Staying for a few days and looking for something to do, the nearby town of Quartzsite is a great day trip destination for all rock and gem enthusiasts and host to a few seasonal events. Indoors- Enjoy in-room amenities such as: DirecTV®, hair dryers, microwaves, coffee makers, refrigerators, and are equipped with desks and convenient USB ports for your work and charging needs. We are a 100% smoke-free hotel with a Guest Laundromat to freshen up your wardrobe. Take advantage of our guest center services for copying, printing, and browsing. Pros (+) Cheapest in town
Cons (-) The room had an awful, sour smell. Also, I had pre-booked and paid on the web, but they added a "pending" charge to my credit card, equal to the price of the room, when I checked in. They said it was for incidentals and "all hotels do that." I have stayed at scores of hotels for years, and never seen it before. They did remove the charge from my card two days later.
