Hotel lobby and facilities were nice.
the hotel rooms could be updated, seemed a little older.
Yes it’s was
Everything was good
Yes, the bed and room were very comfortable
Bed was comfortable, too noisy at night in our room could hear people all night. Need to open lazy river and wet republic without that, the pools are mediocre at best.
More restaurants open, we were their on our anniversary first time in Vegas and all they gave us was a 25$ dining credit, pretty weak when you hear about all the cool was they take care of couples celebrating things.
Place was amazing. Bed was so comfortable. Great location at the beginning of the Strip.
We stayed here as the concert was here and the arena was a great place to see a show it was convenient to just walk back to room. Dinner at morimoto was delicious and service was superb at the restaurant.
Our room was in the west wing first floor. It felt like a bunker. The window curtains and sheets had holes in them. The room smelled musty. People and staff congregated outside our window all night long. If I had not booked through a third party I could’ve been upgraded or could’ve better left and went to another hotel
If the room reserved was the one I got. They say I was upgraded to another room. However the room I received was horrible.. low level noisy from outside.. If the room I got was an upgrade I would hate to see the room
Nice hotel Beautiful pools Room is fine TV options are good
This review is based on having been coming to Vegas for many years now and seeing all the changes especially in the last few years that are geared towards ripping off visitors so the casinos can make more money. I understand casinos have to make money but there is a point when they cross a line and are totally unreasonable and the casinos like MGM have crossed the line. It is a very disappointing. Vegas has turned into Disney properties. - no bar fridge in the room, they only provide their drinks at heavily marked up prices - resort fees which have been around for a long time should be part of the room rate for transparency - hotel guests paying for parking is outrageous - pool drink prices are absolutely a rip off, about a 10x markup on the cost - every year they further restrict what you can bring in for y our own alcohol to force you to purchase their over priced drinks - of course the prices at their stores are heavily marked up also
Room was clean and comfortable. My favorite part of my stay was the lazy river
Air conditioner would not go below 65 degrees F. I wish 62-63 for sleeping. Disappointed that the cost of a floating tune for the lazy river was $25
MGM was an amazing stay. Everything from the room to pools were great especially the staff. The staff were always friendly and over the top help. Excellent
I cant say anything good about this hotel I am sorry, This is the third time in as many years I have stayed here. Each year it has degenerated incrementally.
It took over 3 hours to book in, I was given a very bad room initially, but that was eventually rectified by a Good front desk manager. However the next room was only just "reasonable" so I offered to pay for an upgrade of 40 dollars a night and cut my loses.By this time 3 hours had passed. I then moved into a Celebrity Spa suite and the inside was very bad indeed. There was a cupboard door hanging off and the remnants of the last occupier was evident. I then complained to the manager but I was told there were no other rooms available. So I had paid extra to get a supposedly decent suite, but it is definitely the worst I have ever seen on the Las Vegas Strip. When I booked out, the receptionist asked me if I enjoyed my stay, and I told her about the shortcomings of a supposed 4 star hotel, but she surprisingly answered " well sir we are going to re-decorate all of the rooms next year".This was no use to me, I had just spent two of the worst days in the overpriced Spa room which was annoying to sat the least. I then walked 300 meters to the vdara 5 star hotel and paid exactly the same room rate as the mgm grand, for a further 7 nights, and the vdara upgraded me to a magnificent corner suite on the 40th floor at no extra charge. Please forget the mgm, you can get much better rooms for your money if you look around.I Can not give the mgm a lower rating....but this is my experience from 10-12 August 2011. Please consider the more upmarket and newer vdara hotel. You wont be disappointed.
Uncomplicated, easy airport check-in, close to airport, great staff and facilities, remodeled rooms in West Wing, view from room, lots of amenities.
Fitness center not included in room price.
very comfortable beds access to food any time and a good location on the strip with children
room was small
Fantastic casino with great shows.
Pool was closed. A lot of noise inside room. ie noise from neighbours and hotel staff inn corridors. No minibars in rooms, no fridge to hold icecold cocacola for when you wake up with a hangover.
we had to sleep to men in same beds because there wad no two double beds available . we where told by booking .com that we where to have to beds per room
The first girl at the reception could not find my reservation and was if not rude but not very helpful she made me make another booking.when I got held afterr making a new reservation the girl was gone and a got help from another member of staff and this girl was very helpful.called a managerabout the new and old booking took the old one cancelled the new one for me and sorted everything out very nicely...roomfacilities a bit dated.shower very poor.
Comfy room, plenty to do in hotel
It was good to see Vegas once but overall I'm not a fan and won't be heading back in a hurry
Loved the rooms we stayed at the signiture 2 years ago and thought we would try the grand as it was our 40th wedding anerverasry and my birthday but was disapointed as we informed the hotel of this before we came but nothing was said or done we just got messed about as our room keys wouldnt open our room twice and felt like we were criminals when 2 security cards came to open our room and made me open my suitcase to get my passport in view of people walking past
the way we were treated on a few occasions i felt like we was not important enough to rate the same service as the vip guest
cleaning room , good service ,, nice hotel for honeymoon
