The staff was very friendly at all. I had a big room with balcony and everything I need was present. the room and the bath was clean. A half bottle of red wine as complimentary was appreciated! ;-) The elevator system is smart, what is cool, so the transportation / waiting time was very short. At the dinner buffet the deserts are very good.
The hotel and the rooms are aged and the best times are over. It looks a little bit like a hotel in the GDR. Because the rooms are fare from being cheap, the owner may make enough money to start a renovation. So, i.e., the doors and windows trough the balcony lost all sealing and the curtains are moving in the wind.... Like everywhere in Jerusalem, parking is a problem. there is a bigger parking lot directly at the hotel, but it costs 40ILS/night. Because the Corona crisis and restrictions, there are only a few of guest left in the hotel and the breakfast closes the live cooking station. The selection is wide, but kosher, so no meet. At a 5* hotel I assume to get a American breakfast. A big pan of scrambled eggs, fried eggs and Shakshuka are available, but it looks like cooked last evening and the eggs are swimming in milk? So even by looking you do not like to taste it at all. There was only a dinner buffet available and everything warm is very oily.
Toilet didn’t flush. Dated rooms. Long waits for elevators.
Very spacious room, rich Sunday breakfast, Yael from guest relations went out of her way to make sure we got everything that we needed and wanted. Free parking, great location.
Shower not the best.
Nothing at all.
Iwas charged the wrong rates for having Laundry done, and in one Instance charged twice for the same Laundry.
We thought we were staying at the leonardo plaza in King George street and not the leonardo hotel in saint george street! Bit of a shock. Having gotten over the shock, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom needs updating as there was a chip in the bath and the part of the tap that changes the water from bath to shower came off in my hand! The breakfast was good. We were happy. I liked that the toilet was separate to the bathroom.
As above. Bathroom needs updating. Breakfast needs better organisation as there were no plates available so people were waiting for plates.
