This hotel is in the worst part of town. We found syringes in both room's. The other people who took the room we originally booked checked under the mattress, more syringes! So we checked our's and sure enough syringes in the bed! Even the people that were there looked very shady. It's obviously a place where drug user's hang out. We demanded a full refund and got the heck out of there! We booked that room because we were flying home in the morning. The Ramada Inn up the street was equally as bad. It took us 3 hr's. to find a safe place to stay, well after midnight. We got little or no sleep before flying home. If you are out of state be VERY careful WHERE you book a room in Portland! That motel should be shut down! It's dangerous and a real health hazard...I would give it a 0 rating! So bad that the other couple is contacting a lawyer. If you are addicted to drug's this motel would be appealing...Nuff said! I did book another motel for the week in Newport Beach, OR. And it was wonderful! It was very quaint and the gentleman that ran it made our stay very memorable. I would stay there again. Thank you Priceline for hooking us up in Newport, it was awesome!Pros: NOTHING! It was a horrible experience...Cons: The room I rented in June was filled with syringes! So they gave us another room. AGAIN, syringes, and both room's had syringes under the matresses! It was clear that it's a place frequented by drug user's. It took us 3 hr's. to find a safe place to stay.
Good for overnight stay. Not fancy and does not have a free breakfast but there are places to eat very close by. It is clean, close to gas stations and freeway access.Pros: It is very close to the freeway, restaurants and banking.Cons: First room wasn't ready when I got there, second room that was supposed to be ready - the beds were not made. The third room was okay and on a level that was convienent for me. TV needed a chennel that shows stocks, metals markets.
