Pros: The staff were without exception so friendly and helpful, the room (324) was clean and comfortable, albeit a little small and without a view, but had a great bed and very large bathroom including jacuzzi & substantial separate shower. The breakfasts were superb, with numerous daily freshly prepared delights brought round. We also dined twice in the excellent roof top restaurant because we had enjoyed the first dinner so much. We had a lovely stay, and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Pros: Superb location, RIGHT next to The Forum, just blocks from The Colosseum and adjacent to several restaurants. Standard rooms run a bit small, as all classic European hotels do, but was clean n cozy and felt like home in no time. Top floor restaurant was good and panoramic view was excellent. The true gem at this hotel, however, was the amazing staff, who were all pleasant and helpful and genuinely offered hospitality every single time I came into contact with any of them. Definitely a smaller, boutique style property but the excellent staff n superb location make Hotel Forum top notch. Recommended. Would stay again.

Pros: The location was well known to us prior to booking and was okay. The hotel is one floor in a building with 3 "hotels" in it, so each floor is considered a different "hotel". The single floor "hotel" was clean. The breakfast was good.

Pros: A 5 minute walk from the train station. It seems that the room was recently remodeled - everything was new and modern. As all European hotels, the room wasn't very big, but there was a small desk. Very modern and clean bathroom. Free breakfast. Great value!

Pros: The staff were excellent and were full of useful information, we were supplied with a map on checking in, which proved invaluable. The hotel has an excellent location, and apart from the Vatican, which was quite a walk...(we were told about public transport, so it was our choice)!, all sites of interest were in very close proximity. Our room was spotless on arrival, and maintained in the same manner throughout our stay. Many excellent eateries amoung the web of cobbled streets which surround the hotel, and whilst the hotel does not actively promote any individual restaurants, they do give very good advice on how to avoid the tourist "rip off" traders. I would certainly recomend the Grifo to people I like !
