Lots of little touches like vases of fresh flowers, freshly baked plum cake, homemade jams and granola, and the smoked haddock with scrambled eggs on bagels for breakfast was both generous and tasty. Pros: The location was stunning, Debbie and Bob were very accommodating and the B&B was beautiful. We had a lovely time and look forward to returning in the future.
Cons: Not the fault of the B&B, but local electric car charging facilities were poor - neither rapid charger in Stranraer was working. It would have been great to have a 7kW Type 2 charger at the B&B so we could top up overnight.

Pros: I have never slept as well in any establishment. The bed and bedding were exceptional
Cons: Faultless
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were very clean and comfy. Rooms are very spacious although the attic room wouldn’t be ideal for someone very tall due to the low ceilings. Loved the bar and breakfast rooms. While place is beautifully decorated and very cosy.
Cons: Just the low ceilings in our room, husband did bump his head a few times when he forgot to duck.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Booked this at the last minute the staff were excellent of high. Quality my room was very warm and spacious and the bathroom was very clean with a great shower would definitely stay here again
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are very friendly and helpful especially the housekeeper and receptionist. The food was very good, good quality and plentiful. Our room ( Pink Room ) was of a good size, clean and quiet with a fantastic shower. We found the DBB rate extremely good value and wouldn't hesitate returning back to his hotel or recommending it to others.
Cons: I found the room a little chilly during the night especially with us only having a summer duvet. There was a small heater in the room but we turned it off before we went to bed as the room was really warm. I also think that it should mention either on booking.com or their website that the dinner package only includes 2 courses. Their website indicates a 3 course menu but only once we had booked did we then get an email stating that only 2 courses were included. This wasnt a problem as it was enough for us but would have liked to have known this prior to booking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Attic room was exceptional.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about Blinkbonnie was excellent. Great location, Friendly owners, exceptionally clean and breakfast great. We have already booked for next year and that says it all.
7.5 Good
Pros: The cleanliness. Unfortunately for me there was a strong smell of room freshner in our room which affected my breathing but at least there were windows to open but the smell still too strong. The bed had a protruding end of a few inches which was sharp... just at knee height .....as there was not much room to walk around the bed my husband knocked his knee twice on it and is now still in bed with a badly swollen knee .
Cons: To cut off the piece of wood protruding from the end of the bed so other guests won't knock themselves. The mattress could have been more comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean , tidy , perfect very comfortable , could have stayed on for a few days . Fantastic breakfast . 10/10 all round !
Cons: Nothing negative to say !!

Pros: Portpatrick is a gorgeous village, one of the nicest we have been to with lovely and not too stiff coast paths for walkers. The bnb was good and the owners very welcoming. The breakfasts were ok with a good choice.

Pros: Good value for money great stay will be back next time I'm in the area
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our second stay, and we have already booked again. The property is a no frills, small chalet behind a pub. The pub only operates at weekends, so the premises are quiet. The chalets are set back from the road so traffic noise is minimal. The chalet had all that we needed including free parking, free wi-fi that worked well, tea/coffee making and a decent bathroom with piping hot water. The Cairnryan ferry terminals are just over 10 minutes drive away. The town is barely 5 minutes walk and has supermarkets and restaurants. The owner is very helpful and welcoming. Don't expect a palace, but the accommodation is ideal for people passing through the port.
Cons: Nothing negative to say. Not related to the accommodation, but if returning to Scotland on the late ferry, take note that there are no obvious late night filling stations between Stranraer and Dumfries, so top up before boarding the ferry.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very comfortable room with a great sea view. We had to go to another B&B with the same owners for our breakfast as they didn't have a chef in because its the winter it was on the same street just along a bit but breakfast was excellent and staff really friendly. My daughter also left her wee Teddy she's had from a baby and I message the owners and they got back to me straight away they had found it got my dad and a friend to pick it up no problem. Definitely would stay again so would highly recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very near the ferry port. Owner allowed complete freedom to come and go. Near a pleasant little pub.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect for visiting our family
Cons: Very noisy. But that's not the hotel's fault as they did have double glazing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Could location for ferry across to Ireland. Large breakfast.
Cons: Got charged twice, but later resolved with offer of free room next time.
6.7 Good
Pros: The room was comfortable and it was fantastic that we was able to have a nights rest with our dog after travelling from London and going on to Belfast on the early morning ferry. The location was great and if it hadn’t of been dark when we arrived and left the view would of been beautiful from the top floor.
Cons: The cups and spoons was dirty and was like someone had been eating cereal with them, the waste bin in the bathroom was packed full so obviously not emptied from the previous guests. By the time we found these problems there was no staff around to tell. Although it says cards accepted when we got there it was cash only so my mother had to go wandering in the town in the rain to find a cash point. We sadly didn’t get the included breakfast as we had to leave to get the Stena, an early morning option would be good but we just got an oh, ok, upon leaving there are no directions of where to leave your key and it is a good job we didn’t just leave it in the room like some places like you too, as we wouldn’t of been able to get out of the front door. An early morning key drop box at the front door would be a good idea or at least some instructions in your room on where to leave it.

Pros: Great breakfast, nice room, great location
Cons: All good

Pros: It was lovely comfortable & clean lovely staff
7.9 Good
Pros: You get what you paid for. The rooms were clean as was the shared bathroom. Cheap and cheerful if you just need a place to crash for the night. £48 for twin bed room is a canny price for what it is.
Cons: Bit difficult to get to nestled in the one ways and we werent really informed on how to checkout.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The girl who checked my in was fantastic, organised my food for the evening as I was late arriving and very attentive. Very welcoming and friendly place to stay
5.4 Okay
Pros: Food and drinks good. Welcomed by really nice guy and found I booked the wrong date. The room was basic, seemed ok but there’s no en-suite. Shared bathroom was grim and shower filthy. The noise from the bar was awful. Wouldn’t go back. Shame cause staff really nice. There was a cigarette stuck in our sink.
Cons: Everything except for the dinner and staff.
1.0 Poor
Cons: Noisy, pub was smelly, wasn’t clean,

7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, very accommodating. Warm rooms with comfortable beds.
Cons: Loud music downstairs late Sunday evening (10pm onwards). It does say this in the information, next time I would ask to stay on the second floor!
