9.6 Excellent
Pros: An oasis of calm, Maisons Wat Kor offers a relaxing stay surrounded by superbly designed rooms, a lotus filled pond, swimming pool, and great restaurant. The owners go out of their way to welcome guests and help with every request. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. We loved it!
Cons: I honestly cannot think of anything I didn’t like, it is so well designed by the owners. A mosquito net though wouldn’t go amiss in the rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 2 nights was not enough. Beautiful, laid back atmosphere. Helpful welcoming staff. Didn’t want to leave.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Appreciate with the property
Cons: Local a bite fare away off two.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very very helpful and attentive Quiet area away from busy town Beautiful picturesque surroundings
Cons: -Would of prepared if massage area was more private -Spa was advertised as offering different treatments that were not available
9.6 Excellent
Pros: After the 7h boattrip from Siem Raep to Battambang, which will be a challenge for some, the arrival at “maisons wat kor” was a real treat!! The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful and the hotel with romantic garden is fabulous. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed having cocktails near the pond before having a very nice Khmer dinner with gardenview. We also did the “beyond the touristic road”tour with the hotel tuktuk driver. It was a very nice tour, lasting a whole day, where the driver showed us many local artcraft, temples and people making ricenoodles, ricepaper, ricewine and not to forget “sticky rice”!! However, we recommend not to go on a Sunday, as many of the artshops/-fabrics were not active. Although, we still could always enter and see the machinery they use to carve wood or weave scarves. Also, we would have liked a nice place for lunch during the tour. Now, we didn’t know what to expect and when we thought about asking the driver, it was actually a bit too late. All in all a very nice stay and we would love to come back and enjoy the hotel with romantic scenery.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great cocktail bar and a great restaurant.
Cons: Nothing to report.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: everything, great staff
Cons: nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful gardens and very peaceful relaxing place to be. Our son loved the big salt water pool. Our lake view room was spacious and stylish. Food was delicious. The staff and owners here are very friendly and helpful -they organised a tuk tuk to pick us up from the bus, a tuk tuk driver to take us to the bamboo train and later in the day to the temple and bat caves, and he was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. They also organised our transport to Phnom Penh. We enjoyed spending time in Battambang and relaxing in between st this gorgeous hotel.
Cons: Nothing at all!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was warm, kind, and helpful! They arranged for wonderful tour guides and transportation. Food was amazing! Exceeded expectations. Highly recommend Battambang Resort.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was great, food was great (ribs could be cooked longer though), staff was real nice and pool was great! Enough to do in the area when e.g using the bikes. Tours and transportation can be booked there. We recommend a stay here.
Cons: Garden was lovely. However, things could be tightened up a bit more. A round each days to pick up rotten leaves or some plastic would improve it even further.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The relaxing atmosphere, the food, the information about things to see and the organisation of a guide.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I loved that this was a little bit out of town, a little further than I thought but was easy to get a tuktuk to take you into town. The pool was lovely to have after going out sightseeing. Because there were so few guests the breakfast was a la cart which was fine as they let you choose pretty much what you wanted. I had dinner here too and the food was fine. The staff were fantastic and were happy to organise anything you needed. The receptionist bought my bus ticket and organised the trip to the bus station which I appreciated and they gave me a late check out to fit my travel time.
Cons: Not that I needed one, but on booking.com it said there was a flat screen TV and there was no television in my room. I was in Room 3.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Swimming pool garden
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every once in while you come across a place where everything just feels right. The Battambang Resort is one of those rare places. It’s a blissful retreat. The rooms are comfortable, modern and clean. The pool is wonderful and the food is unfailingly good. The ambiance created by Jan and Phary is exceptional. But the icing on the cake are the staff who make you feel completely at home. Most people pass through this area. We stayed four nights but could have easily stayed longer. It’s quite a sleepy corner of Cambodia but all the better for that. Oh and go see the circus!

Pros: Friendly, helpful owners and staff!! Nice breakfast that you can enjoy on the balcony. Fantastic location Welcoming and fun atmosphere. Had nice chats with the the staff and owners.
Cons: A little bit noisy at night when trying to sleep but not a big deal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hosts.Good location. Extremely comfortable beds. Exquisite breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host Morrison & Robert were fun and quite knowledgeable about the area. Lovely ,warm, and very welcoming! Staff is attentive and made sure we were well cared for.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super cute boutique B&B run by two very chatty and interesting chaps. Their young cambodian staff also love to chat and look after you really well. Its a 5 minute walk from the river and great street food stalls ( who really do the tastiest food, we had our best meals from stalls and from cheap riverside eateries across all of Cambodia). Morrison (one of the owners) walked us to have a lunch of noodles and spring rolls from a local woman who has a stall on the next road and it was delicious and less than $1! The rooms are decorated with antiques and colonial style artifacts. There is air con and a fan, free water fountain to re-fill bottles and breakfast to your room or on the balcony. I asked for a fruit salad for breakfast instead of the baguette they normally bring and they outdid themselves with an amazing array of locally sourced Cambodian fruits which was utterly delicious. Morrison Arranged his favourite tuk tuk driver for us for a day trip around the sights of Battambang and it was brilliant, he knew so much about the place and took us to see things we would never have seen left to our own devices. I would highly recommend a stay here and a couple of days in Battambang.
Cons: Being picky....Air con could have been a bit colder - ours seemed to struggle a bit. Less carbs for breakfast, but that's just a personal preference.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very friendly and very helpful!!! that was amazing!
Cons: I woke up with a big noise due to a celebration close to the hotel, but that's customs in the country. The staff provides ear plugs, and were sorry about that. The price for the room is very expensive regarding the size of the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely love it. What Robert and Morrison have created is a gem in the middle of Cambodia. It is not the place or location (which are great) but it is the service, the genuine and warm touches that make the difference. The Cambodian guys are super friendly and they make you feel part of the family after 2 days. We will try and go back! Could not think anywhere else to stay in Battambang. Thank you! Special thanks to Sarun and Mr Ratha, superstars!
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly and welcoming
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Owners were very friendly, helpful and a lot of fun. The staff were all lovely. The Bric a Brac exceeded our expectations, we will definitely recommend this establishment to everyone.
Cons: We loved it. There was nothing we did not like.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location was good; staff were friendly if a a little over attentive.
Cons: Windows opened by the staff during the day meaning you had to sleep under the mosquito net over the bed. The air conditioner was underpowered for the room, it took well over an hour to drop the temperature by a few degrees. No fridge in the room. One on the balcony. No safe in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quirky, different, fun. Genial staff offering ever helpful, intimate service. Great wine and cheeses. Humour, creativity and artistry abound. A very memorable stay for us. Mr Tah, the Tuk Tuk driver was superb. He took us to places we wouldn’t have seen otherwise using his local knowledge. With good English he told us his stories of local and history offering personal insights and perspectives... We found Battambang a quieter place to visit and our boat trip to Siem Reap was a relaxing, highly enjoyable day with Visal.

Pros: The attention to detail. There was even a hammock on my porch with a ceiling fan. Comfortable pillows and a fabulous big bathroom with hot water and water pressure.
6.0 Good
Cons: I think it was a little overpriced for what you got. I stayed in a room with no direct sunlight. Perhaps some of the other rooms were nicer.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely stay at the beautiful Bambu hotel. An oasis of calm within Battambang.

Pros: The perfect place to take time out and relax during a hectic travel schedule - we liked it so much we extended and stayed an extra night. Excellent food, restaurant and bar on-site, with lovely chilled-out atmosphere. Staff were great, helpful and friendly - and the owner made us feel so welcome. We loved our stay here!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Bambu hotel feels a little like an Expat hangout with many European and Australian travellers spending time around the beautiful pool and enjoying drinks from the bar.
Cons: It was really hot and humid when we stayed here, it would have been nice to have some aircon in the main restaurant area.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff here were absolutely wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile. The food at the restaurant was fantastic and the location was good.
Cons: Music blared from nearby hotels and the music and praying from a temple started very early and went for most of the day.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Swimming pool in the back garden was delightful. The staff were all very friendly and charming. The food was good quality. Our bedroom had a lovely vintage feel to it with a super 4 poster bed.
Cons: The breakfast menu was a bit unclear. We thought fruit was coming but it didn't arrive because we hadn't ticked it on the menu selection although there was no tick-box against it. Very confusing ! Also, the cocktails we ordered in the evening were not great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful villa. One staff that speaks good English. All other staff very friendly. Super comfortable bed. Perfect location.
Cons: Water not always warm
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff and a haven of peace within Battambang.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: La Villa is a very charming and characterful hotel. Our room was huge and largely as it would have been in the 1920´s, even down to the original ceiling fan controls. It is a short walk to the old centre of Battambang and the staff were extremely helpful in providing local advice and support. The restaurant is also highly recommended and even had wine at an acceptable price
Cons: Nothing really
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice renovated Villa from early 1900. Very helpful and friendly staff. Food was delicious! Would have loved to stay longer...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building. Quirky, individually styled rooms. Really nice people. Good food.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stylish colonial building and decor; very comfortable and interesting room; beautifully lush and well maintained grounds; super friendly, obliging staff; and a smart menu of scrummy food - all for a terrific $ rate.
Cons: No negatives, truely.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, and La Villa is made in an old colonial building with a lot of style and authenticity. The new manager was very open and kind to us. Definitely worth a visit if you are going to Battambang and want to stay in a beautiful colonial building. The food was delicious, bit more expensive than usual, but really worth the extra money. The breakfast was high quality as well, a lot of homemade products.

Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. A ferry terminal shuttle is provided at no charge, and free valet parking is available onsite.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: A small resort in a quiet area of Battambang. The room we had opposite the pool was large and tastefully set out. The pool was big enough for real swimming exercise and never too busy. The hotel can organise tuk-tuk drivers for various sites of interest locally and it is only 1$ into town, even if a little far to walk in hot weather. The grounds are very attractively presented. The breakfast is solid with the usual fare.
Cons: The hotel tells that Buddhist ceremonial events can sometimes be heard over all parts of the city - and these were audible a little in the early hours.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Had a nice pool area with comfortable sun lounges, breakfast was the best we had in Cambodia during our 3 week visit so much variety and good quality produce. Not to far from cafes and the centre of Battambang. Rooms were large and air conditioned. Staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: The beds are rock hard and there were gaps around the doors so mosquitoes could enter, we did ask for paper so we could stuff it in the gaps to try and keep most of them out which was provided. There were no English tv channels available.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Bath. Greenery and decoration. Breakfast was a little limited, but perfectly adequate...buffet style. Pool area was nice. Staff were friendly. Can't compare it to other hotels in Battambang, but it seemed like an oasis...except when wedding parties started up near by! All part of the experience. Our bathroom was big, with a bath and shower, but split in 2, which was a little strange, so after using the toilet, you have to walk through the bedroom to go into the other half to wash your hands! Down a dark lane, but since you'll probably get a tuktuk home if you eat in town, then that does not really matter. Only a very short distance from main road. Not our favorite place to stay in Cambodia, but it may well be a top runner in Battambang which did not seem to have too many choices. Would stay again, altho unlikely we'll ever visit Battambang again.
Cons: A little disappointed that our 'villa' wasnt actually a villa, but a part of a larger building (room 111). However, the good thing was people did not walk by directly outside it, so a bit more privacy than some villas. Bed was a little solid for me, but ok.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful boutique hotel. Fantastic pool area, clean and comfortable rooms, food in restaurant was great. Staff arranged breakfast for us earlier than usual as we had an early start and manager went above expectations when he escorted us to several medical centres after an accident. Absolutely brilliant service.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location slightly away from the towns centre, but tuk tuks quickly organised by reception. Clean, peaceful environment with friendly staff.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice Hotel, a good selection for breakfast (delicious soup and Croissants). The staff was always very friendly.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very relaxing being by the pool.. was quiet during the day time.. lots of nature all around. Beautiful butterflies.
Cons: Wedding celebrations next door started early . Very noisy.. bed was also very creaky.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: i arrived one day ahead of schedule, in the middle of the night and within 10 minutes i had a clean ready room !
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Dhari was lovely. Location was great. Bed was great and rooms well-appointed.
Cons: Not their fault but rooster crowing from 3.10am onwards was ordinary. Pillows were too big - a choice would be better. Advice on how low the river was when we booked our boat ride to Siem Reap would have been useful. Don't use the boat in late Dec in our opinion.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a good location, in terms of visiting the town. Room was a good size. The rooms have air-conditioning and wi-fi. There was also wi-fi at the pool which is good, because the general wi-fi went out, at one time. Restaurant was OK and convenient to the rooms. Fruit and eggs were good.
Cons: Regarding breakfast -- the orange juice is too sweet -- it tastes like Tang. The bacon was more like strips of SPAM. The service was OK, but the staff sometimes didn't understand what was being asked for (asked for tea, they brought coffee, etc.). In the room, they had a remote control for the air-conditioning, but the sensor was covered with a piece of paper, so I had to pull that aside, in order to adjust the A.C. One night during my visit, a large group of guests was being very noisy, outside in a common space. No one from the hotel told them to be quiet. They were noisy and rowdy, well after 11:30 pm. The hotel should enforce quiet times.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The wifi was good. I loved the wooden door which was engraved beautifully. The room was large, clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool looked great but I was unable to use it as I run out of time. The breakfast was good. I wanted to see a few things in the town and the hotel arranged a great tuc tuc driver that took me to see everything I wanted to see and more. He was very good and would highly recommend. I had a great day here. All the staff were friendly and helpful. They all spoke good English. The owner was very sweet and gave me a free scarf when I was leaving.
Cons: The bath did not have a plug.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location and the swimming pool.
Cons: For the price, the services were really below expectation. Issues with the bathtub that was leaking. It took 2 days to be fixed. The breakfast was marginal for such an hotel. The staff was not really helpful and proactive. I would not recommend to spend such an amount of money and stay in this hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable king size bed and terrific pool!
Cons: The train line runs behind property and went past at 2am blowing horn... other than that it was great!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very supportive staff; they helped us a lot to buy bus-tickets. Very good situated. Family suite is very spacious.
Cons: Breakfast-room/restaurant near the street.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Pool and air conditioning great. Some staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: One staff member was very abrupt, non smiling and disengaged. Mosquitoes were a huge issue
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great tuk tuk driver Joe, showed us all the sights and very friendly with good english
Cons: The lights and air con had to be fixed late at night when we got back from dinner, girl at reception knew there was a problem, but didn't fix it when we arrived. The late staff did do their best to fix the problem as quick as they could, but should've been done earlier.

Pros: Great Hotel
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful organising boat to Siem Reap and driver there. The room was quiet in a good location close to the busy streets. Room was clean and comfortable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant next to the hotel, cheap and good food. Totally recommend, even if you are not going to stay in this hotel. The restaurant staff very friendly and the manager is totally kind. Good value for money, VIP room only for 25USD. Amazing. The price is cheaper if you book directly with the hotel. Nice view to the pagoda. Nice room size, even the standard is big.
Cons: The night shift staff don't speak english at all, really difficult to communicate. The Internet doesn't work. Some Cockroach in the room Noise during the morning, construction works next to the hotel.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel.
Cons: Late check out option not available, which is difficult if you are on a late bus.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything - a rare situation for me. I have been to so many hotels and I can usually find one or more things that I don't like. Classy Hotel is an exception because not only does it look great, but the room I stayed in was comfortable and functional. So many hotels spend so much money beautifying the outside and put emphasis on what people see outside the rooms, but they tend to skimp on the room itself. I judge the hotel not on what's outside the room, but the functionality and comfort of the room. Others in the hospitality industry could take a lesson from Classy Hotel, a hotel true to its name. I'll be going to Battambang again, and this is definitely my hotel of choice there.
Cons: None.
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel is in a good position; the room was clean, the breakfast included very rich.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Liked the sky bar and pool area. Great central location. friendly staff.
Cons: Could slightly improve breakfast to western palate.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was on par with other hotels of this type in the area.
Cons: Air conditioning was weak. Shower drained slow.
7.1 Good
Pros: I like the swimming pool and the panoramic city view at the restaurant. Room service and staff were nice.
Cons: The elevator shuts way fast while more person is trying to get in. The elevator doors hit my shoulder blades a couple of time. Buying a smoothie near the pool side bar was a lot of hassle. The lady made me go walk all the way back into the reception desk to make a payment which felt like an eternity. The bath robes really stinks like old laundry being washed with no detergent soap. After a shower and jumping onto a bath robe I was like what is that smell. Now I got the bad odor smell on my body after taking a clean shower. The air conditioning was very lousy. I was sweating the whole time and couldn’t wait to leave the place. Me and my fiancé had to take turns fanning each other.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We liked the breakfast lots of choice, we loved the pool, food at the pool was good as well as the roof top Restaurant. The staff were great and very helpful. Very relaxing stay and comfortable.
Cons: The massage was just OK nothing special, they were not ready for us when we arrived, 10 minutes late, my massage person was being trained on the job. Was not quite finished with massage they wanted to be paid right away, not very Classy. They should rethink how they run their business, they have a front desk , could have pleasantly taken our payment after we were dressed and ready to pay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff went out their way to help and very welcoming
Cons: Nothing at all

7.0 Good
Pros: Fantastic food
Cons: Room upstairs and not great with a baby and a pram. Pool okay but not as good as pics / no towels available on day used.
7.5 Good
Pros: Loved the big spacious room. Great there was a water cooler to fill water bottles.
Cons: Beds were very firm, unfortunately we didn’t find them comfortable. Rooms were very dated.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is well placed. We really appreciated the hotel rooms as well as the staff and the super tuk tuk driver Sarath. Big thank you to Sarath, the tuk tuk driver the hotel advised us. He made us discover Battambang via tuk tuk as well as via a bike trip in the countyside. He was really perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is my third visit here and everything was great again I would highly recommend this hotel. Great size rooms, clean, great location and friendly staff
7.0 Good
Pros: centrally located, with a clean room and comfy beds.
Cons: staff was not proactive, ask for hand soap, the reply was you can use bath gel (obviously we could). In the bathroom light was controlled with a sensor, not well located.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful, even though initially there was a mistake on my room booking. I’d asked for an upstairs room with balcony and they had put us in a ground floor room without. They quickly sorted the problem, we just had to wait half hour whilst the room was made ready. The room was very large with kettle, tea & coffee, plenty of charging points. The room could have done with a lick of paint and the furniture was beginning to look a little tired, but overall, perfectly adequate. The large double bed was very comfortable and the aircon and WiFi worked well. Had a nice balcony overlooking the gardens, but strangely it was shared with the room next door. Luckily, there wasn’t anyone in the room whilst we were there. The location was good. Turn left out of the hotel and across the bridge into town, rather than turning right - there isn’t much that end of town! (Can recommend restaurant Jaan Bai taster menu) Breakfast selection was numerous, choice of maybe 10 items, plus hot and cold drink and a mixed fruit platter. The day we arrived they were hosting a large corporate event in the garden (maybe 200 people), with tables and chairs covering the whole area. They started testing the music mid afternoon really loudly for some time, so much so that we felt we had to complain. They were very apologetic and stopped it immediately. We understood the need to test it, but to it was the volume we objected to. 10 minutes later the manager arrived at our front door and offered us a complimentary meal that evening to compensate, apologising profusely. We accepted and really appreciated the gesture. The party was over by 10pm, and by the next morning you would never have known it had taken place. In fact it was good fun watching everyone in the finery from our balcony and toasting them when they spotted us. So although we had initially needed to complain, it was dealt with very professionally.
Cons: The only negative really is that the rooms, inside and out could do with freshening up. The outside doors particularly are in need of resending and painting, once black they are now a peeling and faded light grey!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Pool, food, great relaxing way to spend Christmas day
Cons: Noisy, construction site next door.

9.4 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are lovely as are the grounds. The staff were very attentive. Lovely restaurant on site but it was low season and we were the only ones there!!
Cons: In the spirit of being constructively critical, I would just say that it seems that a lot of money time and effort was spent on the opening of the hotel (which I don’t think was too long ago) but there doesn’t appear to be much investment in upkeep and maintenance. Little things like small holes in the wall or ceiling which would take a matter of hours to fix, would have made all the difference. That said, I would still return.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The place is very quiet.
Cons: My kid got mosquito bites all over his legs. The room smells musty. The bathtub is clogged, was going to go local store to get some drano to unclogged it since the handyman said he couldn’t anything about it.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Pool was good, property was clean, lady on reception was friendly, good communication and helpful, good emailing in advance of stay.
Cons: Breakfast was very poor, dining area and reception were run down, waiting staff at breakfast not well trained. Too far out of town. Bathroom not good shower curtain needed to be on other side. Very expensive for the quality of property and location compared to other properties in Battembang.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The staff was nice and trying hard
Cons: It is very run down, I was given a room with such a crack in the door that mosquitoes were able to come in as they please. They moved me to another room, less mosquitoes but terrible smell.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel & swimming pool, friendly staff
Cons: Very far from the city center Expensive breakfast (5 dollars) which should be included given the price of the hotel
4.6 Okay
Pros: The staff was very nice and accommodating but we did have a difficult time communicating with them as their English was limited. The pool was good.
Cons: Property is almost 2 miles from the center of the city and it’s a bit difficult to walk as sidewalks are hit and miss along the way. Our room was never cleaned during our stay. Apparently if you want your room cleaned, you have to leave the key which we were not aware of. A sign in the room was a big put-off because it was full of rules like “no using or selling drugs in the room” and if you stain the sheets you have to pay for them and no swinging on the bathroom sink. During our stay and especially at night we heard critters in the attic space. Also we tried the restaurant once for dinner and the food was inedible. And every morning starting at 6 there is loud music coming from behind our room and construction in the front of the property. It’s no wonder we were the only people staying there.
6.0 Good
Pros: Gardens were lovely. Room quite pleasant.
Cons: Lovely pool but not clean so swimming unhealthy. Not enough communication with guests re room cleaning etc. and could not be provided with a second pillow. Khmer staff very nice but had problems communicating at times which led to some amusing and not so amusing stuff ups.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The general manager of the hotel was very responsive
Cons: The comparative price with other establishments in the city was poor. The room was very spacious but did very bad management of space. Inidicativelly I mention there was no spot for storing luggage and inadequate storage for clothes. The pictures for the pool area were misleading and I assess digitally processed to enhance the length
5.4 Okay
Cons: The hotel needs an update

7.1 Good
Pros: Good bed, cheap price
Cons: Extra 1$ for hot water. They insisted to take photo of my passport.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Well priced. Very convenient to bus transport. Large room.
Cons: A bit dated and dusty.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great value for money. Clean, everything worked. No breakfast, but the cafe just across the road did good breakfasts.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, caring and helpfull staff. Good location (7min walk to the centre).
Cons: A little old fashioned but still a good place to stay.
6.3 Good
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The staff had no knowledge and basic English. They used the internet data to play games which left it slow.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredibly helpful service is the real winner here.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very neat and clean spacious rooms. Comfortable beds and good quiet AC in the room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good cafes and restaurants nearby. There were quite a few bus agencies nearby making it convenient to plan and book road trips.
Cons: It was a bit mismanaged since we didn't have toilet paper in one room and towels in the other. They also forgot to replenish the water bottles the next day. But, the good thing is we were handed over these items as soon as they were informed about it. No elevator in the hotel, this could be an issue with people with mobility issues.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The price is the only one plus point.
Cons: - Noisy, there was a constant engine noise from outside. - Staff at the reception barely speaks basic English. - One of the bed was missing a sheet. - The A/C stopped working due to a problem with the remote control - Beds are not comfortable at all, super hard. Caused back pains to two people not sleeping in the same bed
5.0 Okay
Pros: The bed was soft and the room big. I guess for 15$ a night the price was still okay, even if not great value.
Cons: The room was very dusty! Some of the bathroom facilities (e.g. bidee, shower head...) were mouldy. The staff wasn't very helpful: they didn't welcome us, didn't show us the room or told us where it was (just handed us the key) and didn't give us any further information.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location

Pros: Good place for its price. Nice helpful stuff, they do their best for us, when my husband was sick. They have breakfast and coffee options, also some excursions (bat cave for 12$ - you will see very beautiful sunset) and tickets. Location also is good: near the local market and nice cafe
Cons: Not so fresh rooms, but we don’t care about it. No elevator
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. near central market, river, night market, many banks very safe and comfortable very good location.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is near the market and some nice restaurants. It has a nice rooftop with a jacuzzi and hammocks to relax. The rooms are clean and beds comfortable. It was very quiet in the night so we slept very well.

Cons: Great Stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel and good location.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location is near the drop off/pick up point for a couple of the bus companies. I liked the architectural design of hallways, but was a little run down (although that may have added to its charm). Nice shower/bathroom - big bed and room.
Cons: Rooms had cobwebs and insects crawling around. Terrace was a no-go area. AC didn't work. Visited our friends at 2 nearby hostels which were much nicer for around the same price. No offer of help from the 3 members of staff with our bags nor to the elderly couple we saw arrive the next day (no lifts). One of these 3 members also was very rude to the young lady trying to check us in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great Hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel room was spotless, area was the bathroom , staff was very friendly and helpful. Near central market river .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice room. Friendly staff and helpful. Good location
6.0 Good
Cons: I'm mixed over this hotel...but overall I would not stay here again. Pros: good location, good sized rooms Cons: Communication: Many guidebooks note the staff here is helpful and 'in the know'; however I often encountered big language barriers and not helpful with info. no water provided, only for purchase at cost higher than other places! Roof top restaurant closed the whole time, but never explained. TUK tuk: There were often tuk tuk drivers in the lobby which I found uncomfortable to always be pushed with a tour. They were also inconsistent in prices: for example paper in room lists one price for tuk tuk to circus. I then booked a private one; tuk tuk at front desk quoted higher price and only agreed to other price when I showed the hotel paper. Then at last minute was told I had to share, and they upped the price again. It felt poorly organized or that tuk tuks/hotel were trying to get as much $ from guests. I could go on...basically this hotel is a good location and good price...however you can find same options in town with a better guest/customer experience.

Cons: Nothing to report.

Pros: Bambu hotel feels a little like an Expat hangout with many European and Australian travellers spending time around the beautiful pool and enjoying drinks from the bar.
Cons: It was really hot and humid when we stayed here, it would have been nice to have some aircon in the main restaurant area.
