Location was very good, you are just a short walk away from the walking market, however it had been cancelled due to Covid-19 while we were there. Plenty of restaurants and shops around the area. We only used this hotel as a vase to sleep in for two nights as we were out for the entire day doing the James Bond island tour. So although the hotel was very basic we only slept here and didn’t spend that much time inside the room otherwise. We didn’t really interact with too many staff members but the man on reception was very friendly.
Water pressure was non existent in the shower so showering was difficult with just a dribble of water. Photos of the hotel do not reflect the rooms accurately it was a lot more budget than the photos show.
• good value for one night • our room was pretty clean • easy to spot (literally there is a sign that says “SLEEP AT PHUKET”)
• we arrived pretty late in the night and there were men smoking outside of the accommodation (at the terrace) and I was a bit intimidated • there was a person screaming in the middle of the night and I could feel that the door was a bit open (even though we closed it) • we should have went with the room with an air conditioner because the fan was not enough • the photo of the lobby did not look like that when we visited :/
The receptionist asked us to give a bond of 500 baht each, that would be returned at the check out. At the moment of the check out, he gave us 500 baht only, saying thar the other 500 were to pay for the room rent. We said we had already paid for it at booking.com and he started to yell at us and speak to other people in Thai, so we wouldn’t understand. He basically stole from us right to our faces. I paid twice for the stay, this is ridiculous. I made a complaint through booking.com app, and I hope I get a reply. It was little money? Yes, but I do not like to be played like that, specially when I’m on holidays trying to have a good time.
Big, clean room. Well equipped. Friendly and helpful staff. Very quiet area.
Happy with everything.
Nice budget hotel with cozy and clean room. Bed was comfortable, good air-conditioning. Every day free bottle of water and new towel. Surprisingly it was very quiet place.
No ventilation, even in bathroom. Moreover cannot open the window. The only way to refresh the room is through the main door. Besides on the second day I felt kind of lacquer smell. It was a bit annoying. Maybe it was because some construction on the nearby buildings.
