Breakfast was nice.
Shower water was not consistent. Kept going from hot to cold.
Lacks basic facilities
The rooms are so small you cant even walk. There is no wifi in the rooms. The AC was not working jn our room and they didnt do anything about it. Neither they replaced toiletries. Its not even close to Termini or metro station. Plus the guy who sits at reception in the evening time is so rude. There is no reason one should stay at this hotel.
Very handy location for sight seeing. Our room was large and we had a private balcony.
The rooms are starting to look a bit tired, the bed was not very comfortable - would suggest new beds.
It was convient for touring the city.
The rooms could have been cleaner with better furnishings. Internet access in the rooms would have been better.
It was very clean and the staff were professional. What I liked most, however, was the full breakfast. There was a variety of things to choose from. Terry at the front desk was the only one who was helpful and nice.
No one in Rome, including the staff at the hotel, were helpful or eager to help you when you asked them a question. We got the feeling that we were bothering them when asking simple questions on directions, etc., and that was a big problem, especially because you did not understand the language and the city (Rome) is much like a spaghetti bowl when driving. You will never find your way, no matter how good you are with directions, unless someone specifically shows you (telling you is not enough) because of the layout of the city. We had maps and we walked to all the main attractions, but it was very far walking to them, by bus it was not a problem. I was looking for a hotel which was closer to the sights. For three days all we did was walk all day long and we're used to walking so that was not a problem. Many in Italy try to rip you off because you're a tourist (they have lots of them). You have to really watch, and your money goes fast so be prepared to spend quite a bit more than you anticipated.
