it was more a translation error, but at end of day It said there was a hot tub and after a long day travelling that is what I wanted not a shower.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Hotel reception is small. Breakfast is cooked by two ladies in the morning in front of reception and deliver to my room. We couldn't wait and grab the BKF from the tiny lobby with coffee from their coffee machine. Didn't like there are noisy night clubs nearby. We stayed just one night on our way so it is a clean, simple boutique hotel. If you have no car, not recommended.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff and modern decor.
Cons: Far away from tourist attractions, too hot a night, no room temperature control and very clear bathroom (and romance) sounds from other rooms. Staff didn't answer calls to front desk about temperature or noise. A fancy brothel.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanest, services
Cons: Size of the room, required a small table and chairs, space to leave luggage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, good location in central Jeonju hanok village, last but not least YK is a nice & helpfull owner. Recomended Hanok stay..
Cons: nothing, all beyond expectation
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We chose Gaeunchae because the photos on the website made it look charming and beautiful. The location is incredible (albeit a bit difficult to find at first) but the best part about Gaeunchae were the hosts. YK immedietly added me on Kakaotalk and helped us so many times throughout the trip with recommendations, and even booked us bus tickets to our next destination in Busan. He was always willing to help out. We slept wonderfully, in a very clean room. We will definetly be returning whenever we come back to Jeonju. Super super experience all around.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner welcomed us when we got there. He took his time to give us a detail introduction and recommendations. Also let us leave the luggages for a few hours after check out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing experience, room was super clean and much more comfortable than expected. The host was super helpful. All in all, I can only totally advice staying here.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was brilliant, right in the traditional Hanok village, but in a quiet location away from the main busy streets. The village itself is large, lots to see, quite touristy in the main streets. Owner was very helpful - contacting us before we arrived by WhatsApp, gave us good restaurant suggestions (everyone should try bibimbap, it's delicious), making sure we knew how to find Gaeunchae, sorting out a room for us on arrival as we arrived very early - that was very helpful as we could leave our bags and then go and explore. His manager spoke a little English and was also very helpful. The room was just as we had expected and sleeping on the floor with futons etc. was fine and a great experience. You discover you don't need furniture after all! There was also a place to leave your luggage.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location ! Inside Hanok village.

Pros: If you know what you’re getting yourself into when you’re staying at a homestay, it was great. The owner was especially friendly and accommodating. The room had a fridge, it was warm, the room locks were modern, and bread/jam/tea was served in the little kitchen. We booked a double room, which included two floor mats and two blankets. Free wifi! Free shampoo and body wash in the bathroom. The location is very central and walking distance to the attractions in the Hanok Village.
Cons: The check out time was a bit early (10:30am) for us, but it seemed most people had left by then anyway. Cons: It is little hard to find the entrance to the guesthouse, cuz it is in very little alley which seems like dead-end.

Pros: Love the location of the hotel! Smacked in the heart of the shopping area of Jeonju! The bus stop to the hanok and bus terminal is also a short walk away. For those who dont mind the walk, you can walk all the way to Jeonju Hanok Village which is less than 1km away! The room is spacious too!

Pros: Location
Cons: Pillow and bed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really comfortable beds - I haven’t slept as well in a hotel in a while. Room was very clean and quiet. Central location close to shops, restaurants and sights.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Housekeeping was very friendly
Cons: When we arrived the towels in our bathroom had stains on it, the lights flickered on and off on their own throughout the night, and the phone in our room didnt work either. We ended up checking out 4 days early.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything good
Cons: Breakfast miss more fresh fruit and bread options
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Though I would have preferred a double bed or larger, I found the bed very comfortable.
Cons: There was a damp musty odor in the room and hallway- that was not pleasant. They had used an air freshener scent to cover up...that reminded me of a hospice I had to visit recently. I suggest using a scent that has a clean herbal note.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Stuff are friendly yet it was too expensive ….
Cons: Suit was $300 per night, however, quality of the hotel was only $100.
