Great breakfast. Congenial reception/lounge room - rarely empty. People regularly stopped to enjoy a free coffee or tea, and a tart (excellent!) and later in the day, a glass of port. Front desk staff unfailingly helpful.

Elegant boutique hotel - felt very much at home.

Good breakfast; brilliant to be available until 12pm! Such a treat to be able to have different teas, coffee and cakes available in the bar area throughout the day (gratis), and port and muscadet in the evening. Things like this make such a difference. Also, the toiletries were top-class: Molton Brown.

The bed was too hard for our liking. The worse thing which stops us giving 5 stars is the bottle bank outside. Wow that was annoying .... 12pm, 1am ... and it sounded like thousands and thousands of bottles being collected at those times and many more.

This an wonderful hotel, you couldn't do better.

The hotel’s receptionist and staff were so helpful and courteous. They were always willing to offer helpful suggestions to any query we had and went beyond expectations to make sure we enjoyed our stay in Lisbon. The complimentary tea, coffee etc available to residents is also a plus when you just want to rest for a short while after hours of sightseeing. I cannot recommend the friendly efficient staff of this hotel more highly.

The hotel is well decorated, comfortable and with fabulous staff. The 24 hour complimentary tea/coffee was an excellent addition to this perfectly located hotel.

The scrambled eggs were always cold. The one day they were luke warm was glorious:) but really for a free breakfast a tiny thing as everything else was great.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the centre of Lisbon on lovely wide avenue. A great friendly welcome. All the staff super friendly and helpful. Good breakfast comfortable quiet rooms. Easy walking to everywhere we wanted to go.

Everything was very good only the bathroom although fine could do with a more modern shower. Only minor item in otherwise superb experience

Beautiful heritage room with high ceilings and lovely tall french windows onto the balconies kept unobtrusively immaculate by the staff. Wonderful relaxed feel about the hotel - nothing too much trouble but not over attentive. Nespresso, selection of teas, port and or muscatel free in the lounge area all day.

An extremely comfortable hotel with excellent facilities. All of the staff were of a very high calibrate, friendly and very efficient. This is a charming hotel, more so than many much bigger ones. I would highly recommend it for anyone staying in Lisbon.

Breakfast was good with many choices. Room was large and well lit. Sunny. Nice large bathroom. I loved that the room could made totally dark at night ensuring a good sleep.

Reception is a bit slow.

The staff was outstanding and Manager David Pinot ? could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was absolutely the best. The hours were great as was the expresso service.The evening port was greatly appreciated. Heritage was well located for exploring the city.

The location suited our needs, relatively quiet but minutes away from the Buzz. Easy access to the train, bus and tram facilities as well as the shopping district and restaurants. Breakfast was always fresh with a comfortable and relaxed dining area. The bed was comfortable with a choice of pillows. The air-conditioning was effective, both heating and cooling. The staff were all very professional, friendly and presentable.

Initially parking outside the building was a little concerning, but perfectly safe. The garbage collectors made a bit of noise, only for a short while.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Convenient, but quiet location. Very attractive lobby -- a nice place in which to meet friends. Comfortable rooms and bathrooms that actually included bathtubs! I'll be back!

An extra bar of soap in the bathroom, as I recall, and bottled water in our bedroom would have been appreciated. But otherwise, we were entirely happy with the amenities at this hotel.

Beautiful hotel. We were upgraded to a junior suite; it was beautiful and very comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean. The staff is very professional and helpful. Breakfast was lovely with a good assortment. Tea, coffee, and snacks are available at the bar 24/7 and port, muscato, and white port in the afternoons and evenings. The pool was closed during our stay so no insights there. The location of the hotel is excellent, convenient to shops, restaurants, sights, and transportation.

Beautiful hotel and we were able to park our car and walk everywhere except Belem.

Was hoping the desk clerk could help by dropping our postcards in a mail box for us but she refused. Most hotels we have stayed in will do it for us happily!

Expansive bathroom and quiet room. The welcoming lounge area and its use for breakfast is clever! Good location, close to everything.

The pool was wonderful and a peaceful oasis The breakfast was excellent, for both atmosphere and quality. It is an intimate hotel and a nice change from many hotels where the “crowds” descend on the breakfast area

When we arrived after 24 hrs of flying the hotel has changed the room I had booked. This was fine except I had expressly requested a twin room and the room we arrived to had a double bed. They changed it to twin toot sweet but after a long flight it’s nice to arrive without having to ask for these things

Very nice classic room. Great selections for breakfast. Near center of Lisbon and near the river and museums. Great, responsive staff and a had bellmen who almosy always opened the door for you. Beautiful lobby and breakfst area.

Bathroom tile floor needed so deep cleaning. Needed vacuuming under bed. Nothing else that needed improvement.

I couldn't recommend it more highly. The continental breakfasts were superb.

Ambience of the hotel due to attentive and friendly staff with a lounge area that invited connections with other guests whilst having breakfast or a port in the evening after eating out. A beautiful location in a tree lined avenida and close to several restaurants off the beaten track away from the busier restaurant lined streets.

Location is amazing, max. 15-20 minutes walking to all major meeting points in the city. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was really comfortable. What I liked most was having complimentary sweets (including pasteis de nata) and porto wine that were available for consumption any time. This is an amazing add-on free of charge that really helps improve the experience. Breakfast was also rich and very delicious and included fresh fruits. Perhaps a suggestion for the future is offering the possibility to cook a meal such as omelette on demand, in addition to the remaining already prepared dishes.

Almost everything is great. Only thing i found a bit odd was that the toilet door was very difficult to close. As it requires a bit of a push to do so, it may disturb the sleep of your partner (happened to us).

Perfect Lisbon location

Location was ideal you had access to walk everywhere. Catch trains or buses . Shopping and restaurants a plenty. Great Breakfast each day and enjoyed the lounge area for our night cap each night.

I loved this hotel. We were pampered in a lovely room with French windows overlooking the avenue. The bed was bliss and we were very grateful for an upgrade. Staff were wonderful and we are also grateful for the hotel receiving a COD parcel for us and storing it until we arrived. Perfect location. Breakfast was fabulous. Everything about this hoel and our stay was fabulous.

Very comfortable beds on the firm side (as we like them!). Very tall ceilings. Windows are Juliet style doors that opened to get fresh air if weather good. Excellent shutters and drapes for room darkening if desired. Quiet.

All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. Quality and choice of the buffet breakfast was excellent. The hotel is ideally located in easy walking distance to central Lisbon.

Room was spacious with multiple french doors to street views. Bathroom was spotless and spacious. Bed was comfy. The location is top notch for sightseeing in Lisbon. Central to Metro, Bus, Tram, Trolley, Taxi. Walk a block to Starbucks if you crave American coffee, walk two blocks to street bistros. Shop up and down the street. The free water, tea, coffee, port and snacks are great for relaxing after browsing the shops.

Hotel staff was great- recommendations for sightseeing, restaurants, transportation. Our room was nice size, up to date , and clean.

I really can’t think of anything. Everything was spot on.
