Location is ok if you drive (most people there are driving anyway) Not much more
We request an upgrade and they offered a room with Jacuzzi that we accepted for an extra $20. Not sure if the other rooms are like that but ours had a structure in the middle of it, right in front of the TV. The room looked like a basement with some leakage stain on the ceiling. The floor was stick and dirty and the jacuzzi had a thin layer of grease on it. We asked for the ice machine but they said it was "out of order". Nothing was done to try to solve the situation. The guy from the reception just said "sorry, that is it. No ice". Don't recommend
Pet fee was too high. It was very dirty. Hairballs floating around and some sticky substance on the counters. Not encouraging during the pandemic when hygiene is so essential. I've stayed here before and it was not so dirty.
Nice big room huge bed great Jacuzzi (need more instructions on how to operate)
We had no towels provided to us even after asking for some found a random persons shirt behind the bed
Staff we’re accomodating, room was spotless, and the location was perfect for us right across from Aberdeen mall and walking distance to hiking trails!
Guys - I usually book in chain hotels such as holiday inn or ramada etc. This small motel I tried on a whim with my partner suggesting it. Not only did we get a king size suite with a loveseat and a spa bath but we also got it for 50$ less than the other hotels in the area. Save your money and give this spot a chance. The bed was the most comfortable I've stayed in - better than a 5 star resort and the spa bath was fantastic. I can't speak for the other rooms but the next time I pass through kamloops I will be coming back to this hidden gem without a doubt. The pictures didnt do my room justice.
The only small thing I didnt like was I could hear someone walk upstairs but it did not interrupt my great sleep in the amazing bed
