Taormina hotels near Badia Vecchia

Pros: The accommodations were first rate. The view from our balcony of the sea and of Mt. Etna was breathtaking. I loved the proximity of the hotel to the Taormina shopping area. I am already planning my return trip to the Grand Hotel Timeo. We ended up staying in a Junior Suite rather than the Double Deluxe Room.

Pros: The hotel was quite beautiful and well located. The breakfast on the terrace with the beautiful view was a delight.

Pros: Beautiful, tastefully appointed hotel. Ultra modern accommodations in a Sicillian village that blossoms with antiquity. The restaurant is fine, but visitors are in the center of a town where one cannot find a bad meal; only, as Rick Steves phrases it, better.

Pros: The hotel has an old world charm, good size clean rooms. Towels and Chairs provided each day on the beach. Not far from cabelcar which takes you up to the center of Taormina.

Pros: The hotel has a pleasant home-like feeling and an excellent location. At breakfast time one can enjoy the view of Mt.Etna from the rooftop terrace. Around the corner are the Public Gardens (Giardino Pubblico), very convenient for a walk in the well tended park, and again with view of Mt.Etna and the sea. At the same time only a few minutes walk away from the main corso. English speakers are well served at the front desk. We were very happy with our choice of accommodation!

Pros: The room was good, a little old but quaint. It was clean and quite large. The hotel is also old but typical of Taormina. The staff were very polite and helpful. It was quiet and the view from my room beautiful. Breakfast was also very good and the view from the restaurant is of Naxos and Etna.

Pros: It was very centrally located within Taormina enabling easy access to various bars and restaurants. It also offered superb panoramic views of the sea and mt Etna. Staff were very firndly and helpful.

Pros: Idyllic place. The location is fantastic, right on the edge of a small bay with a miniature island attached to the shore by a small sand bar. The hotel opened this year so everything is brand new a very beautifully done. In addition is relatively not that expensive compared to other top hotels in Sicily. I felt it was worth the money.

Pros: The staff were very friendly. The hotel is comfortable though a bit out of the way but we loved the spacious public areas and the food served in the restaurant was really good.

Pros: We spend lots of time, reading reviews on Taormina's and Naxos's hotels - wanted to choose the best value for money staying in a really comfort hotel. Ceaser was the right choice. Very nice rooms, very nice stuff! Everything is new and clean. We stayed bb, so, have no idea, what kind of lunchs and diners they serv (there are so many nice cafes in Naxos, that we just had no possibility to taste the hotel's restaurant), but breakfast was more or less ok. As far as we understood from the reviews on other sicilian hotels, poor breakfast is quite a common problem on the island (in some 4* hotels no hot dishes for b at all - only musly, cheese and ham), so in Ceasar we have such hot stuff like bacon, sausages, boild eggs and scramble eggs. Very nice choice of coffe for breakfas was also a nice surprise)))

Pros: It was within easy reach of taormina, mount etna and all the other places we wanted to visit..The hotel room overlooked Mount Etna which when dark we could see the volcano spitting lava from the side. Very exciting
