Pros: The location of the resort was a fair distance from the centre of Senggigi but transport was not a problem as taxis were plentiful and cheap. The rooms facing the sea had breath-taking views and sunset-watching from the balcony was pleasant and easy. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, and there was even a fruit basket given to us. Breakfast was plentiful and the items changed daily so there was always something to choose from. The staff were marvelous, from the minute we arrived at Katamaram, we felt welcomed. There was always someone around to help you in any way, and we seldom get to see staff who worked with such dedication and cheerfulness, be it the reception, the restaurant, just about anywhere we ran into them, we were always greeted with a smile.

Cons: The toilet was huge but... could it have more lights?

Pros: We have stayed before and will stay again, all the staff were great, food was good and plentiful and priced compared to Bali I feel was exceptional

Cons: The only criticisms I have are a construction issues, the shower floor has no step or fall and the water runs out the door and into the bathroom and toilet, the lighting was dim and could have been a bit brighter for make up and shaving.

Pros: The Qunci Village is absolutely amazing. My partner and I have spent four nights at the hotel and we love everything. The room is super comfortable, clean and tidy. The sea view is magic specially for the sunset. The breakfast is phenomenal and the Italian food is unbelievably delicious. Amazing swimming pools and loungers. The staff are the best, extremely friendly and happy. It’s definitely the best place we have ever stayed

Pros: Everything! The hotel was so nice, we couldn’t find any words for it. The rooms are spacious, give a lot of privacy, the restaurant has an amazing view. We have seen the most beautiful sunset at the corner table of the restaurant. The pool was a great place to stay all day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. No doubt, I would stay here any time again. It is rather made for couples but even with my friend we had a great time and enjoyed our stay here.

Cons: IF I had to find something, then that it wasn’t clear to us that the spa wasn’t at the premises but at another jeeva location. However, the transport is organized by the hotel and it’s only a few minutes away.

Pros: Great service and amazing spacious villas - and one of the nicest boutique hotels we have stayed in. Will definitely come back

Cons: Food is very average for high cost of the stay but there are good eat places not far away.

Pros: We stayed here for one week during our honeymoon trip, following one week travelling around Bali. We thought that after one week of travelling around, it would be nice to have one base for a whole week. We knew the hotel was nice, but were really surprised by how lovely the rooms were and the private courtyard with pool and chill out area were amazing. The beach area, pool, restaurant and bar were also beautiful and the staff were very kind and always smiling. It is really an amazing place to watch a sunset. You can also swim on the beach, just not exactly in front of the hotel, but a few meters to the right. So beach access for snorkelign and swimming is also an option. If you want to lie on the beach for a day, probably better to go to the sister resort up the street, Jeeva Klui. We were there for New Years as well and while we didn't do the set menu, they had no problem with us ordering a la Carte. The staff put together a talent show, which they had obviously worked very hard for! Performances were great and set up was beautiful. Location was also perfect for discovering north and south Lombok. We took a scooter for a few days and a driver (taxi) for one day (for around 35€). All in all an incredibly relaxing week.

Cons: This is nothing on the hotel and probably our fault for not doing more research, but Senggigi doesn't have too much going on. We spent one day in Kuta Lombok, which was much more our vibe - more relaxed, more young people and just generally a more fun atmosphere. Also, the hotel is definitely for couples going to relax, which is great and why we were there as well, but it felt kind of "stiff" also on New Year's, which was a bit of a shame because the staff is so young and outgoing, but the guests, at least while we were there, were not.

Pros: Pretty much everything! Our villa was incredible. Huge, beautifully decorated rooms, a fantastic little private pool and the outdoor bath was a real highlight. All the design of the hotel seems really well thought through and looks great from the furniture to the pool to the beautiful flowers and trees. As there aren’t many rooms and the pool and restaurant areas are quite big, it is a really peaceful place and never feels crowded. It was lovely to be able to swim in the sea from the hotel and the sunsets each evening are amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive and made us feel very welcome.

Cons: Sadly the quality of food from restaurant didn’t match the rest of the hotel. The food was pretty average in quality overall, not really what you’d expect from such a lovely hotel. And there were a few occasions when things weren’t available which was a shame. The menu had a lot of choice of Western dishes and Indonesian cuisine, however, if you’re going to have a menu of that size then the quality of the produce / ingredients has to be better and consistent - the poultry was of poor quality and vegetables were often a bit old, for example. Also, there are very few vegetarian options on the menu. The kitchen will make some on request but you never really knew what you’d get and it’s not great having to ask every time, it’d be a better experience to have a few more options on the menu.

Pros: The resort is very nicely done, with independent rooms and nice access from the road and the beach. The main highlight of the room is the toilet and shower area. I will let you discover for yourself!! The beach area is calm and away from the busy area, yet it's a few mins by bike away, or a nice 15 mins walk. the restaurant food is very good.

Cons: There's a medium size pool, but if you're near such a nice beach, why use the pool?! The corals on the beach makes it difficult to walk into the water, but it's interesting to watch during the low tide.

Cons: Breakfast and in general the food in the restaurant was clearly below the average. Falafel was hard as a rock and the burger was unacceptable! The bikes were not maintained. The pool was also not clean.

Pros: Gili Teak resort is the perfect place for heath-freaks, they have healthy food, yoga, crossfit & it was a "clean-eating" "clean-living" experience.

Pros: One of the best resort I have visited till now. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. When you do your check-in the receptionist give to you “welcome juice” that its really good and fresh. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and very clean. The location its perfect As soon as you come out of the resort you can see the beach. It’s very clean and clear water, a very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The view of the sunset from that point was mesmerizing. I must say the location of the resort is at best place of Gili T.

Pros: The hosts had everything prepared priot to our arrival, and they welcomed us with a drink and fruit. They even gave us a ride to our room! The staff members are really friendly and makes your stay so convenient. We had to cancel a tour organised with the hotel last minute and they were (especially Paula) super hospitable with it too. Having the spacious swimming pool right off our balcony made the swim extra fun. We ended up staying in our room most of the time and didn't get bored at all. It was like a second honeymoon :)

Pros: The spacious villas. The cleanliness of the rooms. The bathroom was so spacious with a walk in closet. The pool accessible from the villa. The hot tub is very big and lovely made of stone. Well maintained. Staff were always working to look after the grounds. Staff very friendly and sorted things out straightaway. We had a lovely welcome.

Cons: The hot tub took so much time to fill. I had a problem with hot water in my room on the second day. They came to fix it straight away and the water was hot again but then the next day it went cold again. Couldn’t have a shower properly for two days as water kept getting out. As we were checking out I told them as we were leaving. I was given an apology and that’s it. I wasn’t happy as this is a five star hotel. Shouldn’t have had to go without a shower for two days.

Pros: The grounds and beach

Cons: The food was poor. Breakfast extremely limited especially for Europeans. The pizza at dinner was a joke. Poor base, smothered in thick cheese. Happy hour is not the whole bar as you would expect but a selection of the cheapest local beer, one make, one cocktail etc. we made a point of eating at nearby restaurants which we’re excellent. A complaint to the management meant nothing.

Pros: Fantastic location, staff were friendly and very helpful. The service was faultless. A lovely place to stay. Breakfast each morning was excellent.

Cons: Some of the facilities are a little old and tired. Broken blinds letting light into our room early in the morning, shower screen hinge was broken and could fall off at any time. Some lights were faulty.

Pros: Samiatra, Danial and the lady in reception were extremely helpful throughout our stay. Dayu during the breakfast run was fantastic as was the friendly chap who served us afternoon tea by the pool. Overall, it was a fantastic experience! The kids loved it. Having a private beach where you can lounge during the day or snorkel and eat dinner by at night was great!

Cons: The diving centre was very inconvenient at that location. Although they promote the padi cours, when we planned to book it, they discouraged us as the location was on Gili air. After some insisting and paying extra money for the transfer, we took the padi course. Unfortunately, it was an hour traveling each day back and forward so we didn’t made use of the hotel very much. So if diving is your intention, the hotel is not convenient. If you like to enjoy the luxury and the beach, I would definitely recommend this hotel

Pros: Location - situated far from the main island attractions, it provides a tranquil atmosphere. Wifi, although not always working around reception and beach restaurant

Cons: The beach is rocky, whilst entering in the sea proves to be a real challenge due to the rocky sea bottom (50 metres +) Staff does not give you the warm welcome feeling specific to the balinese people. Food is expensive, the hotel management is taking advantage of the remote location. Yet, the surrounding accomodarions are offering similar menu on a friendlier price. The room - i kindly ask the hotel management to sleep one night in one of the bungalows - you can imagine it acting as a surround system, where all the outside noise is being amplified indoor 10 times. Even if it is not raining you always get the feeling that a real storm is happening outside. Also, during heavy rains you could expect some flooding inside the bungalow and some water dripping from the ceiling. Harbour transfer, where i have been charged double vs listed prices for arranging a horse carriage transfer both ways. As we were 2 adults and one child, we have charged aditionsl money for extra bed - actually, a mattress put directly on the floor.

Pros: The location is exceptional! Rooms are clean and beautiful. Staff are friendly. Shuttle to and from harbour, arrangements made for snorkeling trips and access to snorkeling gear and bicycles were wonderful!

Pros: The gardens, the accommodation was a great size, nice and the pool and beach location lovely. The staff were wonderful.

Cons: The food was ok but not great. Other reports we tried far outdid them on that front. There was mould on two patches in the room and the kitchenette is dated eg the rattling microwave.

Cons: The staff failed to deliver us a message from our transport agency and by doing so almost left us stranded on Lombok. We had to purchase additional tickets to get back to Bali and upon conversation back and forth to the resort they have put all blame on us and refuse to give us a refund. Such a terrible end to what was suppose to be a great holiday

Cons: Breakfast service and offering let the side down. Restaurant and Spa atmosphere dated and not as relaxing as they could be, huge potential given the setting. Steakhouse venue lacking ambience.

Pros: The pool area was fabulous and the staff very friendly and helpful. It was in a good location, only a few minutes taxi drive from a number of other bars and restaurants.

Cons: The bathroom was quite shabby, very old and in need of a revamp. The shower was really bad, either freezing cold or boiling hot - very difficult to adjust the temperature.

They have happy hour with nice drink selection The room is spacious and comfortable - you either get a terrace or balcony. A huge & beautiful garden - too bad we came during rainy season! Hotel staff were super friendly - all would greet us and smiles!

Cons: The bathroom is semi outdoor - it has its charms, just not for me. Breakfast menu could be improved.

Cons: Bad WiFi connection. I asked well in advance if we could change our reservation from 4 to 3 nights. Eventhough only a few bungalows were occupied, the managenent insisted that we must pay for 4 nights. It is their right, but I regard this as inflexible and very client unfriendly.

Pros: The hotel is beautiful.. Clean well appointed rooms the garden are exceptional. Staff are very friendly form the front desk through to the grounds staff, spa and wait staff cannot fault the way they treat their guests.

Far from the hustle and bustle of the island, very quiet. Staff was very sweet and helpful. Happy hour every day from 5 to 7pm and outdoor cinema 3 times a week.

Cons: A bit far from the main street with all the bars and restaurants (about 20min bicycle ride), which is great because the hotel quiet, but after long days of activities we were too tired/lazy to do the ride and had to eat at the hotel’s restaurant almost every night. Unfortunately the food is quite disappointing, only a few Mexican dishes are tasty, the rest is just average. Bad value for the price! The bikes we rented were in pretty bad conditions. The front swimming pool was very greenish and had a very strong chlorine smell. Felt like swimming in a bleach bath.... The back swimming pool was ok thought.

Pros: This resort is a sanctuary for relaxation. The grounds and gardens are stunning with a lot of care and attention being given daily. The food is delicious with lots of variety to suit every taste. Overall the staff cannot do enough to make your stay wonderful. We feel as though we have made lifelong friends with the staff at this resort. Thank you to all of the staff for your genuine kindness and care. We will definitely be back. I would strongly recommend this resort.

Cons: Although the food is probably excellent as per local standards, I'd have preferred to avoid the 5-dishes daily menu for dinner. After few days, the food tastes very similar and this is probably because every night, the cooking style is very similar. I'd focus on less dishes (starter and main) focused on excellent local products served directly the platter. The a-la-carte breakfast is excellent and to me, this is what should be replicated for dinner.

Pros: The staff went above and beyond for our dinner set up. The resort is spotless and BEAUTIFUL. Sunrise on the canoe was breathtaking as the resort is framed by mountains. A tranquil paradise. We didn't want to leave!

Pros: five wonderful days in the LombokLodge.we stayed in the 2-bedroom family suite, viewing over the garden to the ocean. great terrace, amazing view from the master bedroom bed!, perfect space for all of us,very tasteful interior. really a private feeling, while service for all meals possible in the suite. we had delicious food, thank you to the kitchen! the pool is one of the beautifulest i have ever seen, also one of the longest.the location of LombokLodge is perfect for visiting the nearby Gili Islands by boat.we had two great days with our skipper , snorkeling with the turtles,picknick at the beach of Gilis. the staff is personal, friendly, attentively. We stayed there six weeks after earthquake, we felt totally safe, by driving through the village with the personal attention of the manager we could have seen what happened to the people. We will come back! warmly thanks to all of you.

Pros: Left the hotel without believing how amazing the staff and service was. I have been to a lot of hotels and the Lombok Lodge has to be one of the best. from the cleaners to the service staff to management were all amazing and made us feel just like their family. I stayed with my sister and had a very relaxing stay. the food was amazing and the place was just the perfect spot to chill and get treated like royalty. Highly recommendable!

Pros: Quite and I must say Astawan housekeeper is the best. He clean our room, very friendly and thoughtful.

Cons: The food and beverage should make an improvement. I pay 100k for extra breakfast for third day but didn’t get any receipt for it.

Pros: Children friendly.

Cons: The food was not particularly good.

Pros: Had a superb breakfast with a lot of options. Staffs were always welcoming and very helpful. very spacious room. Had a huge pool. Beach is around the corner. It's a best place to relax. Overall it's a great place will visit again.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Pros: I like the warm accommodation and friendliness of the staffs.

Cons: There are mosquitoes in the first blocks where I stayed before nov 10. There were no towels on our room but the housekeeping staff were so quick to provide us after my call.

Pros: It was a nice, new hotel set on beautifully manicured gardens with a lovely pool area. Our room was clean and was a good size. We enjoyed a dinner in the restaurant.

Cons: Toilet not too clean and room has cockroach

Pros: Actually I was happy to go move to different hotel and for same price more comfortable rooms big breakfast included in price with swimming pool,Golden Palace is hotel to stay in Mataram

Cons: Breakfast is very poor and they make you pay extra , absolute no communication with staff and overbooking is normal so they give you two single beds instead king

Pros: It’s so clean and food in restaurant is exelent

Cons: Sometimes it is very busy
