Room was very nice. Great location for pick up locations and close to places to eat. Staff were friendly. The breakfast was a mixture of cereals, ham & cheese, breads and a large platter of delicious fresh fruit. You can sit in the breakfast room at any point through the day if you want somewhere to relax.
Bed was sooooo comfortable! And the TV was nice. Everything was sparkling clean, and the staff was so helpful and friendly. The dining room was quiet and well-stocked.
I expected more space in the room, but I really didn't need it. The stairs were a challenge with heavy baggage.
The location was great and the room was clean and comfortable. Also, breakfast is included although the selection was somewhat limited. The breakfast room is kept open during most of the day, where coffee, tea and hot chocolate are available. The beds were very comfortable, however, the bathroom is a little cramped. Also, the staff was friendly and helpful.
No real complaints, however it would have been nice to have a safe in the room. Also, our room, which was overlooking the street, was noisy at night.
Fabulous 4 nights spent in this wee gem of a hotel. The beds were so comfortable with great pillows. Rooms were cleaned daily and supplied with tea, coffee making facilities. Breakfast was plentiful (fruit, cereals, breads, pastries, cheese, meats, juice, teas, coffee) in conservatory. Staff extremely helpful and friendly - special thanks to Peter who organised our day trips and helped provide early breakfast at checkout! Hotel itself is located in central Reykjavik within walking distance to most tourist attractions and near drop off & pick up points for all excursions & transfers to and from airport. There is so much to see and do in Iceland, we hope to return and will stay at the Skaldbreid again. Many thanks from Ireland x
Let’s staff, reception, outstanding especially a gentleman name Jesus who made my tours, information direction where great especially as I have never been there they were spot on. Can’t fault it, the breakfast wooooow, I think one of the best spread I’ve seen, filled me until dinner. Great selection.
Unable to fault anything base on one individual who really I feel wasn’t really giving 100% didnt understand why after the great service I got from one of your agents there but hey. There is always one that you maybe not fully click with, reasons why, it’s personal to them. But understanding and tolerance allows for such things. But can’t fault the whole experience. Definitely recommend.
