Pros: Excellent. Tancho is the best
Cons: 3rd time to stay at this hotel....We requested 1 queen or King bed in our room instead of 2 doubles.
6.7 Good
Pros: The view
Cons: Room was a little smaller than expected.
10.0 Excellent

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is great.
Cons: The room ‘executive’ is small.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff Best location - connected to Sapporo Station and major shopping malls (Stellar Place, ESTA, APIA, DAIMARU) comfortable bed and very nice view Very decent spa facilities with real natural hotspring
Cons: pricey breakfast and no free parking for guests
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent if you need access to the Stellar shopping/restaurant centre or the JR station. The staff were very helpful and highly responsive. Many spoke very good English.
Cons: The bathrooms were clean and very well stocked but one of them had an odd smell. The rooms while labeled as non-smoking clearly had been smoked in. I don't know if that was permitted but the smell woke me up and my throat hurt from it. Air purifiers are placed in each room but I think that is a part acknowledgment that guests smoke in the rooms (whether permitted or not).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The best location in Sapporo. Nice breakfast with great view on the 35th floor.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location right above the JR station, subway, bus station and a taxi rank, so getting out and about couldn't be easier. Comfy room, small but efficiently planned bathroom, great view! Staff are all fantastic - very warm, friendly and helpful. Loved the breakfast at Nijo Market - bbq king crab's leg and scallops. Simple but delicious. A must-try.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very convenient. Just next to Sapporo Station.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A well located hotel. Lots of shops and restaurants and bars in the complex plus the JR train line and subway. We had a corner room so a great view of Sapporo. Much better value than some other hotels we looked at. Very pleasant staff eager to please
Cons: No complaints.

7.9 Good
Pros: Very good shower room. Nothing beats a fantastic shower after a long day. Well organized room albeit small in size but understandable considering its location in the city centre.
Cons: Cold staff for our first day of stay. Only welcoming staff is a nice guy, whom I cant recall his name; called taxis for my group in the early morning to Sapporo JR. He even sent us to our taxis and helped us with translation with our taxi drivers.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was just a five minute walk from Odori Park which, during our visit (September) was home to the Autumn Food Festival. It is also an easy walk to nearby stations and the tram runs along the road just 30 metres from the hotel's front door. There are also numerous convenience stores close by if you need any essentials. The staff were very helpful and most spoke good English. Breakfast was good but a little expensive. If you buy tickets for the breakfast the day before it works out a little cheaper.
Cons: The bedrooms were a little small and you could only get into a double from one side as the other was hard up against the wall.

7.1 Good
Pros: good traditional Japanese food good hospitality and service at 6-floor small hotel but more friendly service great view of creek
Cons: food: I was ok with food, but dad got sick after eating raw fish Onsen water is not as good as noboribetsu small parking lot
6.5 Good
Pros: good food and good onsen.
Cons: The front desk check-in clerk wasn't too courteous. Her English was good but her attitude wasn't impressive. We asked a question about the extra credit card fee of 3.5% but she avoided answer or didn't care. Also, she did not explain other details use of facilities very well. Fortunately, the assistant who guided us to the room was very courteous and helpful. Also, I sent them a email asking for the possibility of changing a smoking room to a non-smoking room but never had a answer for that from the hotel. I was disappointed with their ignoring my inquiry in advance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The dinner and breakfast were outstanding in quality and presentation. The staff were very polite and attentive. The public bath was also very good and well appointed.

Pros: The view is really nice, located very near to the valley. The food is fabulous. I was so amazed by how they served the food. I especially like the morning juices, super delicious! Because it’s not a peak season, so I got to soak in the outdoor bath all by myself! Wonderful experience!

7.9 Good
Pros: the hotel was clean and nice the facilities were new the environment was cool
Cons: the location was not great..
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Extremely helpful staff. Laundry facilities available. Offered incentives for Eco policies, (not replacing towels etc unnecessarily ever day). Cafe on site.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, very clean. Free towels, pyjama and tooth brush. Big and nice bathroom. The bed is quite large, I'm tall and I was very comfortable. You can let your luggage at the reception after your check out which is really convinient. Everything is nice and new, I rest so well in this hotel.
Cons: No free coffee or tea.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Such a trendy modern hotel with an excellent coffee shop downstairs. The room was small but not too small and quite comfortable.
Cons: The check in process is quite long and they give you so many little bits of paper. They seem to be quite eco-conscious so we were quite surprised with the excessive use of different vouchers and bits of paper. The lobby was also quite strange as it is part of the coffee shop so we weren't sure if it is usable 24h or not. Location is also quite far from downtown Sapporo.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Boutique style, great atmosphere in the lobby, cafe area.
Cons: Breakfast too minimalistic and poor show only allowed 1 coffee. You have to pay for a 2nd cup. Its a walk or metro into Sapporo, so you are out of town. Other hotels closer to the centre offer better value for money.
7.9 Good
Pros: It was easy to find, near the train station and bus stop if taking the bus from the airport. I liked that it provided towels, bath mat, toothbrush, toiletries, slippers, and a pair of pajamas. The shower room was also spacious. the bed was comfortable.
Cons: I would’ve rated it excellent, but the place would’ve been cleaner if we could leave our shoes outside the bedroom. The curtain was also very noisy. My roommates were not very mindful of others. In the wee hours, it was very noisy when they were drawing the curtains. Constant drawing of curtains kept me awake. In addition, it was very hot and dry inside the room as we could not adjust the room temperature to accomodate others. Maybe change the curtains? It would have been a comfortable stay if my roommates were mindful of others. The person on top of my bed was fixing her luggage on her bed and it kept me awake. When she fell asleep she snored very loudly. One guest also put her big luggage in front of my bed which was supposedly my space for my luggage. It was a little difficult to move. Maybe a reminder would be great so other guests would be mindful of other guests. The food downstairs was a bit pricey and the menu did not have a wide selection especially their breakfast set.
6.3 Good
Pros: Clean, spacious facilities and relatively cheap price make it attractive at first
Cons: At night, in the dormitory 2075, I was well bitten multiple times by bed bugs. I turned the lights on and saw a couple of them on the wall & mattress. August 2019. It looks like they know it and try to get rid of them, but I'm disappointed they still offer the room for travellers. Apparently they don't know how bad bed bugs really are.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are modern and well equipped. The bar on the ground floor is a great place to chill (the coffee is great)!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A little tricky finding the hotel despite the directions emailed me not helped by the lack of street signs in Sapporo. But once there Potmum was excellent, splendid accommodation. Well-appointed dorm room, restroom, hot showers, quiet, comfortable space. Friendly, helpful staff — at the front desk and housekeeping — would stay at Potmum again. Appreciated that my Visa card was billed in yen with no extra surcharge. WiFi was generally very good though there were frequent, frustrating signal drops if only for a few seconds, enough to muck up in-progress airline ticket purchases, hotel reservations, etc. One area that was a bit confusing for this first-time visitor to Japan was that my hotel bed came with toothbrush, toothpaste, towel, pajamas — all things I normally travel with — but the hotel lounge area with its microwave, electric kettle, frig and sink, came with no utensils, plates, cups, nothing with which to prepare and eat a meal, not even a paper towel. But I guess that’s why we travel, to see how others live.

Featured amenities include luggage storage, laundry facilities, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff’s friendly
Cons: Deficient in natural light
6.7 Good
Pros: Long bed, some have a window (can't open). Clean. Cozy.
Cons: Too tight. Placement of bathing facilities, one shower. Poor internet in room. One staff will, "watch over" the common space, almost like a silent conductor at a podium--I assume they are making themself available for help.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, really make you feel welcome Good location, about 7 minutes to station Beautiful park and restaurants nearby. We rented a row boat for 600 yen/40 minutes! Nice zoo only 600 yen! Not too far from markets, convenience stores Very clean A/C in every room Capsules were big enough, didn’t feel crowded Nice kitchen, pots/pans, etc. Free coffee and tea Free “breakfast“= 1/2 ham & cheese sandwich Plenty of hot water in clean, modern shower Surprisingly international and friendly guests I would recommend this place and would come here again Thanks Igloo!
Cons: I liked pretty much everything about this place, but... The men’s sink area was small (not a big deal, just noticed how the women’s was larger and nicer).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff are a delight, as are most of the Japanese I have met. Free breakfast and tea/coffee included. Great price, great location and the three young ladies running the place were lovely to be around.
Cons: Nothing, at 55 I should know a dorm would be a little noisier than your own room.
6.7 Good
Pros: I like it is just located between two metro stations.
Cons: This hostel seems to be a little unorganised. I thought, normally, for safety reasons, there are some specific rules for visitors. However, according to what i saw, the staff let a visitor came in (even showed that guy the way in person!) And left an empty counter... And that is not the end of the story, in the first night I stayed, one girl (I stayed in female-only room btw) brough a guy and made "some noise", you know what I mean, for all night long! Before I left the next morning, the guy didn't leave. Too ridiculous!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome and comfortable! The staff were all super friendly and did everything and anything to make us feel at home! Would highly recommend!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The house was very pretty and cozy. The living-room was super chill. The staff was amazing!
Cons: There isnt a lot of space in the female dorm. The hole house is small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were amazing, they introduced you to the other guests when you arrived, and made you feel welcome as part of the group. They even had a list of their favorite restaurants that they gave us to make sure that there was nothing that we missed out on
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Cozy environment with a nice common area with free coffe and tea. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed. The breakfast is a simple egg sandwich but it's enough to get you going.
Cons: I was supposed to stay at igloo dorm but seems the bunk bed broke or something, so they send me to the next door time and space. The room I stayed had some weird smell, but you get used to it after a while.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Igloo is an amazing hostel that I can't recommend enough! The staff are super lovely and the vibe is very positive and if I ever visit Sapporo again i will definitely stay there! -Theo

5.0 Okay
Pros: like the room, spacious comparing to other hotels, good price. having Lawson (the convenience store) attached rite next to the hotel
Cons: location not convenience, 3 mins walk without cover from train station, no problem if you are driving. Housekeepers sucks, didn't wash the cups, didn't replenish water bottles or bath salt, didn't take the towels hang on the hooks, didn't vacuum, i found tissues under the bed, no one reminds me to turn the fridge on before use, there is no safe box in the room, the concierge staff are lazy in working on restaurant bookings...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our room was spacious and comfortable with a generous bathroom. The breakfast was a good buffet with a reasonable choice- although there were not a lot of western dishes. The Hokkaido yoghurt and butter were worth having though! The location was excellent- close to train stations and the Susokino area. It was great having laundry facilities- we did have to pay for these but not much. Loved using the brand new gym too. Lastly the staff were wonderful- so friendly and helpful.

Minutes walk from the subway, many restaurants and shopping around, and the morning market is within a few minutes walk. Only drawback I can think of is the room is a bit small.... After you open a suitcase it becomes difficult to walk around.
7.9 Good
Pros: it’s situated near two subway station making access easy. There are a number of restaurants nearby. The staff, both front desk and housekeeping were friendly and helpful.

Pros: The location of the hotel is simply perfect for the Sapporo city area and the Deluxe Twin Room is very spacious, easily accommodating a family of 4, and it was very clean. There is a very convenient paid parking next to the property. The reception desk staff were very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely return to it when I visit Sapporo again.

Such a prime position makes Best Western Sapporo Odori-Koen the ideal option for both business and leisure travelers, and all guests are guaranteed a warm welcome - whatever time of year you choose to visit!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable room everything worked perfectly and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful at the reception.
Cons: Glad we didn’t pay £11 pp for breakfast.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is great! Room is cozy with complete facilities.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Simple yet everything was there. Small cafe with breakfast.
Cons: On our 2nd night they shut off the aircon and switched on the heater for all rooms. We were hot and no option except to open the window! Maybe I should ask for a refund!
7.1 Good
Pros: - The beds were pretty comfortable. - Bathtub included in the private bathroom. - The breakfast buffet selection is good. - Laundromat available at the hotel. - Located across Odori Koen and easy to access other locations by foot.
Cons: - We tried to switch on the heating in the room because the temperature at night was quite cold (low/sub 10s), but the heat mode for the aircon didn't work. When we enquired about this at the reception, the staff said that they switched off the heating for ALL guest rooms because there were complaints from other guests that the heating was too warm. Their solution was that they'd give us extra blankets. We asked about this on two separate occasions, and received the same response and solution each time from different staff members. - The hotel is rather far from the train stations (approx. 20 min walk from Sapporo station), so I would suggest taking a cab to the hotel (probably 1,000yen or less) if you are bringing large and heavy luggage. - The room we were allocated is a little oddly positioned and small. Had some difficulty in placing and fully opening the luggages due to lack of space.

Pros: A large room and comfortable bathroom. l like it japanese house style.
Cons: Quite far from station by walk.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love its location. Its just in front of Sapporo Factory. Its so ideal for first timers in Sapporo. Sapporo station is 15 mins leisurely walking distance. The facilities and the staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is clean and roomy.
Cons: Nothing.
8.3 Excellent

9.6 Excellent
Cons: Nothing
7.1 Good
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good.
Cons: The process to cancel and change the reservation was terrible. So i spend a lot of time to explain about situation.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Overall, this was a very nice stay. Reasonably-sized rooms for Japan, pleasant staff, and overall a good value. Being across the street from the Sapporo Factory mall with lots of good dining and shopping options makes up for the fact that it's not very close to downtown (plus there is literally ALWAYS a taxi immediately available). Breakfast, while not included, was still a good deal with their coupon.
Cons: It was farther from the city center than I would have liked, and I would have liked in-room coffee and not only green tea, but that is pretty minor. Our mini-fridge did not work but we managed.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: nothing,都不满意
Cons: Room is small, site is far , hotel is old.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast and I was really comfortable when I was here
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bedding. Toilet facilities excellent.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The bath.
Cons: No sheet on the bed. Just a duvet. Far too hot.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, large bed, nice onsen to relax. Surprise offer - free coffee during the day and free noodle soup in the evening.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very close to the park which was hosting autumn food festival.
Cons: Pillows are very hard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located at a popular shopping street. Very convenient. The hotel is clean. It offered free Raman noodle for supper!! The buffet breakfast is expansive but has lot of variety!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness of the hotel
Cons: With the front desk staff I encountered it was difficult to make them understand because of the language barrier . Howe, that’s my fault as much as there’s as I can’t speak Japanese!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Dormy INN is one of my favorite brands of hotels. They provide all these little extra services during your stay to make you more comfortable - free ramen as a night snack, open bath on the top floor, free laundry services (dryer is pay per 15 minutes), and free shuttle to the Sapporo JR station in the morning after you checked out. All considerate additions to just a hotel stay. The room is regular Japanese standard size, which is not very big, but OK with me as I was traveling alone. All bathroom amenities provided, plus more if you are using the public bath on the top floor. The public bath is indoors. This hotel is located right on the Tanuki Koji Shopping Street. Besides shopping along the pedestrian only street, there is no lack of eateries anywhere you go around the neighborhood. The hotel provides a map of restaurants nearby and gives you suggestions if you tell them what you like. The free morning taxi from the hotel to the Sapporo JR station requires booking the night before you leave and it's only one directional when you check out from the hotel. I took a taxi from the Sapporo station on arrival to the hotel and it cost slightly close to 1100 yen during busy hour traffic. A cheaper way to get to the hotel would be by train on the Namboku Line. Two stations from the Sapporo JR station + seven minutes walk from the Susukino station after you get off the train. If you are not bringing a huge suitcase, this is quite doable.
Cons: I could see the open bath area getting crowded if a lot of people should decide to use it at the same time. Not an extremely large facility.
7.1 Good
Pros: Room was tiny. Service was good and complimentary ramen was a plus. Location was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I always put up at the Dormy Inn (Premium or Annex) if available. The room is clean, the staff are friendly and supportive, the public hot springs (you can enjoy both of Annex’s and Premium’s) are special. and the breakfast is amazing with lots of local products. The location is just perfect.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I am very fond of this hotel, having stayed here on my various visits to Sapporo. Its location in the covered Tenukigoji Shopping Arcade makes it a convenient place to stay, and is welcome for returning in the evening if it is raining. The staff are very helpful and pleasant, and they make it a relaxed place to stay. Breakfast is very good, with plenty of healthy choices. That it is served til 10.00am each morning is welcome if you are a late to bed person. I love the Onsen, and that it is open through the night, which means you don’t have to rush back to use it. The free laundry service is a real plus, as is the free taxi service to the JR Station. The double room is comfortable for a single person, but might be a tighter squeez for a couple.
Cons: The number of tv channels is very limited, and there might have been more accessories offered in the room, for example a sponge and cream lotions. It’s not cheap to stay here, but is to be expected, especially at weekends, in the summer season. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to any visitor to Sapporo.

Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
6.7 Good
Pros: The Dormy Inn Premium is in a great location on TK 6 (covered pedestrian area), close to many restaurants, bars, convenience stores and transportation. The room was functional with a separate toilet and shower.
Cons: The smoking room on the floor is not appreciated. While it is a non-smoking room, smoke obviously travels so the smell is ever present. The walls are paper thin. Every movement next door was heard as were people walking/running up and down the hall in the middle of the night.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything was good.
Cons: But tiny room and bad washing machine. After washing, bad smells from clothes.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location
Cons: Bad is not soft enough
9.6 Excellent
Pros: nice location near Odori park. Though Onsen was quite crowded at night, it was big enough to take a full rest.
Cons: none
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, great breakfast, free taxi to station, room was comfortable.
Cons: Nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: I enjoyed my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, with a good choice. The Onsen, open through the night, is great. Having the free laundry service is another positive, and really appreciated. The free taxi service to the JR Station, another plus. Overall I like the atmosphere. It is relaxed and pleasant.
Cons: It is not that I did not like anything, but it was not a cheap place to stay, and I stayed mid-week. The basic amenities are provided in the room, but I’ve stayed in hotels where they also provide, for example, a sponge and cream lotions. The choice of channels for tv viewing is very limited, but that is more down I imagine to location. The positive reasons to stay in this hotel far outweigh any negative. This is a very good hotel to stay.
7.5 Good
Pros: Bathroom was smell
Cons: Cleanless
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Dormy Inn is very convenient and best location. There are a lot of foods and many things to do. I had my first Onsen here, it was very nice. If I have the opportunity, I will go back again.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Aircon was very good and working The room has shower booth too Refrigerator is equipped Pillow is farm enough and I could sleep well Fabric spray is nice Location is nice; a lot of souvenir stores and eating places around
Cons: Breakfast was average for hotels in Sapporo which was a bit disappointed Shared bathroom is nice to have but always crowded (Annex seems to be less crowded and premium seems busy because it looks like more Japanese in premium who like shared bathroom, and Annex could have more foreigners.

Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location inbetween the sapporo station and Odori park. Room was big and the bed was comfortable. Would defiantly stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful and friendly. Newspaper delivered to room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great - just between the main subway station and the main train station and either could be accessed underground (good in inclement weather). Also the bus from new Chitose airport stopped right at the hotel. There were so many choices for breakfast and everything we had was great. Breakfast was great - so many choices both Japanese and western and had locally grown items.
Cons: I can't think of what anything that could have been better.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was superb. Short walk from Sapporo station, close to Odori park. There’s connected underground walkways that span quite far and has so many stores, so you can just stay down there if the weather is bad. Staff was very welcoming, polite and attentive. Even when we put up the no housekeeping sign they still asked if we wanted bottled water refill. Room size and amenities are adequate. It was more spacious than Tokyo hotels.
Cons: Property itself is quite dated. Also quite pricey but I guess that’s the cost of hotels around the area. They also don’t provide late check out option at no cost, so we had to pay extra (noticing this more and more with hotels in Asia).
7.5 Good
Pros: Excellent location, close to many sights and the train station.
6.7 Good
Pros: Did not take the breakfast so cannot comment.
Cons: The bathroom tiles were not cleaned properly, yellow stains could be removed to make it more comfortable.

6.8 Good
Pros: Good location. Rooms were ok but felt like it could do with an upgrade.

Pros: It’s in the center of everything that you’ll need.
Cons: Nothing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent, centrally located to most everything in Sapporo. Staff provided good service. There is luggage storage if you arrive before 15:00 (note that early check-in is not possible).
Cons: Mattress was too firm for me. Room smelled of cigarette smoke even though it was in a non-smoking floor.

Pros: Great location and good service

Pros: We stayed in a standard triple room and like everything about the room. Room temperature control was good. Bed and soft beddings were clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was super efficient and helpful. Breakfast was also good. Toyota rent a car is so conveniently located in the basement. The hotel location is also great. We are looking forward to checking in again to a supreme triple room on 17 Aug.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very good location - less than 10 min walk to JR station, Paseo, Daimaru; less than 15 min walk to JR Tower, Stella Place, Esta. Many shops and restaurants in these places. Many places of interest are also within 15 to 30 min walk. A convenience store is across the road. Excellent service. Very clean room and very comfortable bed and pillow. Toyota Car Rental shop is in the basement and the car park where the car is picked up from is connected to the hotel. Very convenient. We really like this hotel.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, spacial room
Cons: Perhaps need “deep clean” in the room, e. g. Air-con outlet, some high parts
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel, Close to Sapporo Train station - easy walk. Close enough to everything without being on top of it.
Cons: I think we paid way too much (due to World Cup Rugby - they certainly charged a premium for that period - guess that's how the system works!)
7.9 Good
Pros: The location to the Sapporo Station and comfortable rooms.
Cons: A member of our group was charged for water from the fridge which was also available free of charge. Very confusing and disappointing.
