Pros: Bar staff were amazing and super helpful! Beautiful place on riverside that is still walking distance to town. Very relaxing
7.9 Good
Pros: Excellent guesthouse with bungalows - a bit out of town (2km) but hired motos easily and gives access to the wider countryside. Bungalows themselves - a bit tight but comfortable, with fan and all clean. Nice place to hangout, especially bar by river and staff very helpful.
Cons: Loads of mosquitoes in one of the showers!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff & owner, great location (5 mins ride or 20 mins walk from town), perfect rooms, VFM, great views Helps to rent scooters, taxi, tuk tuk, bus, tours, laundry, and much more Spent my 2019 Xmas eve night here and fell absolutely in love with the place and the people Special mention to Margot for her super helpful services and tips on things to do ! Anton & Sofie the owners were wonderful as well.
Cons: No soap provided in the room and no Hot water
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Kampot cabana is the highlight of my trip !!! As soon I arrived I get charmed by the lovely cabans & the terrasse nicely decorated AND I felt welcomed as a friend by the amazing staff. Best option if u don’t like the backpacker industry but if u still want to make friends. U can find intimacy and also nice people to talk with. Food is great, cocktails are yummies, location is great close to the center ... Above all ask Margot to tell u about all the hidden gems to visit in Kampot and u won’t be able to leave that place
Cons: If very windy & light sleeper, bring ur earplugs to avoid the road traffic noise in the morning.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: - The ubication, right next to the river - 20min walk to the city-center and 5min by motorbike - Beautiful common area to have a beer after a day excursion - The wood bungalow with private bathroom, including hot water and high pression shower - Recommendations from Margaux to visit the area - Possibility to rent cheap motorbikes on spot
Cons: - The bed was not comfortable at all - old mattress - So that you know, roads in Cambodia are not in a good shape and it is not that easy and safe to move around by motorbike
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The value for money is great! Our Bungalow was nice, clean and everything you need. We did not have warm water, but who needs that in that hot country. The staff was great and we got inspired for a nice tour with a rent motorbike. The atmosphere of the hostel is great and invites you for some good cocktails at the river side. Would definitely choose it again when traveling to Kampot
Cons: Nothing. Was a great stay!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very peaceful location, it oversits the river and is in a great location, everything is nearby, great information given by the staff and the food was excellent. The wifi was not strong however !
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice common area/deck, adorable animals and super friendly, welcoming, helpful staff, Margot especially.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Feels like home. The staff are amazing, Margot, Anton, Sophie all so friendly and accommodating.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are large and very comfortable to stay in. The Family suite we stayed in had ample light. Breakfast although limited is good enough compared to other places in Cambodia
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the rooftop bar where we received a free glass of wine on our first night. The food at this bar was very good and the service friendly and thoughtful.
Cons: The information about tour availability in the area could have been better so possibly having a tour desk or a staff member trained to help with this would be an improvement.
4.8 Okay
Pros: Very quiet place to simply chill out and relax. The bed was comfortable and you have the option to turn the air conditioner or ceiling fan on.
Cons: The shower pressure was low and there was no shampoo. Also, the safe deposit was not working.
6.0 Good
Pros: Loved the small pool-garden-breakfast area. Decent sized room, big windows, bath is a plus. Overall clean, decent space-planning. But be advised, no elevator in hotel, might be an issue for the elder.
Cons: Somehow strange staff, gave me the feeling I'm not truly welcomed, except the oh-so smiling housemaid. No sound isolation whatsoever... undemanding doors with visible gaps that you could stick your firnger in, shiny stone surfaces and low usage of soft materials only makes this worse. Very limited options for breakfast but tasty. Basically Useless wifi (under 1 mbps ⬆️⬇️) Hotel is bit overpriced for Cambodia, but not much similar options you have in Kampot.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property is very clean. The room is large and clean.
Cons: No complaints.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: superb room good breakfast close to the river
Cons: nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome place, extremely nice staff. Best mattress I've had in Cambodia so far, and the receptionists are the kindest people I've had the pleasure to meet. Would recommend again

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Freindly staff, central location
Cons: Hotel very quiet as re-painting
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: excellent breakfast, extremely kind and helpful staff, you can see the attention to the environment of the owners, great structure
Cons: the doors do not prevent hearing noises from outside so a little bit of noise during the night
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and the food at breakfast was great.
Cons: The room had nowhere to sit if you wanted to read. Although the staff were pleasant they were not good on tourist advice.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: I liked the fact that it was a bit more out of Kampot and that it was really quiet. Also the meal options were nice
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We mostly dealt with who we presume is the Co owner, in the morning. She was really nice and helpful The rooms are really well designed and well priced. We had a lucky upgrade to the tower room which was very special and worth it if you have the budget We really enjoyed using the pool table and chilling in the communal area. Food and drinks were really nice Perfect location for a nature getaway however if you want to explore the area, like we did, a scooter is necessary
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Bungalow was clean. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Food menu was also sufficient for the location.
Cons: It was a bit far from the center of the city.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very quiet place, good food
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very relaxing place. Good location for kayaking on the green loop.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place with great food and nice vibe
Cons: Dirty and smelly river
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ganesha Eco Guesthouse is set within beautiful gardens full of tropical plants. We especially enjoyed lounging our time away in the sheltered hammocks beside the natural swimming pool where it was very peaceful. The quality of the food in the on site restaurant was excellent, even for vegans like us! The restaurant area is a pleasant and a comfortable space to be at any time of the day but especially in the mornings with a delicious French press coffee. Our bedroom (double room with balcony set within the main property - not one of the separate huts) couldn't be faulted; comfortable bed, clean and tastefully furnished bathroom etc. We also very much appreciated that we could rent bicycles directly for a one-off fee of $3 per bike. Having bicycles made it easy to get to and from Kampot which is approximately 10-15 minutes ride away. The benefit of being 4km away from the centre of Kampot is the quiet and peaceful location. We also liked the freely available filtered water, the eco-minded and caring approach, the excellent on-site laundry service. Finally, all of the staff were incredibly lovely and went out of their way to make our stay a great one. They even helped us arrange our excursion to Rabbit Island and kept some of our belongings and valuables safe whilst we were gone for five days.
Cons: Whilst for us it was a benefit being away from the hustle and bustle of Kampot centre, it's not really walkable and so either a bicycle, motorcycle or tuktuk is necessary.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wanderfull, amazing, great, fantastic!!! Thank you Stefanie! Wandefull woman! Like a owner she is as owner is great. Whatever we needed, she helped. amazing resort, quiet and beautiful. great location, amazing personal and delicious food. We recommend!

Pros: Lovely boutique hotel in a great spot on the river. The staff are excellent, very attentive and thoughtful. Thank you
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely large room with privacy garden area. Spacious tub and separate shower. Traditional wooden house with breakfast area and some rooms. Surprisingly Quiet , even though a children’s carnival and night market are next door.
Cons: Slow shower drain.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were huge, great space, bathroom clean and big, plenty of space for luggage and a beautiful personal touch on the bed to welcome our family. Loved the animal towels each day.
Cons: Nothing negative to comment on.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Makk is a small cozy hotel, with exceptional service and cleanliness. Loved that they put extra efforts to welcome their guest/s by putting a welcome note on the bed as well as making sure to put on an aromatic diffuser that smells heavenly when you entered the room. Cleanliness were always on point during my 3 days stay, breakfast was fulfilling with local, continental and vegan set menu.
Cons: None.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location during daytime. Very nice breakfast. Clean and big rooms.
Cons: Location is good during the day, but in the middle of a night market in the evening. Then it sounds like a disco until 11.30h or later. A bad one! Rooms can be noisy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had travelled from Phnom Penh so when we arrived we were absolutely relieved to be in a tranquil environment. The grounds are well kept and peaceful. The staff are lovely and all amenities are within walking distance.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing room, great outdoor space, well thought out. Really nice welcome on arrival, thank-you.
Cons: Took ages to check-out.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Great location but way overpriced
Cons: Out dated needs a renovation
7.1 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, very good breakfast
Cons: A little away from town, rather noisy, room opened directly onto restaurant
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was amazing - freshly prepared & the view from the dinig area is really nice. The rooms were really clean & cool. Pippali Boutique Hotel - Kampot - Pool

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free self parking is available onsite.
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast OK. Room excellent. spacious, clean, all facilities, great shower, large comfortable bed. Location fine, in relation to town. A 12 minute stroll.
Cons: Not the fault of the hotel, but currently in the middle of a building site. Therefore a 07.00-07.30 alarm call whether you like it or not. New condominiums / office going up in the next street. The pool area was always in shade due to the row of palm trees that have been planted. The hotel has been extended along the side, so the website photos need updating.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff!!! Friendliest on my vacation by far! Well maintained rooms, comfy Beds and well situated on the river!!!
Cons: NOTHING
7.1 Good
Pros: Relaxing atmosphere during the day, nice layout with bar and pool. Within walking distance of the town.
Cons: A little past its best, door difficult to lock, the safe was a bit temperamental and we couldn’t find all the light switches to turn off the lights so had to remove the key which turned off the air con. I finally found the switches above the sockets! The main issue for us was that there is a night market that springs up which played very loud music, yes it finished at about 11pm but personally I did not want to sit out around the pool with a drink whilst that was going on. If you just want somewhere to lay your head there are cheaper properties in town.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice pool. Great food.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a great location, opposite the river & within easy walking distance of a good choice of restaurants, shops, etc. Our room was comfortable & with a ceiling fan, we could do without the air conditioning (which is there if you want it). This hotel is the only hotel in Cambodia in which we stayed, which had notes in the bathroom to suggest guests re-use their towels, to help the environment; they also provided toiletries in large, refillable containers (instead of disposable plastic ones) - Well done, Pippali
Cons: Nothing to dislike! We would stay there again if ever in the area.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The Room was very nice and the Pool area is inviting.
Cons: Restaurant was closed for the day, In House Restaurant was one of the reasons why we chose this Hotel. No Towels with check in ... sorry we have no more towels!! They forgot to book our taxi order for our departure to the airport. Took 1 hour to organize another one and made us a very, very nervous and bad departure. Tried to contact the management but never received an answer.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Not too far to town, away from the worst of the litter and sewage in the streets. Big room with functional bathroom and great shower heads. Nice view of local street side markets from balcony. Across the road from a very good restaurant. All staff friendly and smiling.
Cons: Pool looked lovely but the pit with the wooden cover next to it smelt of sewage. Only one reasonably trained front of house staff member - like staying in fawlty towers. E.g., tables cleared at breakfast but then staff hid behind counter eating left overs instead of taking orders. Had to ask 3 staff for milk for coffee - once when ordered, then when first staff member forgot and another came to ask if we needed anything else, then at the servery. Paid and told the person in charge that we needed to leave early and ordered breakfast. 30 minutes later we caught his eye and he passed our order to the kitchen and 20 minutes later we left without finishing breakfast. We only recall one of 7 days our breakfast was served smoothly with cutlery and the items we ordered from a small set menu. Poor communication - staff knew before breakfast that there'd be no power till the afternoon but didn't tell anyone unless asked. Internet crashed early morning, someone came to check it late afternoon. We watched as a room was stripped, bed remade, inspected, and mopped by four people, then within 20 minutes, another person came and stripped and remade the bed - while we were waiting by the smelly poolside till 3 pm for our room to be cleaned.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ahh staff are aMazing and helpful. Barista is smiling and friendly. Filipino.music band is super cool, songs are fantastic, and the sound is just perfect. The manager, Sam, gave us an upgrade in our room. wow.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nice rooms, but the hotel itself is giant complex in the middle of national park where it should NOT be. It’s 5 star hotel but the servise and the stuff wasn’t good and helpfull at all. We were really disappointed and sad when we left.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The Nom Pang Pate was good. When we checked out, they actually notify us about what we forgot.
Cons: Tried the buffet dinner, didnt have anything much to eat. The food didnt taste good, charged 15$ with a 5% service to receive no service at all. No one came to take our plates. The in-room dining had a whole menu but once called, they said they dont have that and we have to go to the Cafe or Bar to order and bring it ourselves. First time checking in, the receptionist wasn’t professional at all. She didn’t greet us to our liking, no smiles to a new day at all. I showed her the booking confirmation on my phone and still cannot manage to know which site it was booked on. She was fairly happier once we decided to extend our stay for another night. After extending our stay and paying on the next day, they cleaned our room but it was barely cleaning. They left the trash in the room, only changing our towels and making our beds. Their Australia beef steak, was not to my liking. I ordered a medium well and it came to me as well done and even said it shrunk because we chose MEDIUM WELL. The shoes in the room looks like it’s never been washed and have been worn by hundreds of people. The room decoration was barely anything and looks like a guesthouse. It doesn’t look like a five-star hotel at all. The security and people out front didnt know how to do their job well. No greetings when guests arrive. It was raining and no one decided to bring an umbrella to help us ??
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Mad Monkey Kampot Hostel - Adults Only in Kampot, you'll be 6 minutes by car from Kampot Salt Fields. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at this hostel on Christmas Day. On arrival before checking in received a free cocktail and a Santa hat. The hostel is super clean best hostel I’ve stayed in. The staff was super welcoming and friendly. We made our own pizza’s for dinner which was great. The vibe was just so positive. Definitely recommend! The staff made us feel at home. They also had an ATM in the hostel which was definitely a bonus and handy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: As usual mad monkey has come through as a perfect place to stay. Amazing vibes right on kampot river. Hostel offers great tours. Beds and bathrooms spacious and clean.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Hmm...
Cons: Apart from the bed, the room was pretty much bare - no desk, refrigerator, kettle, storage space for clothes; noisy fan, though this was replaced for my second night - and it was more expensive than similar offerings in Kampot. Also I did not take to being asked to pay for my food at the pool bar before it had even been cooked. Pool was out of order!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hostel far exceeded my expectations simply because the staff made this trip so much better! The tours they organise are very knowledgeable and fun, the staff at the hostel (both Cambodian and Foreign) are super accomodating and make sure you have a great time. The facilities are similar to other hostels but absolutely nothing to complain about!
Cons: That I could only stay for a few nights.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was awesome, Nina and the guy with pink hair were awesome too, along with the rest of the staff who made me feel super welcome- the guy and the girl working front desk were even more helpful than I could have imagined! food was awesome, very inclusive, loved the vibe
Cons: an electronic system would have been fab
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The people I meet and the location.
Cons: Swimming pool not working for the whole stay. They said they would fix it the following day, never happened. Coffee machine not working either. Non of the days . Staff not friendly at all, they seemed to be bothered for anything you asked at reception. Towels for $5 but they say you need to return them cleaned !! And they charge you $2 for the laundry when we saw everywhere it's $1. No curtains in the beds so no intimacy. No lockers either . I do not recommend it . There are other hostels which are cheaper and offer more facilities.
5.4 Okay
Pros: I like the location which is close to downtown and bars in the town (2 min toktok). And there was an ATM at the hostel.
Cons: The bathroom wasn't supplied by shampoo and body gel. Only with a very low quality of soap. The doors were with old lock, opens by key which are easy to break and there was no save in the private room. Therefore, I was worried where can I keep my valuables.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: On the first night there were some spiders in the room and my bedsheet was stained with blood probably because it was old which I didnt make a big deal of but on the second night I had to pay 15$ "cleaning fee" for the same old bedsheet (which is triple the deposit you have to leave) because I had to throw up from the beer which they actively encourage you to drink all the time. I thought this was kind of strange practice for a party hostel and especially because no one could really tell me why and how this fee comes together. They also held on to my passport and didnt give it back to me before I paid all the fees which was really scary since you cant even stand your ground when they literally keep your most important document from you. It wouldnt have been as frustrating if there were any hints to these rules before but neither in the hostel nor on their website I could read about this and dont they clean their beds either way before a new guest checks in??

8.8 Excellent
Pros: This was a comfortable place with 2 lovely pools and friendly and helpful staff. The views from the suits were beautiful. Although 3kms out of town, it was an easy and quick commute in.
7.0 Good
Pros: We ended up having to stay an extra night, so we had two different rooms as our first booked room was not available for two nights. The extra night we could only book the room that was available. This room was very old with a old bathroom the room was clean but we didn't want to spend much time in it! The second night we had booked a river view room. This room was amazing compared to the first room, we were on the first floor and had a massive balcony area overlooking the river, the sunsets were stunning. I have to say the food at the place was pretty good. The staff were helpful but while we were there we did see a older grey haired chap (maybe the owner) having a disagreement with a local staff member at the bar in full view of everyone - it was just not nice and very unprofessional. Overall good value for money but do book one of the nicer rooms.
Cons: The location was good but be prepared to catch a tuk tuk into the town area. We paid $3 each way.
7.0 Good
Pros: - the swimming pools - the trampolines - great for kids - the family condo was bright, spacious. - we didn't use all of the facilities but the large choice of games - the big riverfront for nice sunset pictures - many activities available (we didn't use)
Cons: - wifi didn't work most of the time - the double bed room was dark, small and terrace was smelly during the day - noisy at night, sound proofing not best.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Our kids loved the 2 pools and trampoline. Spacious rooms with huge balcony with view of river and enjoy the sunset.
Cons: Food was ok. Bit out of the way in terms of location, although easy to arrange tuk tuk. Staff not very helpful when trying to book sunset boat (their boat)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great quiet location next to river. Great staff.
4.0 Okay
Cons: Rude and unprofessional staff.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable hotel close to center of Kampot old town.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This place is a little gem tucked away on a quieter street but still just 10 minutes walk from the active part of the city. There are no eating facilities on site but there are little restaurants next door for breakfast or a late night snack or beer. For $19 US I don't think you will find a better place. You just have to ask them to make up the room before you go out for the day.
Cons: There are always things that could be done better, but they try hard here to make sure you are happy. There is no glaring problem with the Ny Ny, except for those on the upper floors since it is a walk up, and remember that it is cash only. No credit cards.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I stayed here several times. Its always a good room considering the price. Nothing to complain about. 15$ a night at counter.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was not far from the river, huge spacious room with two windows that opened. The staff were lovely. Next door to an excellent restaurant.
Cons: Everything was good

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very, very friendly staff! Great food (addictive banana bread), Lovely natural pool, nice jacuzzi and spa... Remote location, but the city centre is only a 10 min drive by tuktuk. Absolutly perfect! We've enjoyed every minute of our 5 days stay!
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Great value for money, located in the forest just outside of town, such a magical vibe! But you will need a bike to get around from here. Has a free sauna and spa included and close to amazing waterfalls. Michelle is lovely !
Cons: Nothing !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Food was very nice, comfortable bed, nice garden and swimming pool
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bohemiaz is a little oasis in Kampot! The staff were really friendly and the owner was super helpful. We were really impressed with the menu and the quality of food as well, 50% off on Monday nights was a nice touch! Gluten free and home comfort food was brilliant. The natural pool was lovely but we especially liked the outdoor jacuzzi, which was excellent after a long hot day exploring. The room was very clean, loved the little huts. The place was away from the busy centre which we really liked as we were away from the hustle and bustle. My girlfriend had a few spa treatments there too, well priced and she said they were fantastic. Overall, a very cool, very well priced, very relaxing place to stay while in Kampot. Definitely recommend!
Cons: Nothing. Everything was great!
7.9 Good
Pros: Great if u need quiet and space, u don’t hear the traffic. It s a bit far from the center then it s worth it to rent a scooter. The swimming pool is great :) I was sleeping in the hobbit hole, that was very simple but pretty !
Cons: Atmosphere at the bar wasn’t the most charming, but the staff is nice. Food price too expensive for Cambodia.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We were a group of nine people and we absolutely loved it. It has a great freshwater pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, mini gym (didn’t use gym

Pros: Lovely staff. We were created by a nice guy in the reception and we had a great stay. It is a bit far from the city but it didn’t bother us. It it part of the charm
Cons: The facilities are a bit worn out.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent stay at La Java Bleue for the first day of reopening after a period of renovation. The talented owner redecorated each room in its unique style from original local antiques. The location is just excellent, right in the centre of town. The staff is really caring and the bedrooms are nice and large. The hotel has only 6 rooms. The breakfast is awesome, with a large selection of bakeries and fruits. Thanks to Christian, Thierry and Khom for the welcoming and excellent service. Definitely my place to stay when I come back.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: the locaton was great... we had the Chinese room, great walk in shower/wet room come toilet! having a balcony was lovely too... the red chinese ware in the room was great too! the breakfast was good and plenty of it...
Cons: not much... the evening bar was non-existant, perhaps a little off the beaten track for passing trade? we had internal stairs to the Chinese Room and there was a glass panel letting light in from the external hallway... some nights it took ages before the light was switched off so that our room then was completely dark!
6.7 Good
Pros: Large room, all equipment working
Cons: Very old and no proper reception and staff not professionally attired. Looks more like a private home.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing, it would be better to stay somewhere else.
Cons: The place is dirty and the owner is another than it was and it is a decadent place, they don't care at all about the guests. Don't make the mistake of paying the breakfast here! They don't like to have extra work!
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location Rooms look beautiful
Cons: The ac doesn’t work in room 2 and they don’t care .. not fixed , no apologies even though they where told upon check in and no discount of any kind.. I live in Cambodia and will never stay or recommend this place to anyone.. the rooms looks as good as the pictures but no bathroom amenities at all and no breakfast, rude staff .. wow this could of so easily been a 10 star review but the management of this place is a joke .. don’t waste your money .. stay somewhere else
4.6 Okay
Pros: The location is perfect. The bathroom is nice. The wifi works.
Cons: Unfriendly staff greeted us and couldn't find the booking that was made. We got Room no. 3, the Khmer Room, and it smelled awful. They probably used some kind of cleaning product but it was wretched. Had to leave the windows and doors open because of it. The AC was close to nonfunctional. The air never hit you and even leaving it on all night (with all the windows and doors shut of course) did not cool the room. Swinging did not help either. I'm not a fussy person but wow. The bed was terribly uncomfortable too. The balcony door also needs some force to close. All in all, this is not worth $45. And there's no breakfast included either. It is a beautiful building. Just wish they would make some effort
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location and beautifully decorated clean rooms. Very hot water.
Cons: Only one aircon in the family suite. In order to (hardly) cool the room downstairs you need to put the aircon upstairs full throttle and to freeze the room upstairs. I cannot say that the staff was unfriendly but they seem very absorbed in their smartphones and make little notice if your presence. For me it was ok but it might put some people off.
7.1 Good
Pros: The wide variety of foods . Excellent value. Friendly people .
Cons: Unreliable services of buses and mini van used from Battenbang to Kampot . All passengers were made to take luggage on board the overnight bus ( RNL red bus ) . They were using the storage for transporting goods . Mini bus was constantly stopping to take on more passengers ( 22 total over the five hours ) . The guy taking money also bribed police when the minivan was stopped . All passengers saw that . I have photos . Cannot recommend this travel to anyone ! Corrupt !!! Illegal .

Cons: No hot water (despite the fact it was promised), mold and fungus on walls. strong smell of fish from the market.
7.0 Good
Pros: Comfortable, clean, good location.
Cons: The staff could have been much better. We were given a key for a room on the 3rd floor (no elevator). We entered the room to find it was occupied with guests. Back down to the reception desk, no apologies just handed another key for 2nd floor. This time ok. If the young guy would get off his phone (especially when customers are standing at reception) then things would improve instantly.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Two beds
Cons: Mold in bathroom No breakfast Option Barely englisch speaking reception
5.0 Okay
Pros: Big bed, big room. Coffee supplied in the room with kettle. Shower pressure was very good. Guy on the front desk was friendly.
Cons: It's a building site, half of the building is being restored so therefore it is extremely noisy and dusty. We had read reviews from a year ago saying this was happening but nothing since then but obviously they have made slow progress. They really should let people know that this is going on as it starts at 6:30am and is very noisy. Come downstairs to find my shoes not under the bench where i I had left them. A lady 2 shops down called out to ask if i was okay. I said i can't find my shoes so she then pointed at the shoes she was wearing. She then chucked them at me with no apology. If i hadn't come downstairs would my shoes have disappeared? Also there is no window in the room which wasn't clear Lastly, sometimes there would be an awful smell of sewage in the bathroom but as it wasn't too often it was bearable for our short stay.
7.0 Good
Pros: Good location and cleanliness, They have Phamacy and small coffee shop there. The owner friendly and give good recomment
7.1 Good
Pros: Good location to walk most places if you don’t mind walking 10/15 minutes. I think the river with all the restaurants on was about 20 minutes walk. Far enough out it was quiet through the night. Very friendly and helpful young man working on reception. Fan was surprisingly efficient and kept us comfortable. Had a nice tv also.
Cons: Construction work going on and noise starts early in the morning on property’s surrounding. The sink over flows on the bathroom and the drain doesn’t clear so the water pools around a your ankles on the shower. The mattress had seen better days as you kind of sunk into it and lean over to one side. Flights of stairs upstairs to the upper floors but the young man helped us with out heavier bag.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything just so good compare to the previous place I’ve stayed on the island.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: For $8 we got a private double, private bath, with amazing wifi, clean and comfortable beds, and a modern, large Hotel Room. This place is amazing. (Extra for Air Conditioning)
Cons: Hot pipes ran through the back end of our room under the floor. Made it warm at night.

3.8 Mediocre
Cons: the place doesn't look like it show on the picture I spent two day on the property so boring.a lost of thing need to be updated .if not .it a one time for people like me .
5.4 Okay
Pros: Beautiful location on the ocean.
Cons: The staff seemed lost and confused most of the time. They didn’t know when breakfast started. The food was ok but the dinning area was not clean. TV didn’t work. The property was dated with many broken walk ways/ suits not so clean- our overhead mosquito net had collected much dust and dead insects. Beautiful location but in need of much repair and more staff training
5.4 Okay
Pros: The over all staff were very good and friendly They tried to accommodate to our needs
Cons: The GM , the lady there was a terrible person We left early because she was looking down upon me ... She even came up to reception after, to pick a fight with me and was terribly rude. She spent most of the time blaming her hard working staff and treated them poorly. I had to ask her to leave 2 times because I was done standing there listening to her lecture me about how she was in charge of the property and she everyone had to report to her. I’m afraid I will not ever go to sleep there again because of her. We always went there because my little girl enjoyed throwing a fishing line in the water ... I guess my little girl can go elsewhere for that. I just now feel sorry for the hardworking team that works under her.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's so amazing, location is so great room is clean and specious. I love this place so much. We will come back again for sure
Cons: Nothing, it's so perfect!!!
7.1 Good
Pros: Accommodation is spacious and clean. The pool is a good size.
Cons: Reception area is messy. Seats in hotel mini van aren’t clean. Baths in private patio area are disconnected, even though pictures of same appear in their advertisements. Some gym equipment doesn’t work even when plugged in & staff didn’t know how to operate it. Beach & sea are unclean. Overall it was disappointing considering we paid so much money.

Pros: Place, good stuff members, price.
4.0 Okay
Cons: Very bad experience staying here. I booked double room, they put me into twin room with two single beds without saying why. It says online that they accept credit card, but when I asked to pay they said it’s not working, I asked for bill, they said they ran out of bill.
7.5 Good
Pros: Close to river and town. Comfortable room
Cons: A little on the shabby side in the entrance but overall a nice stay
5.8 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable
Cons: Doesn't have hot water when the sun isn't out. So basically no hot water throughout rainy season. No fridges in the room. For $20 a night, you'd expect more.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: the location very near with the riverside and nearby with the shop just walk around 5 - 7 minutes you can find old market
7.1 Good
Pros: the hotel was modern and clean and we enjoyed using the Swimming pool
Cons: We found it difficult communicating with the lady owner. She shouted and swore at us for banging the bedroom door.WE thought this was unresonable. She wanted to throw us out ,however after talking to the husband the situation was resolved. This incident put a damper on our stay and upset the family.I would reccomend this place but keep away from the lady owner
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location was fantastic. Management kindly offered to upgrad our kids to a larger room for a minimal fee, which was much appreciated. Our kids loved to swim in the pool after a hot day of sightseeing.
Cons: The showers hardly worked and when they did the water was cold.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely spacious rooms that were kept immaculately clean. Huge bed, although just a little hard for our liking. The only thing the room lacked was a fridge, but this wasn’t a big deal. Great little swimming pool, because of the design of the buildings it only gets 1 to 2 hours sun a day, but it certainly wasn’t freezing cold, it made for a very pleasant dip! The location is perfect, 1 minute walk to the river, shops and eateries. For the price and with a pool you won’t find anything better this close to town! Staff were lovely, not a lot of English was spoken but they always had smiles for us. We would definitely stay here again.
