10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ultimate service with excellent staff
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Clean
Cons: Very RUDE male receptionist & also unhelpful manager. Booked a double room for myself & 2 children (13 & 10 years old). As such, I paid for 2 adults/occupants, as 3rd occupant was free (under 12 years old). Hotel booking included free breakfast. But Hotel refused to offer 2 breakfast coupons, just 1. Despite my explanations, they refused to offer the 2nd coupon. What a RIP OFF!!!! I refused my 01 breakfast coupon & returned it to the HOTEL, as a matter of principle. In the room, they only offered 1 set of amenities 》 01 bath towel, 01 toothbrush, etc 》 do they not understand that there will be 3 guests staying the room?!?!?!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: all fine. all fine. all fine. all fine ... just the way booking.com asks question is irritating all good .. and now we are almost up to two to three sentences. fine all green. By the way the hotel is good.
Cons: all fine. all fine. all fine. all fine ... just the way booking.com asks question is irritating all good .. and now we are almost up to two to three sentences. fine all green. By the way the hotel is good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like the location, the front desk crew, breakfast buffet always good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great. It was much better than expected and better than big airport hotel we later stayed at. Very close to train station. The weather was turning warm and the comforter is much too warm. They need a lighter blanket. I was able to visit Tokyo Richmond which had shops and located in a great area.
Cons: Nice restaurant and very close to parks and train stations.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: I only spent one night on my way elsewhere, and the location couldn’t be beat. It was about a 4 minute walk from Narita Station, which is only one stop from terminals 2 & 3. Great location for a weary traveler who couldn’t be bothered going all the way into Tokyo. The hotel was clean and modern.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room with a splendid view on Narita-San, very special to be awakened by the temple bell. Delicious vegetarian meals and everything is served in a lovely manner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was my second time staying at Wakamatsu Honten in Narita, and once again it was absolutely wonderful!! It is the perfect ryokan to stay in for your first or last night in Japan since Narita Station is only a 9 minute train ride away from the Narita airport. Wakamatsu Honten is about a 10 minute walk from the Narita Station (or a 3 minute taxi ride). It is across the street from a gorgeous ancient temple---the second largest in all of Japan! Plus Narita is known for its incredible sushi and unagi. Wakamatsu Honten has a lovely onsen that you can soak in after (or before!) a long journey. I will always recommend that my friends stay here. Oh, and if you are looking for a good bar nearby, the Jet Lag Club is great and has delicious Japanese whiskey. :-)
Cons: Nothing! It was perfect. :-)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service was great but the dinner (served in our room and a vegetarian feast) was fabulous and the location (just opposite Naritasan Temple) was perfect.
Cons: One of the futons was lumpy but we are very fussy so most people would be OK with the bedding.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was so pleasant and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the view was wonderful. Thank you for such a lovely stay!
8.6 Excellent
Pros: Traditional style and public bath. Fabulous temple across the street.
Cons: Hard for me to sleep on thin mattress on floor.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice location, suitable for our needs. Close enough to some places we wanted to visit and to Narita airport. The room was generally good.
Cons: Parking was a little bit far from the hotel. Breakfast was not bad, but it would be so much better if they gave us even a small slice of fish or some other protein in addition to natto.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Wakamatsu Honten is a ryokan with very good location, own onsen (bath), helpful staff, cozy rooms, etc. I really liked the room with tatami floors and wood panels. A big plus for the tea set, onsen and carrying my luggage to the room Unfortunately, I didn't order any meals so I don't know have any feedback on that.
Cons: The floor can be quite squeaky.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful, we almost missed our shuttle bus to the airport, and having a fussy baby didn't help. One of the guys actually went up to our room to remind us and helped us bring our luggage down while the receptionist came out to help bring our luggage to the bus, never experienced such amazing customer service anywhere. The hotel location is also very close to the Narita train station (less than a block), which is great. The room was small but cute, came with two sets of some kind of kimono and slippers. The electric outlet also woks with US chargers
Cons: The elevators were tiny for a family with many luggage, we had to make 2 trips to go up and down, because they couldn't fit the baby stroller and the luggage, but it's not a deal breaker.

7.1 Good
Pros: Stayed here quite a during layovers or overnight when I prefer to be near the airport.
Cons: Generally, it’s good overall except when there’s a large group checking in + front desk seems to be short of people
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very close to the airport, with a free shuttle bus departing right outside the hotel entrance (takes less than 10 mins). Room service is available 24/7 in case you arrive late at night. There’s also a convenience store near the hotel lobby which is nice.
Cons: The rooms could be renovated, overall the hotel feels a bit dated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room size was big. Staff are very nice and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: John in the lobby was very friendly and helpful
Cons: Close to airport
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is exceptional courteous and helpful. The cleaning is absolute (but I would not expect less in a Japanese good hotel.). It is nice at the entrance, it has a very nice restaurant with nice view and good food (wine is expensive but we could find an Australian good red wine for reasonable price/quality ratio). And the traditional thin slice of tender meat you cook directly on the table in a boiling water with vegetable was exquisite and very light. A very convivial way of having food among colleagues far from home. The surroundings, despite the vicinity to Narita airport (which makes the hotel very convenient), are pleasant, with European football camps and other sports and a small walking path on a small hill. Price was really convenient.
Cons: All was good. Only the bed and especially the cover a little bit short. It was a little bit difficult to tune the air condition to right value (in Japan they keep always too hot). But all these are really minor points.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The professionalism of the staff The equipment of the hotel The hours of the car for the Airport
Cons: Nothing
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nice location with lots of possibilities, nice first impression, with a nice lobby and good shuttle service to airport. Big, nice looking building that seems was a hot hotel long ago. Spacious room with nice view
Cons: Costumer service at check in was not very friendly, well rude! Was told it would be no power from 1:30am till 5:00am, meaning no AC, elevators, lights in hallways, so it got very hot and stuffy, was not informed about it when I made reservations the day before! Had an emergency flashlight that was not working, asked for a replacement and wasn’t working either. Room was outdated and bathroom dirty, two small pillows for two people in a king size bed, no bathrobe, sad towels
5.4 Okay
Cons: Room wasn’t very clean. There was hair ok the walls in the bathroom and it has a sort of unpleasant smell - cigarette smoke + mildew. Sheets & towels were clean though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet room Very comfortable Excellent breakfast buffet
Cons: Only one shuttle per hour in the am was insufficient
