Bad serviceHi, I recently used Avis Phuket Airport services from 17/01/2018 to 21/01/2018 and was unfairly charged 3,210THB for having dogs in my vehicle. The reason this was unfairly charged is because I merely transported the dogs from Soi Nai Yang 13 (Avis car pick up location) back to Phuket Airport to arrange a taxi for my maid and dogs to be transported to my hotel. The dogs were kept in their cage at all times and the travel was less then 2km back to the airport. Below are reasons why this is unfairly charged and hence my dispute. 1. The Avis staff members who picked us up from Phuket Airport to Soi Nai Yang 13 in the van saw the dogs and did not inform us dogs are not allowed. If they had informed me at the airport, I would have got my maid and dogs to travel together via taxi. 2. Upon arrival to Soi Nai Yang 13 I was rudely informed that no dogs are allowed. This is no problem as I would arrange a taxi for them. The Avis staff pointed out a taxi driver across the road. I went to the taxi driver and showed him the address of my hotel. The taxi driver could not understand English and after asking another driver he could not work out the location of my hotel. From here I am left with no choice but to transport my maid and my dogs back to Phuket Airport in the Avis rental car to arrange a taxi from Phuket Airport. 3. I had arranged my Avis car through Kayak and the terms and conditions did not say no dogs are allowed. Further on your Avis Global website it states that Avis does not have strict pet policy and to ensure vehicle is returned in clean condition. 4. Lastly, when I had returned the vehicle, the staff mentioned I had dogs in my vehicle. I had informed her that I only drove them to the airport for taxi. Then she said “ok no problem”. Why did she not inform me about the additional charge? In conclusion, I had merely transported my maid and my dogs from Soi Nai Yang 13 back to Phuket Airport to arrange for taxi as I had not been informed prior by the Avis pick up staff at the airport. For less than 2km travel and car returned in clean condition (see pictures), I have been unfairly charged 3,210THB. Please have my money returned. Thank you.

Didn't accept the insurance I purchased.I purchased the added insurance from Kayak, so I didnt have to get it from Avis. Avis didnt understand what it was and made up buy it again from directly. Very disappointing experience. I did attempt to call the insurance provided directly, but there phone lines were busy. Waited for 20 mins then hung up.Avis dropped us off at our resort, instead of back at the airport. It was only an extra 5min different, but we appropriated they willingness.

Horrible CarsThe Toyota Vios i was assigned was old (150K km), the front tyres were nearly bald, car was full of scratches, headlamps weren't even bright and filthy! Steering wheel was sticky and ... the list goes on. Shall stop before i lose my lunch. The thugs operating the garage obviously won't be interested to give you a replacement.
