The Naha Terrace - Naha - Building

8.9 Excellent (1,568 reviews)
S$ 255+

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. This hotel has 6 meeting rooms available for events. 8.8 Excellent
Pros: We liked the hotel in many ways, especially the decor, the open spaces, the general location. There is an ambience of refined living about the hotel. The room we had was a generous size which we were glad of after weeks in good hotels that had small rooms. The general location is good, beside major shopping area, excellent city museum and mono rail station. We were offered a choice of room which was appreciated. The hotel has a free daily shuttle to sister hotels half way up the island with beaches and other facilities which we happily made use of. The staff we were in contact with were very professional and helpful and we thank them for their attention.
Cons: The formal entrance to the hotel is in the wrong place close to almost back streets. We preferred the entrance via the third floor which took us to the up market shopping area. I was a bit disappointed in the cleanliness of our room and asked for the carpet to be vacuumed. I shouldn't have had to do this is a 5 star hotel, nor any hotel for that matter, but it had to be done. This was attended to promptly.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I left two jackets inside the wardrobe and the staff was able to arrange a courier to send me back, excellent service.
Cons: they should provide instant messaging for better communication or enquiry
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the top end of Kokusai-dori and 15 minutes from the center. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was grateful they let me swim in the pool even though it was officially closed. (I think the pool should still be open until end of October as most other hotels are.) If you are staying at one of the other Terrace hotels the free shuttle bus is convenient. If you are looking for a place to have a drink after dinner, check out the Bar One Way, just off Kokusai-dori.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and the staff was super friendly. Amazing customer service.
Cons: Nothing, it was everything as advertised
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Hotel located at a centralised area which is about 15mins walking distance to the shopping street, as well as 2mins walking to family mart! Staff were courteous and friendly with good service. Parking is FREEE which was awesome. Bed was comfy and generally, everything was good. Recommended to stay here!
Cons: Just that the WiFi didn't work properly but when we told them, they were able to give us a backup WiFi router! :) Thumbs Up!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The bathroom was amazing and the pool was excellent.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful. They helped with booking of taxis, restaurant recommendations and reservations etc.
Cons: Rooms were somehow very hot even though we turned down the temperature. Perhaps temperature was controlled centrally.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing

6.0 Good
Cons: cannot park if using 7 people car (I am driving serena) as the car too tall. I was instructed to go parking nearby but all full turn out I need to spend quite some time to find a parking. Also we have communicated by email before that there will be baby bed. We didn't see that in our room then we go to reception and got different answers "oh its not inside? we will send" then still no and we go reception again "your room too small cannot place baby bed" (well you said oK in email before) and ask us can choose bed barrier instead. After come back from dinner all barrier were gone and reception said, sure will bring baby bed to you (not room too small now???) probably some communication problem but thats not very pleasant to me
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: location
Cons: extemely small bed.
9.2 Excellent

Cons: Room was a little small
7.1 Good
Pros: The breakfast selections were fantastic . My kids look forward to the breakfast everyday . The location is ideal as well.
Cons: The room is small , the shower and the toilet is together. For a room to fit 5 can be challenging when it comes to luggage and walking space .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the second time I booked this hotel . Gonna come back for 3rd round soon. The Choice of pillows for you to pick , variety of shampoo for ladies to choose at the concierge , complimentary free flow sake n drinks at lobby . For those with little Children offers 5 diapers per night and other toiletries provided to meet your needs and ensure comfort is definitely super plus point! Near monorail station just a 3 mins walk . Situated near tourist attractions.
Cons: None
1.0 Poor
Pros: Please not stay in this hotel. Most people have satisfied with children friendly hotel and food quality, yet the quality of food is very poor. If the hotel runs out their food, they will not refill it. (If you arrive after 08:30)
Cons: They did not prepare enough towel, and the officer showed angry mood with this. A man tried to enter the room to count the towel. Do not stay this hotel. This is my recommendation.
5.8 Okay
Pros: All amenties were provided. And location was near the monorail.
Cons: Staff cant hardly speak english. Though they will use translator. Not helpful and friendly at all. Booked a family room that says 4 futons through here and another room for 3. When i book the room they only ask me to key in one guest name. So when i checked in, the lady took all our passports and noted that i have 2 kids and a baby and did not ask me anything. when i came back in late evening and realized that only one futon was provided, tried to communicate to the front desk. Both staff were so rude and insist they cannot do anything since it was so late even though i offer to pay. In the end i patiently ask and ask and say i will change hotel because we cannot be sharing one futon for 4 persons . Then he went to pick up 3 bedsheets for me and ask me to make do without blanket . Even when i show my booking to them as another room i also key in one person name but it was stated 3 beds and it was correct. And tried communicating, they insist i had to pay additional fee. So i just paid up in the end. Why will i need a family room if i am alone? So , will not come back to this hotel again. Service is non existent. Though they take pride in being kid friendly, they make us feel that all guests are cheapskate and try to get free stuff. So sorry i rather pay for a more helpful and friendly front desk then being scorned upon.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice and welcoming hotel, conveniently located very close to a mall and 10 minutes from the main shopping street. Quite close to the market and the pottery lane. Clean, with all the facilities.
Cons: Sadly their private parking was out of service because of an accident. We had to pay 1000 yen per night in a nearby parking lot. We only found out at our arrival, therefore this expense wasn’t planned. Also a bit expensive considered it was low season and our room was quite small.

Pros: I loved the room amenities such as the variety of instant coffee/tea sachets and the bathroom products. Most of all, my family enjoyed the 24hr lounge that provided free flow of soup, coffee, juices and sake. There were also items such as kid's pillows and shower products that were free for us take. We were pleasantly surprised with these extra perks. Location of the hotel was also fantastic, easy access to the shopping street and train station.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We got an upgrade to a bigger room as we were not able to take breakfast the following day due to our early flight out. It was a very good gesture from the staff. And the room comes with a massage chair. That certainly puts a smile on our faces..
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent, very close to two shopping centers and the Monorail station ! The staff was polite and professional. I liked the size of the room with a nice window providing lots of natural light. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Very good shower. Very good Internet. I liked their GREEN program to get a free bottle of water if the guest did not want the room changed every day.
Cons: The amenities in the bathroom were not gear to female guests and neither were the night gowns (the two left in the room had buttons on the right side only) . It would be recommended to include Body Lotion and a Shower Cap in the amenities. Also a Magnifier mirror will be helpful for ladies guests. After many bookings with booking.com I am certain that the rooms they award to the guests are not the best they have.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and location
Cons: None

Mercure Okinawa Naha - Naha - Building
10
8.6 Excellent (7,484 reviews)
S$ 119+
Overview Reviews
Located in front of the Monorail Station "Tsubogawa", Mercure Okinawa Naha is connected to Naha Airport in only 10 minutes, and just a 5-minute walk to the Naha Bus Terminal. Get your car right after check-in thanks to the Rental Car Desk in our Lobby. The hotel also offers a Bistrot and fully-equipped Meeting & Event facilities, making it the perfect place both leisure & business travelers.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great that it is located next to a Family Mart and rail station. Since it is near a rail station, access to airport is easy and fuss-free and can also take the rail towards the main shopping street. It was also nice that even if your reservation did not come with buffet breakfast, they do a free take-out breakfast that comes with a bun, peanut cookie, drink and banana.
Cons: The rooms are on the small side. Given that it is Japan, and that most toilets are heated and have smart technology, I was expecting the hotel’s toilet to be similar too. Not a big issue but would have been a nice touch if they were. There was no access to a microwave oven within the hotel which we needed because we needed to prepare food for our toddler. We wanted to do massage but couldn’t because it had to be done in the room but we had a sleeping child. It would have been good if they had a facility specially for massage or allocate a room for it.
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was ok and basic
Cons: There was a pungent smell. Could be coming from th drainage. There are some.strands of hair stuck on the walls.
6.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good, not too much but it worked out OK. Location, the hotel is a bit off the central part of town so it took quite a walk to get to the main shopping street.. taxi is recommended
Cons: As always in japan the rooms are small, no chance of upgrading was offered. The room was clean but then not so spacious. Also I asked for iron board which never arrived.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Just next to monorail station. There is also free takeaway breakfast.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very convenient. There was a Family Mart right outside the hotel. The monorail station was also 2 mins walk away and it is a 10 min ride to Naha Airport.
Cons: The room was abit too small for a couple.
7.0 Good
Pros: Pleasantly surprised by the takeaway breakfast for each one of us. Being right next to a yui rail station is really convenient. However it was fortunate it didn’t rain when we departed for the airport or we would have been totally drenched getting to the station with all our luggage
Cons: Drop off point was too congested. Needs someone to help manage the congestion especially on a rainy day. Too many (rental) cars parked near the drop off without any drivers in them. There were no tv instructions in English.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff clean good location
Cons: Size of room
8.0 Excellent
Pros: just a few minutes walk from mono-rail station a shopping complex is nearby
Cons: nil

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, room space and cleanliness, breakfast. Car rental available just within hotel complex
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel room is comfortable and staff friendly and helpful, location is quite good with lots of amenities nearby. However, Drivers with rental cars please be warned that unloading your luggage to the hotel before returning the car is a troublesome problem. Very inconvenient. The multi storey carpark is likely to be full, trying to locate where to park your car at the MSCpark to unload your luggage is very difficult coz of the tight spaces and no available lots. Can be frustrating if pressed for time. The hotel should either give advance instructions to Drivers of rental cars where to bring their cars to for unloading luggage or inform them to expect some difficulties.
Cons: As above. Also late checkouts should be extended more than just 2pm
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is superb! Just next to the monorail, and direct to the Naha airport. It is also need the tourist shopping area, plenty of food choices.
Cons: The room is small.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is very convenient to move around as it’s in downtown near to shopping area. Also very near to hotel which is why I choose this hotel for my stay.
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: Over the top breakfast Convenient location, very close to monorail
Cons: There are more modern options (with swimming pool) available at the same price point
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room, sumptuous breakfast and near to shopping street.
Cons: NA
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Our booking didn’t come with the breakfast option, but we decided to try out the breakfast one morning. We went to the front desk to ask for actions to take if we want to opt for breakfast and we were given a discount coupon to use in the restaurant! We really liked the breakfast, Japanese style with many dishes to choose from (the winner is definitely the French Toast). We also really liked the table mirror and the 3 in 1 charging adapter (lightning, type c and old Samsung type cables). The front desk staff was really nice to help us book a cab to the airport
Cons: I didn’t like how the kettle didn’t come with the option of reboiling, only keep warm. But the good thing is that the tap is safe for drinking and you can just pour in a new batch of water to boil I also didn’t like how the tv channels were mainly in Japanese and if you want to watch English shows or other movies, you have to pay.

Cons: NONE
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is perfectly clean, modern, comfortable, and in the perfect location for business and leisure travelers alike. The staff do not speak English very well. Fortunately, I speak some Japanese. The staff are incredibly professional, friendly, and eager to help all travelers.
Cons: Nothing. There is nothing to not like.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Only there for a night to visit ailing relatives but the hotel met our needs and were very accommodating to our late arrival. The breakfast was fantastic and on-site "onsen" was great. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Cons: On-site parking filled quickly. Access was hard to figure out and required more than one trip around the block. With a large mall next door, traffic in the area, especially on weekends, can be maddening.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast! Everyone of us really enjoyed it.
Cons: One of the two rooms booked has smoke smell even we did asked for non smoke rooms. It was replaced with another room on the same floor promptly. OK with that. Room is a bit small but we understand it is normal in Japan.

Pros: The hotel was located right in the centre of Naha, with the main shopping street just around the corner. The bar on the top floor was great, with live piano music, and an amazing view.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Pool is out of use from December to February but didn’t say so when checked on the Hyatt Regency website. So overpriced for the facilities. Should be customers choice to use outdoor pool in January when outside temp is 20-24 degrees c.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was ideal as it was very near to the shopping streets.
Cons: The air con was centrally controlled and there were nights when the air seemed to be a little still. The shampoo provided also seemed to have a “drying” effect on the hair.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I booked a suite so the rooms is spacious and had a great view of the city.
Cons: Kind of hassle to check in and park if driving yourself. Lots of people in the club floor for breakfast and the tables are so close you can actually hear everybody around you. Lots of loud tourists from HK so if you want to avoid them don't come here.

Pros: The location of hotel is within walking distance to shopping alleys and food outlets. Staff service is excellent particularly the concierge team - one of the best that I have come across.
