A beautiful venue very nostalgic, would highly recommend a trip here.
My parents enjoyed their stay entirely ... good food, nice room (except the squeaky floor boards), lovely hotel and right by the Aerodrome, all in all a great 3-day stay! They enjoyed it so much that they said they would like to stay permanently!
Nothing that they can recall and the weather was out of your control that weekend!
The Location is ok, very easy to find. Large parking space in front of hotel, free of charge. Good breakfast, nice restaurant with a good choice of food. Perfect for people who like planes, with a bit of chance you can see Spitfires starting behind the hotel during the day. Good breakfast. Very kind staff at the restaurant and at the reception. Large and comfortable rooms.
The hotel has many rooms and as the hotel is not in walking distance to any other restaurants, most guests are having dinner in the hotel. The restaurant is too small for all the guests plus groups coming from outside for a gathering.
Great location and terrific style in public rooms.
Howerever my room - whilst comfortable - tiny tv though - was a bit like a travel lodge in layout and feel. Appreciated the table lamp which was definitely not travel lodge. Would go back but was looking forward to something a bit special and was disappointed.
