Pros: The location was really nice. The garden and the whole structure is great. The breakfast cared, varied and very good. The bed for the moment is the best of Myanmar. The manager has been very professional and kind to help me in solving an issue. Very good way of approach. Good staff. I advise to offer free bycycle.
Cons: Rooms needs to be updated and renovation and a bit more care for cleaning. Free bycycle is a must for the money you spend in this hotek In my advise is too high price for what is offered....

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and espectacular views from the pool and the lake cabanas. Staff friendliness. Dinner al fresco by the pool with the most amazing views to the lit temples in the vicinity.
Cons: The description of some of the rooms is misleading as it says you have a view to a land-mark when in reality the views are only from the pool and the lake shore cabanas.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Small beds and slippery floor at reception. Staff called us twice asking us to pay for the extra bed even though I told them I need to take a rest first and I’ll do it later. Worst experience ever.

7.0 Good
Pros: The location is really closer to the viewpoint tower and hotel provides car for transit.

Zfreeti Hotel - Bagan - Bedroom

8.9 Excellent (858 reviews)

A stay at Zfreeti Hotel places you in the heart of Nyaung-U, a 5-minute drive from Shwezigon Pagoda and 9 minutes from Htilominlo Temple. Featured amenities include limo/town car service, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Zfreeti hotel is a great place to stay & explore Bagan. It’s in an ideal location & the staff & service are second to none. The rooms are spacious & spotless.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable, big comfy double bed (some are twins). Well positioned for exploring the historic sites, close to lots of good places to eat, in-house electric bike hire @ 3,000MMK per day, nice rooftop breakfast. Pool very welcome after hot days exploring. Efficient and helpful reception staff. Always welcoming. ATM that accepted our cards (Revolut and Starling). Puppet show at poolside bar. Happy hour 4-6pm (2 cocktails for 3,000 MMK).
Cons: No room safe and would have liked a balcony (I believe both are available with the more costly room options). Insistence on totally pristine US dollar notes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location Personal Breakfast Swiming pool
Cons: -
7.0 Good
Pros: Pool was good. Location was just off the main strip but close enough to walk. No kettle in room. Breakfast was good and nice roof top
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is close to the many good, pleasant restaurants in Nyaung-U. It is in the central part of the town, but there was no significant noise. Suites are a good size and the bathroom very large. Everything is very clean. The swimming pool is small and the loungers too close together, but swimming after a long day of temple viewing was just wonderful. The staff are friendly and arranged a good guide at short notice for a day at a reasonable price. The hotel rents good e-bikes at a low price, but there are also e-scooters available across the street. WiFi OK.
Cons: Nothing significant to dislike. The few minutes delay in the AC switching on was annoying, but it was soon effective. There was no car at the airport despite a promise the night before, but the staff arranged one quickly after a phone call and the hotel is only five minutes from the airport.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Great pool and even better kind staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, room, location, terrace, swimming pool.
Cons: The bathroom shower had some problems.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location of the hotel Nice gardens and pool area Large and comfortable bedroom Very nice bathroom with bath Drinks and food at the pool Staff kindliness and service
Cons: Some of the equipment (bathroom, pool seat) a bit outdated Some undefined motor noise in the room during the last night (neighbors’ air con?)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great, staff were fantastic. We arrived at 7 am and there were rooms available so they let us check in early at no extra charge. Pool is huge so good for exercise
Cons: Bigger coffee cups in the room are needed. Cobblestones in the driveway entrance made for a bone jarring arrival
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic hotel and staff. Comfortable and quiet room, location is nicely isolated away from the busy road but close to the temples and restaurants. Highly recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was my second stay at Amazing Bagan Resort and a second time I can really recommend this place if you are looking for a luxury and more exclusive hotel. However, good price for money: Super friendly, good English speaking staff, breakfast variety was definitely amazing with good coffee, very clean and comfortable rooms. Also, thumbs up for being more eco-friendly!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The shower room was great and the beds were comfy. Pool was a welcome break from the baking hot sun.
Cons: It was a bit isolated so we were getting tuktuk’s in the evening to and from Bagan restaurant street.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Stunning location fabulous food and lovely staff. We were asked to move rooms to accommodate some high ranking religious leaders who came to the hotel at short notice. The hotel, by way of compensation provided us with a free evening meal and wine which was very gracious of them and a better room than we were originally in.
Cons: Hotel could maybe provide a choice of pillows as ours were a little hard for our liking. Our mattress was also too hard but they provided some additional coverings to soften this. These are minor issues.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, beautiful swimming pool area, spacious room. Can’t fault the place
Cons: Nothing of note

Pros: Owner and her staff, location, facilities, service, breakfast and so and so are very good. Definitely to book again.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy rooms and a very good breakfast service. We arrived with a nightbus early at 3.30 am and they gave us a room immediately without additionally fees. All in all recommendable place to stay.
Cons: We were happy that we got a discount for renting an E bike in the Guesthouse, but the next day they told us that it isn't true. Finally we managed the problem. So very kind service, but not all information are reliable.
7.5 Good
Pros: The price is cheap and location is good. The staffs are also very welcoming.
Cons: Very less facility are provided in room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The kindness of the people there !!!
Cons: A bit noisy at night
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was tidy, next to reception so heard the bike doors being opened most mornings but apart from that was fine. The communal bathrooms were cleaned daily, often more than once a day which was great. Ample facilities too. Breakfast was good, so much food! Samosas, donut, fruit, toast, egg, tea/coffee. You could rent ebikes - although you can find them slightly cheaper elsewhere. Staff were helpful in arranging onward travel to Chin state too. Good location for food etc. Overall food value for money given the general cost of Bagan area. Would stay again.
The Hotel @ Tharabar Gate - Bagan - Pool

8.8 Excellent (618 reviews)

Overview Reviews
Located in Bagan, The Hotel @ Tharabar Gate is in the historical district, within a 15-minute walk of Ananda Temple and Htilominlo Temple. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and limited parking is available onsite.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location to explore old Bagan; very warm and helpful staff; authentic Burmese interior; great breakfast; love the pool!
Cons: Room is a little bit old; it is a plastic-free hotel, maybe replace all the plastic items in the restaurant?
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very good position, very good quality/price
Cons: The staff could be a bit less nervous. One lady at the reception insisted quite a lot that I should pay on the spot when I’ve just arrived, instead of showing some flexibility and giving the client the possibility to pay later on or at the check out time. Seen it’s a rather expensive hotel, I would have expected better service from this point of view.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful oasis in the centre of old Bagan; We couldn’t have asked for a more amazing place to stay. The hotel was amazing and in such a lovely setting, great location and such lovely staff. It was great to be able to come and relax and the beautiful pool after being out in the morning and so easy to get back to and out again in the early evening for sunset
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good and it was great is was included. Service was ok. The remaining meals offered at the hotel were notably overpriced so we ate elsewhere. I got the impression that staff recognise the significant divide what is charged to Guests, and their own wages. Overall, my impression is that Myanmar needs to rethink the excessive extra costs imposed on foreigners (e.g. much higher hotel rates, airfares, admissions, English menu prices) if it wants to grow its tourism sector,
Cons: Charges in US dollars. Excessive, unrealistic prices.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great location and nice setting.
Cons: While breakfasts were great other meals were very plain and very expensive compared to the local restaurants.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Well managed hotel, near interesting tourist sites and with a fantastic spa and pool.
Cons: The noise on a Saturday night from the nearby park
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good location, beautiful reception and lobby area, very friendly staff
Cons: Too small garden, no oasis to hide, too pricy in comparison with other hotels of similar standard
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is so beautiful, with great rooms with private terrace and gardens. The pool is beautiful - if a little cold! The hotel is really well located, right next to Old Bagan. The staff were super helpful in arranging everything we need. Restaurant is great with a good selection, wine, cocktails and a good breakfast spread. Would definitely stay here again if we were back in Bagan.
Cons: We stayed during the annual festival which was extremely noisy - there were warnings about this in the room, but had we known in advance, we may have changed our itinerary. It was REALLY loud!

Cons: Building works
8.0 Excellent
Pros: - Room was satisfied, - Breakfast was perfect and - The pool was n/a
Cons: - Reception should have more friends. - Overall lighting is a little low intensity.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel with great facilities. Rooms are big and the pool is quite good. Also, you can rent bikes and ebikes in that place. Internet is surprisingly good!
Cons: The hotel is expensive for what it is. Anyway, I think hotels are expensive in general in Myanmar
10.0 Excellent
Pros: it was a beautiful stay. the staff was all friendly and helpful. thank you!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The staff couldn't have done more to try to please us. They were exceptional.
Cons: We couldn't find anything we disliked about this hotel. Everything was to our expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Landscaping beautiful! Food good. Room very nice. Would definitely return. Staff helpful.
Cons: Bath water brownish in color. Bird poop from ceiling in dining area once hit my arm.
1.0 Poor
Cons: Had a horrible stay, the hotel is old and shabby. Mouldy walls, dirty bathroom and scratched floors. The hotel was empty due to covid19 situation, but we got stuck in a room with a view of a brick wall. Have tried talking to the management - very poor English and no will to make our situation better. Avoid it at all costs.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent stay. really liked it all. Friendly staff, comfy room and facilities. Great location and, of course, what a fantastic place Bagan is! One of the most spectacular locations I have ever visited (been to 99 countries, so far). Take good care of this place, please.
Cons: Still needs some work on the internet connection and massage skills of the masseuse, it was not the best service I had and a bit pricey for what they offered.

A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free valet parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property grounds are fantastic - on the bank of the river and has two temples in its yard! We stayed in the deluxe room with a garden/river view and it was definitely worth it. The sunset would colour everything golden each evening, and we could watch it from our terrase. The amenities are not the most recent, but everything is very comfortable, and feels very authentic. There's a massage parlour on site as well. You can rent bikes or scooters just outside the hotel, and it's possible to negotiate with the renters to be able to keep it overnight (some renters only rent until 7pm). I definitely recommend the hotel! It was one of our favourite places to stay during our Myanmar trip.
7.5 Good
Pros: The garden was beautiful with a temple in it. The sunset on the river was nice. They made us a breakfast box when we had to leave at 5 am for the ferry. There is an ATM in the front foyer The front desk staff were friendly and lovely
Cons: The large garden felt a bit unkempt and our room which we upgraded to get a river view was located quite far away down some stairs which were not very clean. It didn’t feel like an upgrade. The was a paan chewing watchman who was a bit coarse. I didn’t use the pool as it was quite far from our room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, in the very center of Old Bagan, close to the Archeological museum. Beautiful view on the river. Very comfortable facilities and friendly, English speaking staff. Good breakfast with European options. Recommended to bring moskito repellant as the hotel is close to the river and they may be bothering you in the evenings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good choice for breakfast overlooking the river! great location for the temples. Staff really friendly! Rooms large and spacious and clean! Peaceful and relaxing. Temples in the grounds - wonderful!
Cons: Taxi companies charge you more than is reasonable from the hotel - directly over the road it is less than half the price! Nothing against the hotel but just for future information for guests!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is reeeeeally good. The breakfast is good, the staff is warm.
Cons: They apply a fee if you wish to pay on Kiat. Be explicit to the Taxi driver (there are other 3 hotels in the zone with similar name), he dropped me on the wrong place
7.0 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel is amazing - right in the middle of pagodas - some of them even within the hotel premises. Very quiet. Nice swimming pool was really useful after all-day sightseeing.
Cons: Maintenance of the room, equipment and bath missed its right time to be done.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and a beautiful room. Lovely setting when eating overlooking the river
Cons: Poor selection of places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. Restaurants in Yangon and Mandalay vastly superior. I did eat at the hotel on the first night and that was fine but I like to go out at night
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, great breakfast, very nice view on the river & amazing temple in the garden! Super helpful and nice staff - I arrived with the night bus at 4am and was already able to check-in to my room :))) Can definitely recommend this hotel.
Cons: As mentioned in several other opinions, the hotel needs a slight refreshment - especially the bathrooms
7.0 Good
Pros: Value for money. In the heart of the historical center. Fabulous Irrawaddy panoramic view. Nice garden with 2 temples.
Cons: Hotel could be maintained better.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast buffet overlooking river. Staff stationed outside room hallways in morning to assist you unasked!
Cons: Air conditioning cycled in and off noisily. Just open window, and set fan on... A bit of a walk to anywhere else for dinner. Coffee and their dinners very expensive for value received.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing. The atmosphere was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone
Cons: Absolutely nothing was bad
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is THE BEST place to stay if you are in Bagan. The community there is so sweet, the hostels are modern and kept super clean, and the daily activities and tours the hostel offers are the best way to experience Bagan. It's so lovely how everyone in the hostel wakes up at 6 AM every day to catch the most epic sunsets together. Everyone is just so kind and sweet. You can rent an e-bike right next to the hostel which I recommend doing so you can go drive swiftly from pagoda to pagoda. If you're traveling alone, this place is highly recommended as it's super easy to make friends and get people to spend the day roaming the area with. Loved it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in New Bagan. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great breakfast and enjoyed other meals there as well. A friendly place. Nice and clean.
Cons: Nothing. It was all good.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good fun in the evening. Nice staff Free coffee and tea Good tours and well organized assistance
Cons: There was a strong and lasting sewage smell in our room. Food was quite expensive for Myanmar
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We had a great stay at ostello bello. We arrived early on the night bus and could use the facilities on the roof (beds, bean bags and showers) until we could check in. Reception staff were super helpful and you can book on to activities like boat trips and yoga there too. Breakfast, which changes daily, was great too.

6.0 Good
Pros: The room was really nice and comfortable. The bathroom was large and provided great space and comfort too. Extra large bed and comfortable as well. We were lucky to have no neighbors as all bungalows, except the suites, are all semi-detached.
Cons: The noise in the dining room was terrible and deco really poor. You could hear an horrible coca-cola fridge making a big noise ALL THE TIME and not fitting at all in such a standard hotel. The food was overpriced for what it was (even if it was ok in terms of quality) and breakfast choice was limited, to say the least.... Not at all ok for a 5 stars hotel. Could do much better for the expensive price! The e-bikes in rent at the hotel were 3 times more expensive than in the city area and because the hotel is isolated and far from other service provider, you are cornered to pay the price with no other alternative. Not really commercially acceptable.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Spacious rooms
Cons: We had spent USD 1000 for 3 nights including food and drinks. When we were leaving and getting into car a man from hotel comes and asks for USD 2 for a coke from minibar. Amazing that they had to make sure that they got 0.2% of the bill too and made it unpleasant for us.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Suites are big
Cons: Food is no good; room rate too high; menu prices are high too for Myanmar and toiletries quality low as compared to price you pay for room rate. Rain shower didn’t work well and strange sulfur smell one morning from shower cubicle
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Quaint and functional, but no wow factor.
Cons: Food was mediocre.
6.0 Good
Pros: Conveniently located close to the valley of temple and a little outside of New Bagan. The overall layout of the hotel is nice and airy. Room was large, modern and very comfortable. Huge bathroom with a tub and a nice shower. All rooms are in bungalows on a park. Nice swimming pool
Cons: This hotel is totally overpriced for what they offer. For example, a Coke in the in-room minibar is $2, which for Myanmar is ridiculous. There are 2 swimming pools, one is great for the overall view but is literally in the middle of the lobby so no one can use it. The other one is nice but has no pool bar and is at the opposite end of the property to the bar/ restaurant. Restaurant is poor: prices are high and food portions are small and of poor quality. Buffet breakfast is OK but one could expect way more for the price paid. Everything is charged: while most hotels provide free electric bikes to their guests, this hotel leases them and it is not cheap. Finally, staff is trying to make money for themselves: the bartender only charged us for one round and wanted us to pay the second one in cash instead of charging it to the room pretexting some "system issues" that were resolved as soon as we refused...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The place was beautiful 2 nice swimming-pool and very reactive staff

1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything, they are building a new extension / hotel one metre away from the swimming pool. The smell from the septic tank means that it is impossible to use the pool for large parts of the day. I further believe they are manipulating their reviews as I cannot believe that anyone would stay here and not mention these facts. We also got sick during our stay at this hotel. This hotel should not be open at the moment.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was professional and very friendly. They organized us a private tour to Mount Popa and a overnight bus to Kalaw. Hotel rents e-bike at an average price. The hotel facilities were modern and the room was comfortable. Try the swimming pool.
Cons: Bathroom could be improved
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Smelly bathroom... strange noise like there was an animal (mice...?) in the roof of the room. To be checked.

7.0 Good
Pros: Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The Oasis name is well chosen as the location is quite peaceful
Cons: Rooms need some refreshing- they are also quite dark. We did not always have warm water
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great and staff really helpful. Ebikes next door and restaurants at walking distance. Please be kind and tip the staff, pays are low and surely those extra tips won't make you any poorer.
Cons: Linens and towels were clean but could be newer.
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice gardens, well situated close to the restaurants, comfortable bed, good breakfast.
Cons: It needs a deep clean, and repainting. It was noisy some mornings which I think was a nearby temple.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The room was perfect very comfortable, wonderful and helpful staff upon check in and throughout booked our bikes each day when we needed them. Impeccable grounds with 2 pools, show stage (for traditional Burmese dances at night) and it's own little temple! Spectacular! We got the room we wanted with the view we wanted. The breakfast had lots of veggie options which made us ecstatic and it all tasted wonderful. Seriously solid 10/10 one of the best hotels I stayed in in the world. Really impressed with the quality to price with this lovely hotel in Burma! Stay here you won't regret it :)
Cons: That we had to leave :( It was an exceptional stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Grounds and pool were beautiful
Cons: The standard rooms were on the basic side and a bit outdated
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff, so nice and helpful! I loved the breakfasts, a lot of choice and very good quality. Nice garden, great clean swimming pools - will definitely be back :)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The grounds were beautiful, the staff helpful and friendly.
Cons: The room needs to be spruced up.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were helpful and setting is relaxing. Walk over the road and see historic stupas.
Cons: Smoke from burning off in the morning infiltrated our room each day. Pidgins scratching on the roof during the night were noisy. Best bet is get a room overlooking the pool so this isn’t an issue.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel room was really nice and spacious, we liked the Balkony and the big shower. Hotel staff was really nice and helps with bookings and transportation. The location is great, we even walked to many pagodas and rented scooters near by. Many restaurants around the hotel, however the food was really good in the own hotels restaurant including a free dinner show.
Cons: We would really like to see that the hotel would use less plastic. Glasses, toilet paper etc are unnecessarily wrapped in plastic, also why serve the drink with two straws and a plastic spoon and not only by itself? In the bathroom is a sign which says „Please help is to protect the environment“ however, the high use of plastic and the unnecessary change of all towels every day doesn’t really fit.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location, great helpful staff, Ebike hire available, local restaurants nearby
Cons: Room a little small and a bit dated but not a problem
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room, Very quiet location, Balcony with a view of pagodas, The affordable restaurant with a show at dinner, A great breakfast, An actual pagoda being in the property, Nice staff.
Cons: At check-in, although through a message on bookingcom, early check-in is possible for the time I requested, the front desk said it was not possible first. But, we just needed to wait maybe 5-10 minutes and able to check in so it wasn't a big deal. There was a one time electricity out so I had to call the reception. When someone came it got fixed immediately. There should be more sunbeds by the pool.

4.0 Okay
Pros: Good location looking over river. Gardens very well kept. Staff attentive and friendly
Cons: Actual room was in block that was not well maintained. Room was good size but tired. Adjacent gardens in this area not so well looked after. Tray of partially eaten cake sat outside one room for several days, risk of vermin. Menu at hotel extremely limited and expensive, as were drinks. As an example cocktails at this hotel more expensive than Seeds the number one hotel in Yangon at $10 dollars each.
6.7 Good
Pros: - location - Quiet, good for a break - Great view and garden well taken care - Nice swimming pool
Cons: - Food and beverages overpriced! (Approx 9 USD for a fresh fruit juice) - Swimming pool is dirty - Sunchairs at swimming pool are not handy, parasol cannot be adjusted so you need to move your heavy chair every now and then to be able to get sun or shadow - Staff is very passive and sometimes even unprofessional. (When doing a mistake in an order, instead of apologizing, the staff is laughing). No goodbye or thank you at the end the stay. - On the table, you have to unserve your own dishes yourself because the staff is not doing it while bringing next dishes. - Late check out is not possible without being charged (although the hotel is almost empty). - Bed sheets were clean but had stains. - Shower/bathtub a bit old
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Resort set in beautiful and well-maintained gardens overlooking the Irrawady River. Reasonably spacious room with good bathroom. Lovely pool. Excellent breakfast and pleasant dinner in restaurant.

Cons: The restaurant and bar were significantly overpriced.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful views and gardens overlooking the river. Nice pool. Close to the temples
Cons: The restaurant is overpriced and breakfast was very average.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The hotel is nicely located at the river. Nice pool area with a lush garden and nice sunset view.
Cons: Hotel is outdated. Bungalow was not clean and did not reflect the pictures online. Breakfast: - Very limited selection - Quality was doubtful Only the money counted for the staff and they were not trained to handle simple and standards requests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service was wonderful- staff went above and beyond to meet your needs. The tour they organized for me was really good- my guide was extremely knowledgable. Everything was clean and I was very comfortable and felt safe.
Cons: Breakfast could have been better- it was average.

A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free self parking is available onsite.
6.0 Good
Pros: The room was really nice and comfortable.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room, the people, great coffee at breakfast. The garden is beautiful and the area is interesting. It is very quiet we could easily travel to other places.
Cons: I wasn't keen on the croissants and brioches as they were made with a particular butter I didn't like. Otherwise the cooked breakfast was very good. The other thing was that the pool was too close to the restaurant and so wasn't something you could use easily but more of a relaxed area when eating or drinking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beatiful outside and inside. Great wifi.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet and tranquil location, friendly staff with helpful service.
Cons: It would have been good to have had a Spa service in the hotel after long days trekking the Pagodas.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff really looked after us when we had fallen off our e-bike and were very competent in giving first aid.
Cons: The pool was very chilly!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location at the entrance of new Bagan, so close to restaurants and everything you need. Rent of e-bike right in front, the possibility to book your tours and bus with the hotel. Staff amazingly friendly, helpful, flexible and speaking English! Good Email communication before arrival to arrange pick-up if needed. The rooms are extremely big, the bed is comfortable, everything is clean. The Internet is working pretty well. Breakfast is just what you need. The pool is a big plus to refresh and relax! The restaurant on-site (at the pool or rooftop in the evening) is OK. Good ratio quality/price.
Cons: Nothing, everything perfect! Recommended!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and those on the backside are very quiet. There's a restaurant with a Terrasse if you decide to stay in the hotel. The breakfast is excellent. Just opposite the road are more restaurants. And the best is travel agency Sunshine for booking various trips as well as renting eBikes for exploring the temple sites. To make things perfect, an ATM is in front of you hotel.
Cons: Nothing at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff that was well trained to make the guests at home in all facilities. 5 star accommodation ; from meal orders by the pool till in your room. Huge rooms with bathroom with a separate shower. Breakfast buffet was excellent and again the service is great. The lady opposite of the street arranged all the e-bikes and also went for the extra mile.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are very clean and spacious. The pool area is pretty, well maintained and has a good bar opening till 9pm. Just crossing the street you can rent motorbikes at very good prices. The staff is very attentive and try their best to sort out any issue you have. The hotel is located in New Bagan but believe us, the location is great, connecting easily to the main roads to get to the temple areas and Old Bagan. Get one of the rooms located at the sides of the pool. Not at the bottom.
Cons: Well, the rooms at the back of the pool, at the end of the aisle, have very large windows and a horrible view to a cement wall and not sun light at all. It was worst in the first floor, where we were first located, for us that was a huge No No, so they did our best to relocate us in the second floor, same area, which was a bit better since some natural sunlight could enter the room but still the view was heading to half of the wall.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good location (300m) from middle of New Bagan so everything handy but not noisy, busy or dusty. However a small laundry, ATM, basic spa, e-bike rental were all just outside hotel & usually tuktuks waiting for custom. 300-400 metre walk is (we found) the best restaurant in the area, Mar Lar Then Hi, not flash but great food, nice people & ridiculously inexpensive (ignore the T.A. rated touristy places) Nice pool area for whiling the days. Good breakfast buffet with some daily variation. Deluxe room in main building was huge with very comfy beds, nice fresh bedding & pillows and superb value for money. I think budget rooms are across the road. But the staff are just excellent - friendly, helpful, considerate, attentive, sincere and did I mention friendly? All went above & beyond; and every recommendation was spot on, sincere and un-biased. Really good people
Cons: Nothing to dislike .
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful. We enjoyed the pool during the heat of the day. Breakfast was good. Rooms were large. E bike rental right out the front door of the hotel.
Cons: It is on the corner of a busy street with lots of honking. First night we stayed in a room on the street side. We asked to move and then it was MUCH better. Staff was accommodating to our move request.
7.1 Good
Pros: Close to scooter rent and ATM
Cons: Nice Pool, but water way too cold No service in pool area Nobody uses the restaurant at the top Mngt is not there and no leadership
7.0 Good
Pros: It was ok for a day or so but dated- the staff was excellent and always provided great service. breakfast was acceptable -
Cons: smoking at pool was a turn off as the smoke just lingers in area- {not an open area} room off the main area was not great--curtain would not open so was dark
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved having the pool during those hot days in Bagan. We would wake up early, go explore and come back to refresh by the pool at noon before going out again. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is great!
Cons: Well the restaurant side of the hotel is not that good. I mean the food is amazing but the facility itself wasn’t. It has a lot of room for improvement. Lights, music, something. Looked very sad. Our waitress (during Covid-19) was coughing a lot (not stopping) while on service. Even if there was no covid we didn’t even see him going to wash his hands. He came straight with our food. Then he coughed and with the same hand he gave us a pen to sign.
