Staff were great, but hotel is old
Close to the beach, La Plage. STaff were friendly and efficient, especially at breakfast.
Bar was closed most of the time (bar closed on fridays and saturdays .. how does that make sense !). We couldn't use our coupons at this hotel for free cocktails. A/c took forever to cool down the room. Room was old n worn down. Lifts took forever to arrive. Staircase is dark n too narrow.

The close location to business area. And the free internet access. The breakfast was also reasonable.

Close to both the beach and the city centre making it convenient for access by bus or metro or, indeed, walking.
Provision of evening meals would have been a good option.

Hotels photos are very nice in internet, not like in reality.

Clean tidy effective & comfortable stop over, and a short bus ride or 15min walk from the beach.
The area does suffer some litter, but thats Marseille in general.
