Pros: One of the most friendly and welcoming B&Bs we have stayed at. The owners John and Ann were lovely, both when we arrived and at breakfast the following morning. They gave us useful information about local restaurants and were keen to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was superb, plenty of choice (including proper vegetarian and vegan options). Location great for the town centre but in a quiet residential street. Overall, fantastic hospitality and we intend to return again and will be recommending it to friends.

Pros: Beautiful old house. Great location, but on steep hill if you have trouble walking. Some lovely touches from the owner; A hardback book of her journey to buying the property full of little tips. Fabulous breakfast. I joked that I wouldn't need to eat the rest of the day and I didn't! Loved the period room and bathroom, as well as the Dining area/lounge. Fantastic garden which I didn't get a chance to enjoy.

Pros: Lovely homely hotel in beautiful surroundings. Think we were Room 5, room adequate, beds very comfy, shower very hot and powerful. Nice lounge, bar and restaurant. Food really really nice, we had the xmas menu then a full breakfast. Very welcoming and lots of choice for my gluten free friend. Staff were lovely. Great value for money and look forward to staying again when the weather is better as the garden was beautiful.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The welcome we received set the tone for an excellent stay. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The room was well situated airy. Although I prefer a bath, the shower in the en suite was very good. Everything was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was very tasty and very well cooked as well as being served in good time buy very friendly staff. Parking was very convenient and close to the main entrance. The location of the property is in a very quiet and safe area. We would definitely recommend this property and would definitely stay again.
Cons: The only possible improvement in our room could have been a mirror near the sink, for shaving instead of behind the person stood at the sink. We usually travel with our own shaving mirror but forgot this time. I am certain if we had mentioned it, the hotel would have lent us one. However, this was such a little thing, we didn't bother.

Pros: Super breakfast.
Cons: A few hooks in the bathrooms would be useful. Individual bedside tables are safer. We would always expect to have a chair each in our room. The water in the shower was far too hot.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was well appointed, clean and welcoming. The staff were discreet but attentive and friendly. Our stay far exceeded expectations.
Cons: The only minor criticism would be that only one pillow was provided per person. In all fairness we did not ask for this to be rectified as we had taken our own but I have since suggested it could be addressed.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: You need a new mattress in room 21
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location, nice venue bright and sunny at front. The outdoor pool is fantastic! It was cold, fresh, spotlessly clean and a joy to swim in. The lady lifeguard is delightful and an excellent advocate for the preservation of this type of facility with it many health benefits. Update and invest in the changing rooms and really sell this facility for there are very few in the UK! The beautician in the spa area was gentle and kind and accommodated our late arrival with grace.
Cons: Our room (room2) showed evidence of wet damage on the cornicing; damp staining. Parts of the lobby looked tired and dated in need of refreshing; paint and carpeting. The hot tub did not look clean. There was dirty looking scum/ foam around the edges of the tub and a hairline crack in the plastic. This can be a health risk. Sauna and steam rooms clean. Towels and bath robes hammered appearance from overuse and harsh laundering.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great room , loved the hotel would've loved to try the pool but forgot shorts so hopefully will visit another time.
Cons: Very trivial but not enough milk in the rooms. I am sure if I had asked I would of been provided more . Our room was a super size but when sat on the toilet it felt very cramped as my legs were up against the wall. A cooked breakfast option would be nice but what was available was nice .

Pros: The welcome was great, I felt at home from the moment I arrived. The place is lovely and clean , the room had a wTheonderfully equipped bathroom with a great shower. Even a mini fridge in the room, with chocolate in to buy. The bed was very comfy, and it was so peaceful. I could not fault breakfast, the bacon and sausages, obviously from a local butcher were a great start to the day, with a wonderful selection of fruit, cereal, toast etc. As a place to stay I could not fault it, and will definitely be back.
Cons: Not finding this place before

Pros: Mine hosts were very attentive and helpful! Breakfast was good on all days, with as much variety as you could wish for! Our room, which I believe was the largest on offer, with a separate large bathroom/shower, was very comfortable!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Stayed in the premium room on the first floor with a very large comfortable bed, room and bathroom were excellent. Cooked breakfast if required plus usual cereals etc. good hosts and gated car park for security. Property is adjacent the main road so there is some traffic noise but the bed would keep you asleep as it was so comfortable.
Cons: You cannot check in before 4pm although you may be able to by prior arrangement. Breakfast only lasts 8 to 9am.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The place was very nice and very comfortable. Breakfast was great. The owners were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. They even gave us a lift back to the station with our bags. We'll definitely be staying there again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The couple that ran the bed and breakfast were lovely. And our vegetarian breakfast excellent. We were given a lift to and from the pub for dinner as it was raining.
Cons: The only thing that was annoying but not really the hotels fault was the place to eat we went to that was recommended no longer serves food. But that was a very recent development.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old house. Great location, but on steep hill if you have trouble walking. Some lovely touches from the owner; A hardback book of her journey to buying the property full of little tips. Fabulous breakfast. I joked that I wouldn't need to eat the rest of the day and I didn't! Loved the period room and bathroom, as well as the Dining area/lounge. Fantastic garden which I didn't get a chance to enjoy.
Cons: Bed wasn't the most comfortable I have slept on and beware creaking floorboards from above. Minor quibbles and certainly not enough to stop me returning.
