Pros: The staff were without exception so friendly and helpful, the room (324) was clean and comfortable, albeit a little small and without a view, but had a great bed and very large bathroom including jacuzzi & substantial separate shower. The breakfasts were superb, with numerous daily freshly prepared delights brought round. We also dined twice in the excellent roof top restaurant because we had enjoyed the first dinner so much. We had a lovely stay, and wouldn't hesitate to return.
Cons: Bathroom was a very good size, but lacked lay down areas or sufficient coat / towel hooks in some convenient locations.

Pros: The staff was most helpful. The rooms are on the small side but with a large modern bathroom. Plenty of public areas to sit and enjoy a cup of tea. The breakfast was wonderful, did not expect to see the variety. There is a buffet and the waiters come around with additional selections!

Pros: 5-star hotel for the cheap price. Ideal location walking distance from Termini. New, clean and modern hotel. Big bedroom and fantastic bathroom. Staff are first rated. Great buffet breakfast. Hotel has their own fleet of black Mercedes cars take you to the airport. All in all, the very best hotel during our 4 weeks in 5 European countries.

Cons: Price of room with twin beds pushed together was $266 for one night. Price did not include WiFi. Desk clerk tried to get us to upgrade room for an extra $70 to get a double bed, free WiFi, and a small balcony. For $266/night, I would think they could throw in WiFi. Also asked desk clerk to make change for a 50 Euro. I was told they didn't make change and I should go to a small store across the street. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as there are many other hotels in the same area that provide more value for the money.

Pros: Both the maître d'hôtel and the bar manager were incredibly helpful and friendly. Great views of part of the Forum from the roof terrace. There is also a terrace on the 2nd floor which was always completely empty on my visit; great for some peace and quiet after the tourist packed streets. The location is fantastic if you want both the Colosseum and Forum on your door step.
Cons: The bed in my room probably needed the mattress changing, it felt like it dipped in the middle. The restaurant is open to the public so can get busy, while i was there there was a wedding reception one evening which, as a solo traveller especially, would have meant a rather awkward dining experience. The room I occupied backed onto the back street where there is an Irish bar, this was quite loud in the evenings, but with the windows shut, not loud enough to prevent sleep.

Pros: Everything we expected we got and then some. Food is excellent. The roof top bar was a delight at sunset. The staff was more than helpful in every way. Wish I could remember their names, they're first class. Location is great.

Pros: Superb location, RIGHT next to The Forum, just blocks from The Colosseum and adjacent to several restaurants. Standard rooms run a bit small, as all classic European hotels do, but was clean n cozy and felt like home in no time. Top floor restaurant was good and panoramic view was excellent. The true gem at this hotel, however, was the amazing staff, who were all pleasant and helpful and genuinely offered hospitality every single time I came into contact with any of them. Definitely a smaller, boutique style property but the excellent staff n superb location make Hotel Forum top notch. Recommended. Would stay again.

Pros: The room was very comfortable & clean. The bed was especially comfortable . I liked that there was no charge for the in room bar. The front desk staff were excellent. They booked taxis, restaurants & excursions for us. The breakfast provided by the hotel was very generous.
Cons: The hotel lounge area could be more inviting & the chairs more comfortable. I would prefer chairs with backs in the breakfast room.

Pros: This hotel is in a very convenient location for touring Rome. The central rail station and two metro stops are short walks away. The area also has a large number of restaurants. The hotel was clean and well run. The rooftop bar has a great view of the area. Breakfast was good, and the WiFi was acceptable. The ac was welcomed when it got hot.
Cons: The WiFi could have been faster, but it was fine for email and light browsing.

Pros: The hotel is walking distance from the Termini bus and train station. It is very close to most of Rome's tourist attractions. The hotel is very modern, very clean and is furnished with brand new furniture. The bathroom is also like new and is very clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The included breakfast was great with a lot of healthy choices.
Cons: Actually we did not have anything to complain about during our 3 night stay. We hope the hotel will keep up the good work.

Pros: The location was well known to us prior to booking and was okay. The hotel is one floor in a building with 3 "hotels" in it, so each floor is considered a different "hotel". The single floor "hotel" was clean. The breakfast was good.
Cons: The room was horrendously small , which reminded me rooms in Tokyo so when the suitcase was open the door was blocked. Can work well for single businessmen that need to be close to Termini. not convenient for couples. I would say that after being in this hotel I am not sure any more about the way hotels are getting stars grading in Rome. This is certainly either a fancy 2 star hotel or maximum 3 stars hotel. We stayed with a couple of friends. we both reserved through Kayak on the same day and payed significantly difference prices. I payed 20% more than my friends and they received a larger room....

Pros: A 5 minute walk from the train station. It seems that the room was recently remodeled - everything was new and modern. As all European hotels, the room wasn't very big, but there was a small desk. Very modern and clean bathroom. Free breakfast. Great value!
Cons: Fairly bare bones hotel. No concierge service, but if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, safe hotel near the train station, I highly recommend it. Word of caution - the lobby is on the (European) first floor, so you'll have to haul your bags up steps.

Pros: The price
Cons: The hotel is in bad shape. Carpet is shabby, paint chipping off walls, etc. I'd stayed at a Eurostar hotel in Munich that was modern, clean and very comfortable and thought the Rome location would be similar since it's a chain...but they seemed like two different companies. That said, it's fine for the budget traveler. Clean room and decent shower, but the whole place from the lobby to the rooms are just much shabbier than they appear online.
